Excellent care and service. The staff is mostly bilingual (Spanish and English). All of their work is of guaranteed quality. I highly recommend a dental cleaning with Assistant Perla Núñez. She's excellent care and service. She leaves your teeth looking beautiful. She's very friendly. All of the staff are attentive, but she does her work beautifully.

Extremely affordable, fast and professional. Very gentle deep cleanings, Great bedside manner. Way better than any dental experience I've had in the United States. They literally have a toll-free number as well as a 619 area code number and literally named their company after YOUR first president. You barely crossed the border and you're there, they've been providing affordable dental Care to San diegans since the '70s, they know exactly what you want and provide exactly that and did you know Mexico has higher schooling standards for dentists than the US? So it's no wonder that I've had better care there than I've ever had in the US. When people ask me which dentist I recommend I say I don't recommend a dentist, I recommend eight. Because that's how many they have at Washington dental, which is why you'll never have a long wait and don't need an appointment. Just walk in during the hours listed here on Google maps. They also have free sodas and big screen TV while you wait but I've never had time to finish one because they are that fast.

Just got done with a 6 tooth bridge process took approximately 2 months since I had some teeth extractions and needed some healing. Overall great experience with JP and Dr. Ruiz definitely recommend it 100% will be recommending more people.

I hope people don’t ignore my comment and take the time to get properly informed. A few weeks ago, I went to this clinic based on a friend’s recommendation. I wanted to learn more about dental implants and get a general check up to see which treatment would be best for me. I was greeted by a man who goes by the name JP. As soon as I arrived, he handed me a surgical health form without even asking what I was there for. During the consultation, the doctor explained what I needed to JP. They both left the room, and when JP came back, he told me something completely different from what the doctor had said. He tried to sell me a treatment that didn’t match what the doctor had recommended. I felt like he was pushing implant treatment on me, even though I had clearly heard the doctor mention other options and not implants. Please don’t let yourself be misled by people like him. They may seem friendly, but their goal is often to get as much money out of you as possible. I realized what was happening because I understand some spanish and was able to catch what the doctor told him. The clinic itself is good, but I strongly recommend asking for someone else to assist you, not JP.

One of the best dental experiences I’ve had, and I’m quite the dental wimp! Dr Peña was obviously very knowledgeable and had a very gentle touch, especially when it came to giving injections. They explained everything in detail, had state of the art equipment, and even offered a fluffy fleece blanket in case the AC was a little much. They also have their own taxis that will pick you up at the pedestrian crossing and take you back, courtesy of the clinic. 10/10, I’ll be back and my bestie said the same!

I was referred to Washington Dental by a friend and my experience was very pleasant. The staff are very welcoming and the customer service is top notch! They are bilingual and very knowledgeable. Plus!! They provide transportation to and from the office by taxi (white taxi with green line) All you have to do is cross by foot through the San Ysidro port of entry. 10/10 highly recommended! I was guided by their patient coordinator J.P. Duarte and seen by Dr. Cruz, very professional and direct.

Absolutely the best dental work in the city. A high volume clinic that mainly caters to gringos, they’ve got a team of English speaking guys who will guide you through the process, coordinate your care, and (I’m sure) help you book transportation and accommodation (I didn’t need this but they offered) My dentist was highly experienced, worked quickly, and took time to explain my options. I ended up paying a great rate for a root canal and new crown. Unlike a fancier dental office you will end up waiting a bit longer in the waiting room. If you want to feel like a VIP there are other clinics who will charge you about 2x as much and take a lot longer completing your root canal. Washington dental clinic had free fast WiFi, coffee and sodas in the waiting area, polite receptionists, and low prices for good care. JP, my rep/coordinator was always available to answer questions and check in with the doctor.

Hey everyone, my name is Susan. I was referred to Washington Dental by a San Diego Uber driver and local, name Dimitri. When I told him that I was headed to the border to get my teeth fixed, Dimitri shared with me that his family and friend’s go WD for all their dental needs. Not only did he recommend them for their affordability, he also raved about the staff who are knowledgeable and friendly. He called them for me right then and there! For me, there is nothing better than a patient in the states who can attest to a reputable clinic in Mexico. Like others, I found myself overwhelmed with the hundreds of clinics to choose from, just in Tijuana alone. For many people, cost is the determining factor in choosing to travel out of the US for more affordable options. Where I’m from, WA state, I was given a quote of $25 to $30 grand to perform the dental work that I needed. This included multiple crowns and implant’s or dentures. For years I felt this was simply unattainable. But Washington Dental was able to complete all my dental work for under $9000. I now have the smile that I have always dreamed of. No more covering up my mouth in photos or being embarrassed when I wasn’t able to order certain foods at restaurants. After years of feeling the shame of having missing teeth, I have a new lease on life and my confidence is 10 fold. I owe this all to the staff at Washington dental- Dr. Mendoza, J.P. and all the rest of the compassionate staff who gave me the best of care, while I was there. I consider them family now.

Amazing!!! Washington dental has it together. The patient coordinators are awesome, great dentists, assistants etc. The whole staff is terrific. All of the needed stuff to do complicated and complete dental work is right here in this building. Their technology and communication is world class. Most of the staff speaks native English and studied in the United States. They do dental work that would take several appointments in 1 day. We arrived on a Monday morning at 10 am with no appointment, and left at 3 pm with all work completed for that visit. The next appointment will be in 6 months to get the permanent implants. During the procedure, they found some work that didn't need to be done and gave a refund on the spot. Their honesty and integrity is unprecedented. The waiting room has comfortable chairs, a refrigerator full of drinks, really good coffee, and television. Right outside the clinic is a variety of restaurants, and shopping. Parking is in their private parking lot. If you're going to Mexico for dental work, Tijuana is a fantastic city full of wonderful people and families. It's a really beautiful and clean place. If you enjoy a little bit of calm night life, stay in Playas de Tijuana with an expansive beach, local and international restaurants, and a slow pace to wind down before and after your procedure. Washington dental pricing is clearly presented, affordable and they are honest about only doing the work that needs to be completed to make your smile great. The procedure was pain free, and healing went according to plan with minimal pain. Their dentists know how to be gentle and sensitive to patient needs and comfort.

I went to dentist appointment here this morning. Next to my hotel. The place was professional and clean My contact Noel, the manager met me and took me to the room where a dentist and dental assistant saw me and took x rays. Then Noel came back in and I told him my concern about getting crowns now and would rather get a filling rather than getting a crown which amounts to rebuilding your tooth. He came in two minutes later and told me they recommend to do nothing. No pain and no issues so basically if it’s not broken don’t fix it. I asked how much I owed, he said nothing. I was expecting to wake up from sleeping as this sounded like a dream. It wasn’t. Of all places , this was the most honest assessment. Back home, in the U.S., 3 different dentists wanted to do 3 different things that amount to thousands of dollars. Go figure. Surreal experience. Pleasantly surprised.

Washington Dental Clinic was a referral from a member of a club we belong to in Encinitas, Ca. I had gone to see my dentist who would accept my insurance. Oh no, new dentist, when she got through telling how many teeth and how many crowns would be involved. The total was about $13,500.00 and my insurance did not approve it. The friend referral gave me a ride to Tijuana, we walked across the boarder and took a taxi to Washington Dental. Edgar Preciado was my Administrator, my Dentist was Dr. Eli Carrasco. They spoke perfect English and gave me the option of two prices which would include four crowns and a four tooth bridge. I choose the most expensive option $3,500. They made the temporary and I was out of there within two hours. A friend went with me and he got a three tooth crowns and bridge. The next visit I drove my car directly to the dental office. Plenty of parking off street and hired a taxi for $10.00 to lead me back to the boarder exit. Because my gums had recessed during the previous nine years of the old bridge. I called several times to speak to Edgar Preciado to get advise of how to medicate and help my gums heal. Edgar always answered my calls, patient with my request and tried every way possible to help me. You will never find another dental office that seems like one big family to take care of your needs like Washington Dental Clinic. I paid my cell phone co. $5.93 for one day International Roaming so I could use the GPS connection in my car attached to the cell phone. I also called my Auto Insurance and got $300,000 of liability coverage added for $30.00 for one day. That is what the Mexican Government requires. We took our passports and absolutely no trouble driving or crossing the boarder. Just watch the one-way streets. Obey the Red lights and stop signs. It is no different than driving in the US. Street names are in Spanish. I do not speak Spanish, but my GPS would tell me where to turn. The first 2 visits, over 7 years ago, I would have given a 5 star rating - the last would have to be a -2. They must have changed management since my previous visit. During my most recent visit, all I needed was to have an eye tooth crown re-cemented. The guy was not attending to a patient's stated need, he was doing a sales job for dentistry work. He started me out with a "song and dance " line that I needed about $3,500 worth of work. When I balked at that, we finally ended up at a procedure which he said required the removal of an intact, adjacent tooth, along with the base of the tooth I needed to have re-cemented. I didn't realize until after the work was completed, that all I really needed was what I came to have them do - for about $70. What I ended up with, was 2 false teeth that fall out while I'm eating, and an additional round trip, which cost around $2,000, and a $650 dental fee. For $500 more, I could have had the requested work, with 2 small cavities taken care of, locally. The irony was that, on my 1st of 2 flights, I gave 2 very interested people a rave review of the clinic. The 2 trips, of 8 and 10 years ago saved me roughly $30,000, over what I would have paid in Montana. This time, I would have been glad to pay the additional amount for the work locally, and saved 6 days of grueling travel (flight, car rental, hotel and meals, plus the ripoff). There are many other good dentists in Tijuana- try calling them. It will take some time, with the nature and frequency of dental work, for Washington Dental to drop to 2 stars or lower, but they're on their way.

