I have been going to Dr. Krish for a year and a half, and my quality of life has improved greatly. I sleep better, I have less facial pain and my dry mouth has resolved itself. Her and her staff are very caring, kind and concerned to make your life better, because they are passionate about their desire to help you. They also sent me to Aspire Allergy and Sinus for a sinus consultation after doing my initial visit, which fixed some other problems after Dr. Chris Thompson completed his treatment and surgery. This was another step in my improved quality of life. I went here with severe jaw pain several years ago and within a year it was gone. No clicking, no locking. Nothing. The staff is amazing and gets things done efficiently.

When I initially came into the office I was in an acute crisis, as my jaw was locked at a limited range of motion. I also had several other associated symptoms. I’m much improved since my initial visit. The progress takes time, you have to be patient to reap the benefits, but you will achieve a better quality of life. I went to two different doctors that treat TMJD before finding Dr. Krish, and her bedside manner as well as knowledge is definitely better. She’s much more thorough with the care you receive, 100% recommend!

I had such a good experience at TMJ and Sleep Therapy Centre of North Texas. When I came to them, I was having horrible jaw and neck pain and had difficulty opening my mouth. They took such great care of me and after treatment, I now have no pain and can open my mouth fully without difficulty. I had a wonderful added bonus to my therapy. I have had very severe back spasm for many years. Everyone assumed it was the result of a fusion I had many years ago due to an accident. The first night I started wearing the appliance the spasms in my obliques essentially disappeared. Then when I went into the full nighttime appliance the ones in my low back got much better. It appears that my teeth gritting and breathing irregularities due to pain was keeping my muscles to be properly oxygenated. Wonderful to have this very debilitating condition interrupted in such a noninvasive way. This practice has been such good fortune for me! Thank all of you!!!

Update (8/25): after posting my review they called me and claimed that Dr. Krish’s assistant was “out” when I had emailed. They also said Dr. Krish has agreed to allow me some sort of partial refund, and then they proceeded to ask me to take down my review. I politely said no but I’d be happy to amend my review if I do receive a partial refund. They said they “will absolutely be getting back to me” about a refund. Tomorrow will mark 3 weeks since they called. I have not receive a phone call or email follow up about this partial refund. Original review: I am a speech language pathologist, and I do NOT recommend Dr. Krish for addressing TMD and/or sleep apnea. I would give zero stars if I could. As a clinician, I understand how to adapt a patient’s treatment plan according to that patient’s specific needs and concerns. Dr. Krish delivers a “one size fits all” plan to all of her patients, and I suffered from this greatly. $5000 later her treatment actually worsened my symptoms. I am now receiving extensive physical therapy to address my concerns as well as the damage done by the night time oral appliance Dr. Krish insisted would solve my problems. While it may work for some, and it did improve the shape/position of my TM joint, it caused more problems than solved them as the device caused me to clench at night more extremely. Every time I saw Dr. Krish and shared my concerns, she would say the same things over and over. She would insist it was because my feet must be in pain, or because I was not getting enough oxygen. However I had the sleep apnea obviously before wearing the device, and my feet were not in pain, however my jaw became stiffer and more painful the longer I wore the device. I decided to take things in to my own hands and after 5 months of wearing the device nightly with various different band tightnesses I stopped wearing it and instantly felt relief within 3-4 days. I emailed Dr. Krish and her assistant telling them I stopped wearing it and have felt improvement. At my next appointment Dr. Krish continued to push the same plan on me, insisting I need to wear the device and said in a couple of months they were going to start this new injection treatment involving plasma that she was sure would work. I finally got a second opinion at that point. They said often full mouth devices can cause people to clench more intensely and that a different approach should be tried with me. I emailed Dr. Krish and her assistant saying I’ve decided to seek treatment somewhere else unless they can suggest a new approach not involving the night time wearable. I also asked for a partial refund, anything they could give me for failing to successfully treat me. They never responded. I feel completely robbed of $5000. It’s gut wrenching honestly. I’ve now been seeing a physical therapist since April and have seen MAJOR improvements. Being able to open my jaw without pain has been life changing. I wish I could sue to get my $5000 back but they have you sign a bunch of papers when you agree to the treatment plan at the beginning. All I can do is warn others…. do NOT go here.

This is a scam. I paid almost $7000 for their treatment plan. I was initially presented with a treatment plan that indicated multiple treatments for TMJ that included appliances, injections, laser treatments, and multiple other procedures. I only received the appliance and laser treatment(which is snake oil type stuff). This is bait and switch. The doctor spends absolutely no time with you and you only see her for about 30 min for the entire program. I was lead to believe that this program involved multiple treatments over time and it didn't, only the appliance. I will be filing a claim on their professional liability as well a civil claim in court as I have tried to deal with them to work something out but they have been non responsive.. I was initially somewhat satisfied with the level of care until I found out that they wanted more money out of me after I paid the 7k and then they wanted another $150 a visit when I had only been in the office 3-4 times and believed I was only in the beginning stages of treatment and found out that treatment had ended and I no longer have any support. Do not do the treatment plan. They take advantage of people suffering. I've told them what I expect as compensation. The only thing that will stop people like this is lawsuits.