Washington Dental is a very compatible dentist. When I was almost feeling pressured to just accept a high bite, Chris the translator came in and said, do not settle for anything unless it’s 100% comfortable for you. He shared his own experience and encouraged me to do whatever it takes to make a comfortable bite in the long run. I came away feeling like these people care for their patients. I cannot be more pleased with my experience at Washington Dental Clinic. The staff was friendly and communicative every step of the way. When I was searching for a dental clinic I found this one and was able to email them and get a quote for the services I wanted the same day I emailed them. Services ($780 total) 1 root canal 1 filling 3 extractions 1 crown 3 prescriptions for aftercare taxi back to my hotel and a deep cleaning They accepted my US employer's FSA debit card without issue. Very foreigner friendly with English speaking staff and patient coordinators to be with you every step of the way. They offered to pay for a taxi back to the border for me but I was staying at a hotel so they paid for my taxi there. I worked with Dr. Mendoza and the patient coordinator J. P. Duarte. Both of whom were amazing

I had two or three root canal several crowns and a bridge on my upper right side as far as I remember this was 2005 all of their work was done quickly , painlessly , and professionally , recently I went to NYU dental school who removed a few of the crowns as well as one bridge extracted 2 teeth which was necessary but all the other work wasn't I had no pain nor where they loose, then I went back to the school who worked on everything but replacing my back chewing teeth the temporary all put holes in my cheek and even after asking him to fix them they didn't so I'm taking all my dental needs back to Washington dental I hope nothing has changed there since I had to live back in New York and deal with new York pure bullshit , ps I tried several other new York dentists , none of which would consider doing my work . Even though they claim to take my dental insurance , which I'll be happy to pay Washington dental prices , the in network ny dentist wouldn't even offer co pays and some hung up on me and wouldn't answer my calls...I can't get there till the end of April but I can't wait??

Made call Monday morning & spoke with Edgar. He was super kind & helpful. I made an appointment for Tuesday morning. First time in TJ but was EZ PZ. Dr Ruiz was my dentist. Very gentle & quick & thorough. Had to get 4 crowns. Got the top shelf ones & a night guard for $1850. Would have paid $4000+ stateside. Go back for my permanent crowns in a week. Highly recommend Washington Dental!!! Adding more after my return trip. My teeth look fantastic! They spent lots of time with me to be sure my bite was perfect before setting them & I still was on my way in less than 2 hours!!

I really thought this was a great dentist and even recommended them to others. I recently found out that all 3 crowns I had done have to be replaced. One of them was seated incorrectly and food is getting trapped underneath and the other 2 crowns that were next to each other had a gap left in between that now allows a cavity to grow in between them. Now I have to pay double to get them replaced.

Best Dentist experience. They honored their 2 year warranty on the crowns. The staff is very helpful and nice. They pay for the taxi to and from the office which a nice perk. They have a nice waiting room with a big tv and free beverages.

I was quoted $7,500 for a dental implant in San Diego. Since I had a friend who had had major work done in Tijuana, I accompanied him to Washington Dental to get more information. Seven months later, I had gotten my implant done and paid less than 25% what I was quoted. Typically, work here is 50 to 70% less than in the US. The clinic caters to Americans; about 95% of the 600-800 patients they see monthly are from the US. I was immediately impressed with how clean it is and how efficiently run. Most of the staff are bilingual, and they have administrators, like JP in my case, that explain everything and hand hold you through the whole process. After walking across the border, there is a specific cab stand where the taxi takes you directly to the clinic. The clinic pays the cab ride both ways (I tipped $2 each ride). While they do not do orthodontic work, they recommend an orthodontist that works nearby, Dr. Denisse Elizondo. Washington Dental has eight dentists (I had Dr. Ramirez) and the precision in which the staff works is remarkable. Easily the only issue about utilizing Washington Dental is the crossing back into the US, unless you have a Sentri pass. My returns ranged from 30 minutes to an hour and 20 minutes. Parking on the US side was usually $11, more on Fridays. If you need crowns, extractions, bridges or an implant, I would certainly recommend contacting Washington Dental!

I’m writing this review to express my disappointment with the lack of customer service and accountability at this clinic. I understand that they no longer offer medical passes for basic checkups or dental cleanings, and I’m not asking for an exception in those cases. However, my frustration comes from their failure to provide a pass as promised during my mom’s dental implant process. My mom required five visits for her dental implants, and we were told that on the day of her surgery, we would receive a medical pass to use the fast lane to cross back into the U.S. Unfortunately, on the surgery day, we didn’t receive one due to a “system issue.” While I was upset, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, expecting that they would address this during the follow-up visit. To my surprise, they didn’t provide a pass during the follow-up visit either, despite the system being functional and them knowing they failed to provide one previously. It’s basic customer service to try to make up for a past mistake, but this clinic clearly doesn’t prioritize patient convenience or trust. If you’re considering this clinic and rely on medical passes for quicker border crossings, be warned that their promises might not align with their actions. It’s disappointing to see a place with such poor follow-through and lack of basic customer service skills.

I went to Washington Dental in 2012 for a root canal. The American guy there translated the work that needed to be done saying I needed to pull 2 molars and put bridges in I spent $3.000. 00 american dollars for this dental work. They put so much novacaine with shots that I couldn't even talk they ground my teeth changing my bite. The next day I was in so much pain agony. They made my upper lower face all sucked in if I could of filed a lawsuit against them I would of being Mexico you can't. A good honest dentist will tell you you should never pull teeth not unless there beyond having a root canal or falling out. Your teeth are bone in your jawline. All I needed was a root canal and all Washington Dental wanted was my money. I'm so disappointed with my face from this horrible dental work they did. The only way to repair my jawline now is too pay in the thousands for bone marrow transplanting where the molars they pulled. Prior to this unfortunate and costly painfull experience I had bueatiful teeth never needed braces. I was very handsome and now don't care too look at myself in the mirror. Don't be fooled by appearance or office there the worst.

Our experience at Washington Dental was excellent in every way! JP explained everything via email prior to our trip to Tijuana. He gave great information for walking over the border and advised about where to park, get a taxi or shuttle ,etc. There are several options for getting to the clinic which is helpful when the border crossing has long wait times. The office is clean and modern, everyone was very friendly and they are so efficient! There were several (if not the majority) staff that spoke English. The procedures and pricing was thoroughly explained and the dental work was completed right away! Such a different (BETTER) experience than dentists in the states! Highly recommend Washington Dental!

Me and my family and friends have been coming here for over 15 years. Best experience ever, and my teeth have never looked better. We have gotten crowns, implants, root canals, and even teeth cleaning. They also give you a medical pass to go in the special new medical lane to cross back over into San Diego at San Ysidro. English speaking staff, safe & secure parking, and they will even pay for your taxi if that’s the route you want to go. Dr. Guererro and Dr. Corona, who we’ve always used are fantastic, and it’s a very easy process and no appointment needed.

I had all my teeth pulled at this clinic, I really didn't have a choice, even here was too expensive for me to have my teeth fixed. The dentist was brutal pulling my teeth out, I've had teeth pulled before, it was nothing like this, after the brutal experience, I was given my $1.500 dentures, said within a week I could eat solid food, wasn't true, I ate soup for a month, well they sent me out the door bleeding profusely, I went back in to ask for a cup, later I discovered a piece of tooth lodged in my upper gum, went back to have it removed, you think they would at least look for other pieces of teeth still lodged elsewhere in my gums, but they didn't, months passed, then I discovered another larger piece of tooth lodged in my lower gum that I still have to this day, now I have to go to a dentist clinic to have x-rays done to see if have anymore fragments of teeth inside my gums, another thing was why were my first (temporary) dentures more expensive then my second set, that didn't donde on me till later, my wife had to replace a crown, but later she kept biting the inside of her mouth where they replaced her crown, she went back, they supposedly fixed it, but it continued, she finally went somewhere else, it got fixed. I had a friend who took his daughter there for some extensive dental work, she later had problems as well, she never went back, she also went elsewhere. In conclusion, I spent a lot of money for very poor quality service, I will never recommend anyone to this dental clinic.

It would have taken me 1 1/2 years here in the states to get all the work that I had done in 1 week! I am super super happy with the results! I was reluctant to get my teeth done in Washington Dental Clinic at first . But after talking with JP, the excellent coordinator, I felt more comfortable and got an awesome job done by Doctor Mendoza . The whole clinic is clean , new equipments, professional work , friendly staffs … way different than many dental offices in US . I got some implants, many crowns and very happy with my smile now . Wow, you will not be any nicer people than the people that work here. It is extremely clean and make sure you have plenty of cold water, cold sodas to drink at all time the girls upfront are pleasant and happy all the time you walk in the restrooms you could eat off the floor. George is one of the Medical hand on to help you with your dental needs. Fantastic work by the Washington clinic crew. All of the staff are very friendly. Very satisfied with the work. My wife had 2 implants and crowns for a fraction of the cost in the US. JP is the coordinator and he was very helpful. They provide the taxi service to and from the border. You will not be disappointed and will wish the American dentist were like these guys. You’ll even get a 3 year guarantee certificate ( I never got one of those from a US dentist). Super great experience

THE WORST EXPERIENCE ‼️? 1. I felt very uncomfortable because when I was lying down the dentist put his tool on my breasts all the time, having a table of his work tools. When I was lying down, I felt harassed. Apart from this, it is a lack of professionalism and respect that the type of doctor puts his tool on top of my breasts, apart from having a table of tools and an assistant. 2. I came out with my tongue cut about the size of a rice, my wound on my tongue was 3. The cleaning lasted 5 minutes and was a deep cleaning 4. it hurt a lot before and after 5. It's been two months since half of my tongue is asleep and they keep saying it's normal Pay 500 dlls for a BADLY DONE AND HARASSMENT service!!

Got some work done on upper front teeth about a week ago here. I was the first one there in the morning, coming from the American side. First this that I noticed when the people that work there was showing up was the appreciation and respect that they all had for one another. Chris did the work that was needed and all were very professional. I've got my smile back and I left the place feeling like I totally got my money's worth. I'd refer Washington to anyone. All around great experience and to the whole crew there thank you very much.

I got complete upper and lower with implants with absolutely no insurance, for at very least, 15k less than I would have in the States with insurance. Dental work in the US is way too expensive, and completely out of control! If you haven’t checked these guys out first, then you are getting fleeced by doing it in the States.

I came down here after my stateside dentist told me I needed a root canal and that it would be 3 weeks until he could do it. I didn't want to be in pain that long so I called Washington Dental. They told me I could walk in without an appointment and they would do it then. I showed up early on Saturday, everyone I talked to spoke English. They got me in and did x-rays, did the full evaluation and then did the root canal. They did a very professional job and I felt no pain. They put in the temporary crown and I returned the next Saturday for the permanent crown. the prices were very good, published on their website. The root canal and crown were $800 and they threw in a free cleaning. They didn't take insurance, but it was still cheaper than if I had used my insurance for the same work from my regular dentist. Dr Vasquez was great. I highly recommend her and Washington Dental.

I had such an amazing experience at this dental office. I was in excruciating dental pain, and they saw me the same day I called in. The service here is unmatched! They are also conscious about the materials they use in your mouth, which is a big plus!

Mexico border horrible cops extort bribe on Saturday on feb 10 2024. We went to the dental clinic and on the way back to USA being on line to the border the border worker " or making himself like it" stopped us for claiming wrong crossing the lines , and wanted bribe or claimed our car will be towed away and he will called the police. We had only $20 cash, of course he wanted more. Mexico police came soon and continued same scaring us stories. Finally we pulled the passports of the policeman hand (realizing its a scam and we made misfortune to give them) and that was the scary moment knowing we deal with the police mafia fully armed, using the power to do illegal business. After long 30 min arguing they let us go, with ought a towing and a ticket (as there was no reason to give one). Very scary and nerve wracking situation and as dentist visit was very good and professional, than this situation was horrible. So maybe dentist clinic will find a way to protect theirs clients, by escorting them to the border or will make a deal with their corrupted mexican police to protect the clients....otherwise is so scary to go there and you think twice before deciding to use your services. With a bribe to the police the dentist treatment is no cheeper at all and takes a lot of time and stress. We didn't give one but right after we start the car, they stoped another white faces. They just replaced two crowns with one root canal. I have had root canals in the past. This was Top Notch care! They were true professionals in every sense! I will go here again. I parked in the USA and walked across the border to a taxi waiting for Washington Dental patients. They paid both directions for the taxi. The taxi stand at the border said "Washington Dental" on the sign. Super easy and safe! Two crowns $825 Root canal $350 penicillin $15 $1190. I left Capistrano Beach at 8:00 am I was back at 2:00 PM. That included my drive to the border, parking, two border crossings, two taxis, and the appointments. I was taken care of from the border and back to the border. I recommend this !

We went there based on some recommendations last year , the place looks shady to say the least , we didn’t know who was a dentist and who was something else, they don’t provide accurate information and when requested information about a permanent implant they comeback with a form to sign which stated ( if the implant fails you have to pay again for the implant) that was weird, also once you’re there any dental part has to be brought from someplace else , I was not aware if they have the part and you don’t show that day , they will denied service without explanation, ( they don’t take appointments) that part is very unprofessional, is not a regular dental service,

Five stars for integrity. I went in because my US dentist wanted $3k for 3 crowns. I had no pain or sensitivity so I wanted a second opinion and a lower price. The staff here saw me almost immediately, did an exam and X-rays, looked at the specific teeth my dentist had noted, and found nothing wrong. Nada! I figured since they paid for my cab to the clinic and charged me $0, I at least owed them the time to write this review. Thank you Dr. Miranda and Mr. Duarte for your honesty and for just being nice humans. I'll be back for my regular cleaning.

I went with a terrible toothache, super swollen cheek. Doc Guevara took care of me and if I could give him 10 stars I would! He extracted my tooth in no time, I didn't even realize it. I also had another procedure done while I was there. The Doctor along with his assistants did an excellent job, what I also liked was that they played low volume music and that helped me distract myself since I am very nervous. Everything is very clean, organized and very attentive to their clients. The medicines are very well explained how to take them, they put instructions on the boxes. They speak super fluent English for those who come from the US, and from what I saw many come. You won't regret coming here. Thank you Doc Guevara for making my visit pleasant.

I was referred by a real estate broker from Florida. I forgot to ask her the name of the dentist who she saw. I was happy to see that it was very clean. However, I paid to have work that had been started in the US. They said they had the piece that connected to implant. I believe that they did not. So they used glue instead. Implant piece has fallen 2 times. I paid over $1000! I have a certificate that expires this month they guaranteed the work for 2 years. Every time I call it’s already closed. I know the owner reads the reviews and only replies to good reviews. I hope he replies to this review and makes things right. I am running out of time

I got a quote in the states and it was scary expensive. It popped into my head to try Mexico. Tijuana was closest so i made some calls to at least 20 places. Washington Dental struck me as the one to go with and the price was cheaper than the US enough to justify it. They provided me an english speaking contact who walked me through the whole thing. I flew to San Diego, Ubered to the border and taxied to the clinic. 5 round trips later my teeth have been perfect! 3 of those visits were easy but 2 were definitely intense. No appointments was odd, you just show up! Clean and professional = YES. Recommended!

A neighbor recommended Washington Dental as providing great service and very affordable prices. After receiving an estimate from a US dentist ofc for $13K+ we decided to give them a try. They exceeded our expectations, saving us 2/3 on our bill, and the staff was very friendly and professional. The clinic was spotless, almost everyone from the front desk to the dentist spoke great English and the equipment was modern and sanitized.. Almost every client was from US. They presented us our options without any pressure. My Wife and I both ended up getting multiple crowns. Temporary were installed that day with final crowns being down 1 week later. I would recommend Washington Dental to anyone who needs Dental work. Going back and forth to Tijuana you do need a Passport. Tijuana has some great restaurants to enjoy while you're down there.

I had an implant and crown done here. While I was here I met the wife of a retired US dentist. They had come down from S Cal to get her teeth taken care of. The techs and dentists explain everything they’re doing. If you need 3D X-rays or other outsourced services they drive you there and back so you don’t have to worry about anything. No additional stress because hey you’re already at the dentist. Highly recommend.

I wanted to take a minute to give a shout out to the staff, the dentists, hygienists and translators at Washington Dental Clinic Being someone who has never had a good experience at the dentist both in childhood and as an adult my experience was beyond anything I could really put into words. Because of that I have put off going to the dentist for way longer than I should have... My experience was so good when having an old crown removed and a deep cleaning 2 weeks ago that on my return my husband decides to come with me. He too had an amazing experience. An added bonus: When you have any medical treatment done dental or otherwise in México you can request a medical pass to cross the boarder. The medical pass got us across the boarder in 10 min instead of the usual 2-5 hrs or longer on the weekend. My experience here was a nightmare. Unfortunately I believed the ratings I read. I told them what I wanted done and they not only didn't do what needed to be done but they filed my good teeth down to sharp points. I have since gone to several dentists in the states and the minimum cost to fix the damage is going to be $30000. Granted the prices they charge in the states is criminal, but if I had to do it all over I would never have taken my chances in tj. It's a shame you can't go by reviews, they just pay a company to have them buried.

Yesterday was not a good day. 30 minutes after waking up I broke one of my front teeth in half by biting into a piece of dried mango.....that was in the fridge all night so must have hardened too much. So before I had my tea or breakfast I was already 100% AWAKE. After calling around a few places I decided to give Washington Dental a try. They have both Spanish and English speakers who answer the phones. I was told I could come in right away. Got there waited maybe 30 minutes before I had my free evaulation which includes Xrays. Afterwards they tell you the results and give you a price. Fair Enough. I needed a root canal , post, and crown. The root canal was like $250 I think then I had the choice of porcelin or zirconia crowns with zirconia being a lot more expensive but more durable. I chose zirconia and with everything paid up front it was $750 with a $50 discount for paying up front. The procedure was done with a local anesethetic . I felt nothing. I left with a temporary crown and I go back Tues for the permanent one. I was very pleased with the service both in the chair and at the reception desk. I see no reason to not return. Thank You

I have been waiting here for thirty eight minutes trying to be seen and no one is helping me. I don’t know what happened to the customer service here. Was finally seen 45 minutes later and I go in the examination room and they had Kelly Sullivan chart up on the screen. I am not Kelly Sullivan, I am Kenneth Sullivan. What has happened to Washington dental clinic? Okay things are going better after a rough start. Edgar finally became available to me and smoothed things over for me. So the stars going from 1 to 3 stars.i still have a bone spur in my top palette that needs smoothed down. I told the dentist about the protruding part of the tooth but it was not filed down yet. I have been in treatment at WD over the past nine months. Implants, bone graft, tooth extraction and cleaning. Joel has been my facilitator. My experience from my initial consultation with Joel to the work performed as described above has been nothing short of professional, courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. I broke a tooth and needed to be seen urgently. It can be difficult to make an urgent appointment as a new patient, I called a competitor of Washington Dental and was offered an appointment two days later, even after explaining that I was in excruciating pain. Walked in to Washington Dental, was seen by a dentist within 10 minutes, and received excellent, professional care. My experience here was far better than many of my previous dental visits in the States. The process of taking a cab (paid for by Washington Dental) from and back to the border was seamless. I highly recommend this dental practice and will be returning for all my dental needs for myself and my daughter.

My husband and I came in and were very happy with our new smiles! The dentists were kind, patient and talented. My husband needed his entire mouth done (he's from the UK where dentistry is non-existent). All of his teeth have Zirconia veneers and he also needed one implant. I have new zirconia veneers, top and bottom. They look completely normal and not fake. I was afraid of the temporaries, as they did look fake and too thick. I have to fix my teeth with other clinic after I did my teeth filling here two months ago. Other clinic doctor said he did not clean properly, left hole and decay continued. I pain all the time. Specially my root canal I did from here is infections?I have to fix it too. He didn't do properly for root canal. He didn't finish complete root canal and left another one root with very bad contamination. I cloud lost my teeth and do retreatment for root canal with different clinic and pay more money for this treatment. I did three treatments, all of them were infected and I lost one tooth. This dentist has very bad aseptic techniques. How can we trust dentist here when the results come out like this. It wasn't free We paid money.

I was very timid about coming across the border to have dental work. I had an estimate from a US based dentist to have a lot of aggressive work done. I came to Washington dental telling them what I expected to have done and they instead recommended a more conservative treatment. They could have made more money off me doing what the San Diego dentist recommended but they chose to do what they felt I actually needed. The crown and root canal I had was painless and the permanent crown is the perfect shade and fit. I had two fillings replaced as well all in the same visit. They have a cab waiting right as you pass border control that takes you five minutes to the clinic and returns you. I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. Dr. Espinoza did all my work and was very professional. The level of English here is phenomenal as well and comforting.

I had over 3k worth of work done here about 3 years ago. 3 days ago everything they did crumbled and broke apart. I don't have 4 to 8 weeks to get a passport to go back. Honestly, I don't think I would go back after the whole experience and time it takes to get there.

Washington dental is hands down the best.... Past year my wisdom teeth have been given me pain here and there, finally decided to go to Washington dental since I don't have dental insurance currently. Now I'm a small business owner and had a government position as well with benefits that were consider "good". In the US they wanted to charge me $600-$1000 to remove my top wisdom teeth w/insurance, once I left my government position to go full time with my small business I needed dental work done. Did my research and decided on this facility. Never going anywhere else....Walked in at 8:30a was out by 9:45a without an appointment .... That's unheard of here in the states without an appointment. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, no up-selling and they treat you as if you've been going there for years. I paid $230 (plus meds) to get my wisdom teeth removed, a $400 savings!!! And time saved as well. If you're debating whether to go here or not, this is your sign to give them a try.

This dental office is Amazing!!! They are very professional, clean, honest, and affordable. I first took my son who does not have dental insurance about 4 years ago. He was in pain and they could have taken us for money at that time but they told us we do not see any cavities but he can use a teeth cleaning which he did, later on it ended up being canker sores which. 3 years ago I took my daughter who does have insurance but was being charged over $5,000 from some dental work. When we went there they told us she did not need the work that they had told us she needed here in the US. Lastly we went there a month ago for my sister and my son both needed extensive work and they were very affordable. I definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. When you leave they give you a medical pass so you can get through the border fast if you drive there, or you can walk across the border and ask a taxi or Uber driver to take you there and they pay for it and pay for the Uber driver to take you back to the border. I wish I could give them a 100 STARS

Went with a friend who swears by this place for teeth cleaning. Basically spent $40 for a ten minute tooth scrubbing with a gritty paste. Yes, I don't have plaque build up or gum inflammation, but this was far less treatment than I have ever received anywhere else. I am accustomed to closer to 30 minutes for treatment. Maybe the dental services are better, but the teeth cleaning is not worth the wait or the price.

I have been going there for years the prices are great the only place I could find in honest dentist. Last week I went there things have changed a lot more white people there and the prices tripled tripled from the last cleaning I had. I'd. Also I was told I needed a deep cleaning which took a total of about 9 minutes. That was just to mark the price up.Also they wanted to pull a tooth . I'm holding off on the tooth pulling. Appears they have turned in too American dental clinic. A friend of mine went there too and told me the same experience. I understand they have to make money but I dont wantmy teeth pulled if I don't need them pulled. Time will tell, I did not trust them to pull my teeth after the uncharge on cleaning. I hope They return to their old policy we'll see.

At first I had to find a dentist in TJ not having dental insurance. A taxi recommend me to this location. I was going to this place more than 12 years. About 8 years ago I was getting serious migraine headaches I paid so much for Dr appointments, ER visit, medication and finally a neurologist. My aunt told go to a dentist it might be your teeth I was able to find another place one I got a check up. The dentist told me where I got my teeth work on. I told them here in TJ at Washington dental. He was in shock he told me they did a awful job. My crowns where to big for my mouth and the root canals don’t get me started. All the pressure from the crowns was causing my migraine headaches. Later this 2 weeks went to start my new work well my dentist was looking at the X-ray picture he told me that they didn’t killed the root and cause to get a redo and didn’t put pole which I had no idea I needed them before getting a crown place it again. I spend $$$$$ of money to fix them and they mess up my jaw bite and gave me a serious infection at a point I was getting migraine headaches going to a new dentist less than 2 weeks no headaches but now I need to start a extremely antibiotic medication cause of the work they did at Washington dental. Be aware Do NOT came here they are going to make you spend more money. Myself and family had to change this location for a better one and I blessed for my New dentist in TJ that he is going to fix it and help me with my migraine headaches that I been having for 8 years. Just cause you see the reviews do your homework.

A friend of Mine referred me to this Clinic. Not a great experience. I got home and one if the teeth they fixed broke. I went all the way back to Mexico, paid another $400, supposedly for a better product, And that broke. Not happy and I feel like I got robbed. Do not make the same mistake I did! Do not go here! The person who referred me here had a similar experience.

Got referred by a friend to this TJ clinic and its awesome! Great staff, speak English, and very affordable! They are very attentive to their patients. Got a deep cleaning done for $40 the first time then a regular cleaning for $20 six months later. GF got 2 crowns and an implant done for $1100. NOTE: Cross the border and grab a taxi, its a quick 5 min drive to the clinic. The clinic will come out and pay for the taxi. Once done they will get you a taxi back to the border. They don't take appointments just a heads up. But great experience and I now have referred a handful of people down there who have had a great experience.

This originally was a 5 star review, but 10 months after my original procedure (root canal and crown) I developed an awful tooth infection. I returned to Washington Dental for a fix, they told me that there was nothing wrong. Instead, I had to go to a dentist in the states, who told me that yes, there was an infection, and it had reached my sinus. At this point it was too far gone and the tooth needed to be removed. What could have been a simple root canal at any other dentist turned into an extraction because of poor materials used during the procedure and an incomplete root canal (according to a dentist in San Diego). This place may be good for simple cleanings, but after my experience I wouldn't do anything more than that.

First I would like to say my first experience here was good. Although I did not have anything Major done. If I were posting on my second experience , I would give one star. I needed (?) a crown. When I returned to have it put on , a nightmare began that ended 90 minutes later. Putting a crown ON should Not take more than 15 minutes. I kept asking if they had My crown. But the 'work' continued on and on. I have No idea what was being done as I am an English only speaker. At the Very end , the dentist said he wanted to re-do it. ? Another dentist came in to say it could be done another time. I'm not a dentist , but I'm fairly sure you fit the crown to the tooth and not the tooth to the crown. My opinion is he should have stopped one of the many times I asked what the problem was. Today , the crown has fallen off due to a poor fit that caused decay underneath causing the crown to come off. I am hoping they will do the honorable thing and refund my charges , so I can get it properly done elsewhere.

I would take my son here for treatments but stopped......They rush the work alot so I switched to another dental office down the street and they are phenomenal....I liked that they paid your cab fare here but you have to ask for it when heading back to the border or they will pretend to ignore you.... lol...The dentists are fine but they're so many more better and qualified dentists in TJ than the ones in this location.

I was first introduced to Washington Dental in 2018 when an elderly friend needed some dental work and my husband and I accompanied her so she wouldn't have to go alone. (Her husband had recently died.) My husband and I decided to get a cleaning while we there and from that point forward we have never went anywhere else! (With the exception of 2020 when the border was closed and we couldn't walk over.) I am consistently impressed with the level of cleanliness, professionalism, skill, and honesty that the staff displays at Washington Dental. I am blessed with "good teeth" and never need fillings. But my husband, even though his personal dental hygiene is better than mine, has genetically bad teeth. He has gotten crowns from other dentists in the past and the price was through the roof, and the quality was not great. But Washington Dental gives him the perfect balance of affordable and quality. Their honesty is one thing I want to quickly address. Recently my husband was convinced he needed a new crown. We visited Washington Dental and after a thorough exam the dentist told him he didn't need a crown just a deep cleaning. I was so impressed because the dentist could have easily said he needed a crown and we would have gladly payed for it. But their philosophy is to give you the dental care you actually NEED. In summary, we love the staff, we love the care and recently brought my husband's parents with us to Washington Dental and they were extremely impressed with the care and professionalism they received.

I went to this clinic as an alternate place because my regular TJ dentist and his own associate would not be able to see me on a last minute notice, it was a Friday evening and I was half way there driving from Redonso Beach. Hesitantly, based only on reviews, I decided to get their services first thing Saturday morning, they advised me I did not need n appointment because they have nine destiny working at the clinic. Being Rut I was unfamiliar with their service, very quickly I became very pleasantly surprised at the level of service they provided. They are extremely well orgmnized. Starting with the fact that a very knowledgeable technician named Edgar was available all through out my visit, honesty answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns, I actually learned so much even before I met the actual doctor! When doctor Corona arrived and took the X-ray he was equally pleasant and briefly explained my specific situation, Dr. Corona steppe out and Edgar returned to go into kk the details about the reasons why my molar had to be removed, the time frame to consider doing it including how they could (but only if I wanted) get a replacement implant. During kk this time I never felt pushed to do anything or pressured to decide what I wanted to do. All in all everyone there was very nice but the best part came when after getting a deep cleaning, done by a very skilled young lady, Dr. Corona promptly returned and removed the molar WITHOUT ME FEELING ANY PAIN WHATSOEVER, in fact I had to ask if the tooth had come out already, that’s how gentle Dr. Corona was!!! I learned the clinic has been in existence for about 40 years and the experience level of their personnel is truly great Though I was dreading the experience because I did not know this clinic, it turned out to be totally the contrary, a perfect dentist experience. I am going back in three weeks for a bone graph and a few months later for an implant. By the way I am 60 years of age now so the preservation of my teeth is that much more important. I have been coming to Washington dental for six years and I am absolutely thrilled with every experience I have had there…. The first thing is it is absolutely spotless… Cleaner than most clinics I have been in in the United States… Customer service is amazing from the minute you walk into the door with the friendly staff at the front desk to the concierge service and the wonderful gentleman that help with any kind of translation you might need… They explain what needs to be done and why in very simple terms and never do you feel like they are overcharging or gouging or doing work that shouldn’t be done…thanks to them I have a mouthful of beautiful teeth that I wouldn’t be able to afford in the states (it’s bout 1/3rd of what you pay here)…I have taken many family and friends down and they all been equally impressed… Drive down to H Street exit ..jump on the trolley …cross the border and the taxi stand is at the end of the walkway and The clinic pays for your taxi ride there and back it’s that easy…My brother-in-law flew in from Vegas and had a set of gorgeous dentures made in one day… It’s that simple and safe!!!!

Worst experience ever!!! Made tooth somewhat small, very uneven color—doesn’t not match my own by FAR, had to listened to their very unprofessional conversations while they worked on me; and their jokes. Yes, the place was clean, sanitary cautions in place, they speak English, but the price I paid for my tooth was not much different from what I would of paid in the USA. Now, if any problems with it, I would have to cross the border to have it fixed, not worth it after al!!

My latest procedure with this group was a dental implant and I can tell you that there was absolutely no complications from start to finish. There is no other place I would recommend and with the size of my family, I’ve been to quite a few places. Their facility is clean. State of the art technology and a very warm and welcoming presence from start to finish. No hype sales or lies. They’ll give you the truth weather you like it or not. The office is very convenient and worked with the time frame I had. Everyone was also very friendly. Unfortunately I can not say the same about the services received. 2 months after getting a crown the crown fell out while using a water flosser. During those 2 months there was overwhelming discomfort while eating and I had to take medication for the pain. I went to the dentist in the states and they informed me that the crown they put in my mouth was too big and it was affecting my bite which can ultimately shift the rest of my teeth. I spent $600 dollars on the crown so I wanted them to try and fix the crown and recement the crown which they were able to do at the cost of $130. I now have to get the tooth and crown fully removed because there is too much discomfort while eating and I do not want this to affect my other teeth. I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND GOING TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE! I called their office to explain what happened and they were not able to help me or tell me why this happened. Some sort of compensation should have resulted from their mistake. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Dear Dr. Mendoza and staff, I recently had such a positive experience at Washington Dental that I feel compelled to share my experience with anyone who may be finding themselves in my position? More specifically, having had some problems recently with my teeth that required treatment by a qualified professional dentist. First, I want to make readers aware that I am a US resident who has never before traveled to Mexico in search of less expensive dental work. I decided, however, to take my chances and settled on Dr. Mendoza’s office and I’m sure happy that I did! I was treated like a VIP. In fact, Washington Dental paid for a cab that picked me up and later after my treatment was completed, dropped me off at the border for my return home to the states. All office staff is English speaking so there were never any communication obstacles. I had a number of procedures done including the following: a deep cleaning, a root canal, and a crown. Surprisingly, only 3 days were required from start to finish. Dr. Mendoza made sure all needed resources would be accessible in a very timely manner. This also saved me money as I had a shorter hotel stay as a consequence. FYI, I might mention that ideally, it is best to stick to weekdays I learned as there are not nearly as many people out and about as you travel the border, etc. As such it is much easier that way. And I recall that rates are much lower for hotels, as well as, the airlines. In summary, the total costs at Washington Dental were certainly less than what a US dentist would charge. I will not hesitate to visit Washington Dental in the future should the need arise. I highly recommend this office, Washington Dental, to anyone who is wondering if they should travel to Mexico in search of more affordable dentistry - the answer is yes! My Dentist is the USA said my molar was fractured and it could not be saved, I made an appointment for extraction (pulling it). I remembered the good Work I have had at Washington Dental in the Past so I canceled my appointment and headed to Tijuana. Doctor Corona saved my Tooth (Molar) and had me set for a Crown.(At an affordable price) Thank You Washington Dental (Ask for JP he speaks English)

My experience wasn't very good. I wanted it to be good. They preformed 3 root canals at the same day. That part was done very well. Came back a few weeks later. My crowns didn't fit well. 2 weeks later 1 crown crumbled. The second one was too big and crumbled an existing crown right above it. Now you can see the metal fitting. He shaved down one of teeth to make the crown fit. Guess what, now that tooth has a cavity now and I need a root canal. So I need 1 rootcanal and two new crowns. They charged me 2300 dollars. Will not be back unless they fix their mistakes.

This place sure took care of me when my HMO fell short. They removed my extractions in very little time, and I was on my way. the staff is very professional. The office is very clean and paid and refunded my taxi cab ride over there. Customer service is their top priority. I would highly recommend this dentist to everyone.

I brought my brother to Washington dental in desperation. He needed so much dental work we didn’t know what we were going to do. His teeth are beautiful now but better yet he has no pain!!! The service was amazing too!! The quote I got from his dentist to just pull the teeth and prep his mouth for crowns and implants, for just 10% more He got all the work done including crowns and implants. And they look great!

I enjoyed as much as possible my dental visit. Tijuana is nothing like I expected. I am from northern California near San Francisco. I regularly visit a doctor in San Francisco. TIJUANA IS MUCH CLEANER AND MUCH MORE PLEASANT THEN SAN FRANCISCO. YES IT IS UNBELIEVABLY CLEAN AND SINCE THE COVID UNCROWDED!!! IT WAS PROBABLY LIKE BEING IN TIJUANA IN THE EARLY 1950s when I visited recently in early August 2020! When you enter many of the shops you are sprayed with sanitizer mist then bathed in UV light Ray's, they have it totally sanitized. My concierge J.P. was a perfect host explaining everything to me meticulously and presenting many options. I had the same dentist in silicon valley for nearly 20 years, I was very happy. But since I retired the cost is just too much. The EXACT SAME CROWN , AND , SORRY TO SAY U.S A., HYPERDILIGENT ATTENDANCE TO DETAIL AND QUALITY I RECEIVED IN MEXICO IS A NO BRAINER!!! THANK YOU DR. I had the worst experience here ! I am forever traumatized after going to the dentist here. I was not explained right what was going to happen in my procedure I had no idea that my teeth were going to be shave to little knubs this was two months ago and I cry everyday for my teeth they could of just told me I was a candidate for implant and not destroy my healthy teeth a real dentist that cares about their patient will go ahead and sit down and talk to you and explained the dr that help me out literally came in did xrays rush the whole process I was literally with my mouth open For two hours then he tells me I like to do my work fast. I ended up not going back to finish my work they then didn’t return to me the money that was supposed to be refunded from not finishing with them they said I had to pay the doctor 600,dollars for he’s time after I had already paid 2,400 they are expensive I might as well had gotten my work in San Diego. This place destroy my self esteem I can’t even smile no more. They want to do the easiest and fast way and get their money that’s all they care about. Wish I would of really done my research and gone to a private office dentist not somewhere were they’ throw u a random dr I question myself was he was he even a dentist he’s professionalism. this was almost 8 years ago so they may have improved but this was my honest to god experience with them i finally got around to leaving my review after paying to have everything they did replaced One of the biggest mistakes of my entire life. I came here because i hadn't been to a dentist in many many years, i needed 2 root canals and 2 wisdom teeth removed along with a decent amount of cavities filled. The original dentist who talked to me was a very well spoken, friendly man which initially gave me a very comforting feeling, i really should have known i was about to be conned but i guess i am a fool. to sum it up shortly, the work they did was shoddy, the materials they used as my two recent dentists have discussed have not been used in any modern practice in over 15 years, and the crowns they installed were worse than temporaries that were thinner than snot, put on incorrectly with massive gaps where everything would get stuck in, and neither one of them lasted more than 2 years and had to be replaced. When it came time to do the work, in walk in 2 obviously inexperienced dental school students who did not even speak one word of english. I can speak some spanish but not enough to really talk about acute dental pain or medical procedures. I definitely should have walked out right when i got that sinking feeling in my stomach like i had walked into a trap. i had to stop them 3 times because of the incredible amounts of pain they were putting me in, terrible anesthetization, and i have an insane pain tolerance level, like breaking bones and walking home and waiting a few days type of tolerance. I had to continuously walk into the lobby and get the guys attention since as i noted before, these two workers did not understand ANY english. I understand i am in a tijuana office but since they definitely specialize in tourism i would have expected at least a tenuous grasp of conversational basics. They rushed and finished all the work in 2 days, but left me with such shoddy work that within one year i had one cap fall off, the next year the next crown fell off and the dentist that looked at them laughed at how pathetic they were. all the work had to be redone. Save yourself the money and go find a better dentist in tijuana, there are much better ones that will take the time do do a decent job.

This Establishment impressed me! -The dental work they do is so unique, painless and the prices are great. -The management and dentists communicate with us like family, and they really care about your outcome. I've had Dental work in some U.S. facilities, that were so painful and expensive that I thought I was getting a jaw transplant. -This dental clinic allows you to chat live online, and get honest quotes Via Facebook, and Instagram. And guess what...the prices are amazing. The local anesthetic shots for my procedure were so painless I was shocked!! -The dentist's are fast, and very polite. By the way, the flatscreen in the lobby is so high resolution, I couldn't believe it. -They even pay for your taxi, and it's waiting for you by the time you're done. Also, they don't charge a fee for Debit/credit transactions. Again I'm impressed, and have plans for more work for sure. Come here, you won't regret a thing. Thanks

It's been almost 3 months since my wife and I were in for both teeth cleaning and I got 2 crowns. They still feel great. Which means I don't feel any strangeness, and I am not aware of them. Which is perfect. :-) The whole staff was super friendly, professional and worked with our travel schedule during the holidays. It was great being able to call from the US to arrange our arrival, get a cab easy once we crossed the border for the 6 minute ride and have it paid for both ways. My wife had been going to Algadones near Yuma for dental work. Not anymore. Washington Dental is great. First time I switched from my usual dentists in Los Angeles to Washington dental in TJ. Other than the low prices, this was by far and I mean by far the best dentist experience I've had, ever. Quick, professional, courteous and genuinely caring staff. This is going to be my only go to place for all my dental work.

I’m was more than impressed with Washington Dental Clinic. The staff when you enter the clinic, the lady I talked with about my teeth, the dentist and his helpers, friendly and explained everything to the T. And then their expertise in the way they do their job was far more than I had ever experienced in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, not knocking them but they need to go and learn. And last but not least the price negotiation was very satisfying.

Asked the locals who was good Dentist as I was staying here for other matters, i got extended on my stay and knew I needed 3 crowns. They said Washington Dental. I walked in knowing my home dentist wanted $3,800 plus insurance money for 3 crowns from seeing him last week. JP the sales guy and Dr Guerrero gave me a free exam and xrays, then told me i needed 3 crowns and maybe 1 root canal before the crown done as 1 tooth was decayed under the filling. My home dentist never found the decay. $1,350 if no canal and $1650 if canal. I talked him down a little bit. i told him I did not want the canal unless mandatory. I said I need it all done in 4 days w zirconium crown, the best material. JP said must express make the crowns on site but agreed too. Guerrero, a very experienced dentist, fixed me w no canal needed and in 4 days got my crowns finished for $1,200. About 3 hours total. Going back later for my cosmetic front crowns. nice guys and honest. They sell well but no pressure. Very nice large Clinic. $1,200 cash vs $3,800 cash plus my insurance pays my home Dr. additional $1,700 ($5,500). Maybe I can get some Humana ins. reimbursement but i am way ahead anyway. Tijuana is nothing to be scared of. A lot of US propaganda to price support US high prices. Actually a nice place if you are not going there dealing with illegal drug guys. You can't go wrong w JP and Dr Guerrero.

My first visit to this office, I am impressed. I travel for a living, and my previous dentist visits were in London, ON, Saginaw, MI, and San Diego, CA. Canada being most recent. The dentist in Michigan (Aspen Dental) was horrible, rude, showed zero interest in me as a patient and put in a filling that came out a few months later while I was eating. The one in San Diego was like a used car salesman, tried to sell me implants among other unnecessary things. Canada (Southwood Dental Studio, London, ON) was an emergency visit (the filling that came out), great dentist there, but almost as expensive as USA. Washington Dental made very good recommendations as to the minimum I really need, and what I can do to improve cosmetic appearance. Their recommendations agreed 100% with those from the dentist in Canada. I did not hesitate to go for everything, my teeth have embarrassed me for a long time. I could never afford to do all that in the USA. I am looking forward to a long relationship with this dentist office. They are awesome!

I got a LOT of work done for a very reasonable price. I have never felt so comfortable in a dentist office in my life. 1. Friendliness, everyone is incredibly friendly. I think some people jobs there is simply to be friendly and explain what’s going on. 2. Cleanliness, place is super clean, from the entry to the office. 3. Speed, they pack in the work in a comfortable and responsible way. 4. My work has had 0 issues. It feeels great! Looks amazing! 5. Going to Tijuana for a weekend is awesome! My work took two trips (I still saved about $20k), first trip I stayed in TJ and Rosarito for the weekend, second trip Playas de Tijuana. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. There are a ton of vegan options in TJ. If you aren’t getting your dental care done in Tijuana- specifically at Washington dental clinic, extra specifically by the AMAZING Dr. Mendoza...I don’t know...you must have super good health care in your country, I’m from the U.S. THANK YOU WASHINGTON DENTAL CLINIC!

I am from the north bay in California and I was skeptical coming here, but now I am not. The service here is really top notch, Makes you rethink standards in the U.S, Edgar is awesome so I recommend talking to him he is the best person and highly professional. I came in for a crown and a dental implant, but they didnt just bill me into a whole bunch of procedures. They had a dentist evaluate me so I saved even more money by having a better and more affordable option. The money saved was over $5,000 and they do walk in and it is so fast and efficient. Added things they didnt need to do is pay for my taxi and give free complimentary drinks. Also they speak English here too. Also 2 year warranty.

Amazing experience!!! Went there to have a cavity on a molar dealt with. I was sure I needed a root canal and crown. After the X-ray I was informed the cavity was very deep and there was a good chance I would need the root canal and crown. A filling would only be $40 and the root canal and crown would be no more than $900. I thought to myself I know where this is going. I was prepared for the $900 bill. Dr David Mendoza decided to use a pick at the cavity to be able to sneak up on the border of the decay to hopefully not break through to the nerve. By taking that approach he was able to stay away from the nerve. Bottom line I was out of there with a filling and cleaning with a bill of $60. Wow, the integrity of this place and quality of the work and the beauty of the people was off the chart. Also, the Best Western in San Ysidro will do a round trip to the clinic and back. And the motel is wonderful. The English speaking liasons are also amazing. Shout out to, I lost his card, but it was PJ or RJ. Sorry, but he was awesome!!!

Washington dental, Tijuana. True story – Best part is at the end! Our regular family Dentist said “Time for a root canal with crown.” The idea of sitting in a dentist chair is pure torture for me! Put it off for year and a half …. Back to regular family dentist for checkup and price – root canal with crown. While voicing my thoughts about the dentist chair, someone at the local dog park said “Check out Washington Dental in Tijuana.” Washington Dental. First to reviews which are very good. Then to web site, simple with clear prices for all services. One third of the price quoted by local family dentist. OK, called their free 800 number. Phone rep was easy to talk too with no hard sell. I said “I will think about it.” Called back a week later to set up a day that worked for me. Easy parking at the border, walked across. First taxi – I said “Washington Dental” and jumped in. Friendly driver who said “Washington Dental pays the $5 fare – up to me if I would like to give a tip. He was happy with $2 tip. Arrived to Washington Dental, a staff member came out and paid the taxi then accompanied me inside. First impression, Large clinic – clean – staff well dressed. Filled out short “in take” form. A staff member talked with me to understand why I had come – answer – checkup with possible root canal / crown. He said “someone will see me shortly”, showed me the free coffee, water and soft drinks. Sat down in the waiting area and looked around. Large waiting area with about 30 chairs in front of a large TV. The clinic is very clean with well-dressed staff looking “Professional”. Went to the large bathroom, super clean with all the “dentist amenities”. Back to the waiting area, 5 minutes later was called in. Followed the rep to a room. Noticed again super clean with up to date equipment. 4 people in room – myself, Rep/ translator, dentist, assistant. Talked about why I was here then started the “examination”. The x-rays were extra quick then shown on a large screen just in front of us. High resolution very detailed. After the Rep and dentist discussed, rep said “we do not see big issue“. Dentist began tests for sensitivity, hot / cold / air and taping couple teeth with tool. More discussion and looking at x-rays. Here comes the best part…. Result, dentist says “tooth is too healthy for root canal”. He then explained that he felt the pain is coming from tooth next to it. He said there is evidence of “grinding or clenching” on top of tooth. Looking at the x-ray, he showed some inflammation under tooth, in gum not root. His recommendation…… deep cleaning, medicated mouth wash for two weeks, and perhaps night mouth guard to prevent “grinding” during sleep. Imagine my relief! I was ready, with money in pocket, for root canal and crown!!! The dental assistant did a very thorough cleaning. Then, I was off to pay at the front desk. The same rep stayed with me the whole time. Explained again the examination and result. Payment = $40 cleaning, $25 special mouth wash, passed on “mouth guard”. I said thank you very much, they said tell your friends. Then out the door to waiting taxi, rep paid taxi and said thanks for coming. I said how happy I was and off to the border. I recommend Washington Dental. Clean, professional, honest. Will take my family and tell everyone how pleased I am of their service! ----------------- Now 10 days later, being extra careful about “grinding” teeth. Pain is much less! May go back for night mouth guard and some tacos.

I didn't get any work done yet but my initial exam I was impressed. My dentists in the states don't have such a nice office as this place. The price explenation is very clear, they explained everything with no rush. No appointment needed and it is a all modern office.

Great experience. Got in quickly with no appointment. Multiple root canals and crowns. Clean and affordable and I was much more comfortable here than the other place I tried in TJ. I drive down here for all my dental work from San Diego. Not sure if my insurance will accept, but even if they don't, it's still going to be thousands cheaper than in the US. This place was recommended to me and I would gladly do the same.

Excellent service and the prices are awesome! Almost half the price you would pay in the US! You don't have to make an appointment and they will do a dental check up for free! 20 dollar teeth cleaning and off you leave your car on the US side you tell the taxi cab to take you to Washington Dental and when you get there the resceptionest comes out to pay your cab ride and they will pay your ride back to the border. If you decide to drive ask them for a fast pass to get back to the US. Location is on revelation and you. Can take a walk a shop or have lunch if you have to wait for anything to be done. My suggestion is visit "Hotel Ceasar" where they invented the Ceasar Salad! Great place to visit! ?

Doctors are good and professional but you have to watch out for the sales persons who gives you the bill they are pushing on sales and are mean and provocative if you confront them. They are only interested in selling. Over all is a good place to save money

This was my first time going to a dentist in Mexico and I was definitely a little bit nervous. I had read all the reviews of this place and based my decision to visit Washington Dental on that alone. My visit was better than I thought it would be and I will be back for sure. The staff was great! Very friendly, most spoke English and made me comfortable at all times. It's obvious this place has top quality facilities for TJ and certified dentists and a 2 year guarantee on all work. I got 2 extractions and a deep cleaning and it was $120. Don't be discourage! Do it. This place is just as good as any other dentist in America with a fraction of the cost. If you have no insurance or high deductible, I highly recommend this place. It is clean and comfortable. I would compare it to a mid-tier American dental clinic. It is walk-in clinic so no reservations needed. I went on a Sat at noon & the wait was going to be 30 minutes. Not bad. Ended up grabbing lunch for 2 hrs and came back to the clinic and they put me in a room right away. A translator comes in at the beginning of the visit so there was no issues with language barriers. My cleaning was more in-depth to most cleanings I have had in America. There are amenities as well such as Wifi, a TV, and beverages. Oh yeah, they paid for the my cab from the border and the cab back to the border. Super Easy! Try it out!

Professional, better than some American dentists I’ve been to and their English was great! It was nice to have refreshments and snacks available in the waiting area. Very friendly. I just had a return visit and they were just as awesome as the first time. Highly recommended and my teeth look great!

I live in San Diego and Ive heard crazy horror stories about getting teeth pulled in TJ and not having enough novacaine and being able to feel the whole procedure but my friend got his done here and said this place was great. So I gave it a try.The place is pretty big and super clean with a big waiting room with complimentary cold beverages and friendly staff. They dont take appointments bc they have a lot of on site staff but both times i went there I literally waited like five minutes before I was seen!!! 5 minutes!!!! So Ive been here twice now, first was for a deep cleaning and an exam with xrays to see what I needed to get done, it was $60. And they paid for my taxi to and from the border which was ten bucks round trip. They did a great job cleaning my teeth, they were in really really bad shape from smoking, the backside of my front bottom teeth were basically black and they got rid of alllll of that, it was awesome. My dentist spoke mainly spanish but there was like an interpreter there the whole time and he was awesome, i wish i remembered his name, he had glasses lol but its not like he was just an interpreter, I had A LOT of questions and concerns and he was very knowledgeable, kind and had answers for all of my questions without having to ask the dentist. Second time, i came in for a wisdom tooth extraction which was $150 but my tooth was broken so it cost more. A regular tooth extraction is only $40!! I had a different dentist and interpreter this time but they were very nice, as well. I believe I had Dr. Pena, he said hes been a dentist since 2001 so that made me feel better. He kept checking on me throughout the procedure, making sure I was okay bc I was pretty nervous about it bc of said stories and he made sure i wasnt feeling any pain. I couldnt feel a thing!! It was awesome!! I never got a tooth pulled and I was dreading not knowing if i was going to feel it getting pulled out but they shot me up with a lot of novacaine, or just the right amount bc I didnt feel a thing!! So happy about that. Of course im in a little pain like soreness at the site which is normal and goes away after i take my pain meds, just trying very hard not to get dry socket which i heard is the worse pain ever!I also had to pay for antibiotics $15 and pain med $10. Im going back to get two more teeth pulled and fill some cavities, $40 a cavity. So cheap!! Id recommended this place 1000 times over. And mostly everything they do there is certified and guaranteed work so you can trust it.

The staff recognizes me with a smile and was able to get to me quickly 5/5 on price, 5/5 on customer service, 5/5 on the work done I highly recommend this place

I love this place super affordable, they work quick no wait at all, they pay your taxi coming to and going to border, they are efficient and they have drinks and snacks free, they are very friendly, I don’t usually write reviews but I have to let you know they are good also with older kids too, love them I definitely recommend it to families. PLEASE DONT GO HERE! Went there 4 months ago to get wisdom teeth pulled and also had some extensive crown work done. While they were pulling one of the wisdom teeth they broke my second molar where it had to be extracted so now I need an implant.. Against better judgment went back to finish up with the crowns, a week later after the permanents were put in one of the crowns falls off.. They refused to pay for a recement unless I come to Mexico. Now about a month after the permanents I have extreme pain coming from two of the teeth where they placed crowns. They are in such a hurry to finish that they don't care about the quality of the work. It will cost me way more then what I've saved to fix what they have done.

If you are a tourist--coming from US--an need dental work, this is one of the places you want to check first. SEVERAL REASONS--number 1- they give out Medical passes for work, allowing you to use the "fast-handicap' lane to return to USA. You can imaginé waiting after having a tooth pulled.(UPDATE--Dec 2017--currently no medical passes given out temporada ). STILL GREAT DENTAL TREATMENT GIVEN AT GREAT PRICES AND DONE VERY FAST!!! Number 2--the prices, while a little higher than some smaller Tijuana dentist --is not expensive--especially when you compare it USA prices. An here you get compatible treatment--everything here is new y clean y the dentists are very professonal y nice. Third advantage is the Office is located near intersection of 9th y Revolution--main street of Centro--so you are in secure area of city y easy to catch taxi or drive too. RECOMMENDED. APRIL 3 2017 UPDATE---another super visit to Washington Dental, crown placed on 1 molar y wisdom tooth extraction (3rd molar)--great service Dr Bucio --no pain at all but have 3 day supply of pain medication y antibiotics just in case. Total time --Walked in at 11:12am y Walked out at 1:16pm --finished no pain. RECENT UPDATE--11 APRIL 18---another great visit to Washington Dental, extraction of molar. Arrived 8:40am finished 9:25am---no pain another great job Dr. Bucio y assistant. Given 3 way supply of pain medication if needed. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!

This was my first experience with anything medical in Mexico. I called for an appointment and the office spoke perfect English... They said they are walk-in so I just drove down. They have their own parking lot (and I later found out they will pay for your U.S. parking and taxi if you don't want to drive there). It's right in the middle of downtown Tijuana so it's very easy to find and you could even walk there easily from the PedWest crossing. Their clinic is very modern, clean and friendly. Everyone spoke perfect English to me. They took me in after about 5 minutes of waiting. They did a complete exam and X-Ray and did a cleaning. I had been having some on-and-off pain and they said they did not find any major issue on the exam or X-Ray so it was just gum sensitivity. They did not charge at all for the exam and X-Ray and charged me $40 for a cleaning. They said they normally charge $20 but they needed to charge me more because I hadn't had one in such a long time. The dentist did not speak English so well but they had a staff member in during the exam to translate. Everyone seemed 100% professional and I felt totally comfortable. If not for the staff speaking Spanish to each other, it seemed to me exactly like a high end American dental clinic.

This place is amazing. It really felt like I was here in the U.S. They have high quality work at their clinic. They made me feel very welcomed. I also loved the prices they had compared to the U.S much cheaper. All I know is I'm going to be spending my money here each time I need dental work and will also be recommending family or friends. It was also awesome how they have a 2 year coverage for my crown. They also gave me a fast pass to cross back to the border. It took about 20-30min just to cross! Time saver! Great professional staff and clinic!

Horrible! Don't go here! I got 3 root canals and crowns done 3 years ago. I spent 2300 on all and I went to 2 american dentists in San Diego recently and they told me my crowns were no good and could cause infection so I got them re-done and spent 2k again for new ones in the states. Then 6 months later I get a horrible infection in my root canal!!! I get xrays and go on 3 rounds of antibiotics. I got to another dentist down in tj and he cleans out my roots and there is horrible smelling black stuff in my roots! They also went past the apex as well so the infection got in my sinuses. The recent dentist says he has never seen black in a root canal and they did a horrible job of cleaning out the root! The cleaned out nothing but my wallet!

I went to Washington Dental with a friend. The dental offices were clean and the staff courteous. It is a walk in clinic, so no appointment time is needed. The waiting area was large, with a TV and complimentary beverages as you waited to see the doctor. Even when they are busy, it is not a long wait before you are called to see the doctor, as they have 8 doctors working. One thing I noticed that I have never seen in a dental office in San Diego, is after each patient, the room are cleaned and mopped. The prices are good, they pay for your taxi coming and going from the boarder, we will be retuning to this dental office.

I really like this place. The staff is welcoming and friendly, speak English, the doctors recommend necessary treatment and are not insisting on spending money just because you are here. This is my 3rd visit and I'll be coming here regularly.

Found this place walking the streets and looked it up here. After reading reviews I decided to give this clinic a chance. The wait without and appointment wasn't long at all even though their waiting room was pretty full. I had to have a root canal and had it done the very same day after only being there for an hour. They seemed very thorough with the procedure and the pain was minimal. I'm only giving four stars because I also had a "deep cleaning" that seemed very rushed. It was more or a buff and polish, not really a cleaning. She did say my teeth were really clean so perhaps that is why.

Had a really bad tooth ache and my normal TJ dentist said I was fine and he didn't see anything. After a sleepless Friday night I found these guys online and noticed that they take walk-ins (which was a huge plus as I was getting pretty desperate for some relief). Came here Saturday morning. Dentist found the infection right away and had my tooth pulled pronto. Loved this place so much I took my wife here to get our teeth cleaned a couple weeks later. They also give out medical passes which really helps in crossing back. I'll be coming back here from now on. Oh and the prices are pretty decent as well. Thanks Washington Dental Clinic! Jesse Huhn

I have been getting my dental work here for over 5 years. This dental clinic has always been professional, clean and treats you with the highest respect. I have 100% confidence in what they do, never have I felt unsure about if they know what to do. They have always given me the options and what the cost it would be to allow me to choose what is best for me and my budget. These dentists are knowledgeable and explain everything they are doing and what to expect. On top of that they pay for your cab to the facility and your return to the border.

I've been to several dental clinics in the US & in Tijuana and this Washington Clinic has been my best experience by far and on all levels. It's a modern facility, nicely decorated & very clean. Great customer service, free refreshments, clinic provides taxi cab rides to & from the border. Upon first visit an exam was done and six months later my total bill/cost has not wavered. Best of all my dentist, Dr Alberto Ramirez has done exceptional work and has a gentle touch. Once I even fell asleep, only the shot to numb my gums & nerves was given. I highly recommend this clinic. I am very happy with Washington Dental! I went to another dentist in Mexico and was told I needed a lot of work. I just went to Washington Dental, and they told me about some FUTURE work, but nothing pressing! I got my teeth cleaned and left happy with money in my pockets. They don't FIND things to make them money.

Best dental experience possible, Highest professional and ethical standards. Amazing one day service from exam to fitting of plates. They do only the work needed. And the price? About one-third of US work that typically takes multiple visits. To sum up: top-of-the-line service for bottom-of-the-barrel fees. Highly recommended!

4th visit, getting implants, today I get my Crowns. Thus Dental Clinic is very clean, and they give excellent care. Dr. Vladimir Pena has been excellent. I will be ready to recommend to anyone.