If you’re looking for a remedy to your sleeping issues, this is NOT the place. I specifically said over the phone what my concerns were (trouble falling asleep and staying asleep) and they assured me that this was their focus. On the day of the appointment, they kept me there for 3 hrs as they had said, BUT without touching the subject. They just checked my jaw, took x rays of my face, and then told me the mouth guards would cost thousands of dollars and so would a sleep study…. Also over the phone they had told me the $500 consultation fee included a ring… well it turns out they didn’t want to give it to me because I didn’t want to pay for the sleep study… I told them that they said the $500 included the ring, so they gave it to me but turns out it’s just something you wear 1 nigh and have to return. You do not get the results and in any case, what serious study takes a sample of 1 night? I cannot attest for the jaw part but this is not a place to spend your money on if you are just trying to learn more about the sleeping cycles and how exactly you will treat them. Frankly, the way they positioned it on the phone is misleading and they know exactly what they are doing.

I’m disappointed in the quality of the services I paid for. On my initial visit, I met with Dr. Hanna and the medical tech and they discussed my problems and initial x-rays, and posture/bite pictures in detail, and then offered me treatment for $5k, which I agreed to. They made a compelling case for treatment. I received my appliances for my TMJ pain, and consecutive visits consisted of a cold laser treatment by a medical tech, which was fine. On two occasions, I was told that my next appointment would be with the doctor that I initially met with to review how the treatment had been going, but that never happened. I was instead given cold laser therapy by a medical tech and after 10 minutes, my appointment was over. During my final appointment of my treatment plan, the medical tech took x-rays and pictures of my posture and bite. I was once again given cold laser treatment to my TMJ, and then she said that concluded my appointment and treatment plan. I then requested to view the initial x-rays and the x-rays that were just taken today to see the progress. This wasn’t going to be offered to me, nor was the doctor that I initially met with going to review these with me. I still have TMJ pain, but now my treatment plan is over and additional visits are $150. I have the appliances that have a 3 year warranty, but I was told that the warranty only applies if I come in every 6 months for a $150 appointment. I feel like there was a big push to get my initial $5000, but once that has been paid, service is not great.

After many years of TMJ and sleep issues I can say I found relief. When people ask me "how do I spell relief - I say DR. KRISH!!!" I have spent thousands of dollars on CPAP machines different mouth guards to try to elevate the pain. Dr. Krish took the time to explain to me why the CPAP machine was not working and had to do with my airway collapsing because of the alignment in my jaw. Now that I have been wearing my devices I do not have the headaches or jaw pain that I once had and my partner states he can sleep at night without having to listen to my mouth symphony :) Thank you Dr. Krish and team for outstanding service

Great office and staff! They are professional, friendly and truly listen to your issue. They were able to get us in quickly to stop the pain even though we were new patients. Very impressed with Dr Krish and her experience, equipment and products. I definitely would recommend this office!

Called back thirty minutes late. Watched pointless videos while waiting for the doctor. After being there for an hour and a half without seeing the doctor, I asked how much longer because I needed to pick up my children from school. Another ten minutes went by before the doctor finally showed up. She spent 20 min with me. I was there for about 2 hours just to have them try to sell devices to me for about over $4k. It's a muscle issue. I told them that. Now I'm out $395 and still in pain.

I suffer with severe TMJ disorder. I have been to countless doctors and specialists, but none of them could diagnose and treat me effectively. I was at my wit’s end with pain and suffering. That is until I saw Dr Krish! She is very thorough and dedicated to helping her patients.

I can tell you that “fraud” comes to mind when I think of the subtle caring way they show and then want to argue with you over the phone about how they never said anything. A physical therapist friend recommended Dr Krish for the new onset of TMJ pain and loss of mobility I was experiencing. My dentist recommended Botox injections which was simply a bandaid and did nothing for the root cause of the problem. Dr Krish and her team did a thorough exam and 9 weeks into treatment I went from opening my mouth to 24 mm to 42 mm and have minimal pain! I highly recommend Dr Krish!

I have had sleep apnea for over 7 years. I use a CPAP machine and was looking for an alternative treatment. The nightgaurd oral appliance is exactly what I need. Before: Had a lot of changes in posture and sleep difficulties during breastfeeding, also jaw pain and noises while eating, and headache at morning. After: wearing the appliance i felt changes in first moths, all pain was reducing and gone. And the sound was gone in half year. Also i received a lot of recommendations for my sleep inmpruvment, which helped a lot. At the beginning couldn't imagine wearing these every day, but used to it with time and feeling fine adding them to my sleep routine, becouse i can feel the difference and happy about all changes.

I made an appointment with Dr. Kirsh after my dentist recommended her as the best TMJ Specialist in the DFW area. I have dealt withTMJ since I was a teenager, many years of jaw pain, I have tried several appliances and night mouth guards with no relief. Dr. Kirsh has been very patient with my concerns, is working with my alignment problems and adjustments with the new appliance. Staff is so caring and really goes the extra mile. Dr. is so knowledgable is this specialized field and takes the time to educate her patients. she has made such a difference in my quality of life. I was starting to think I would never truly feel good again but after a short period of treatment, I have turned a corner. Wish I would have started treatment years ago.

After years of suffering from bruxism, grinding my teeth, and feeling extremely stiff from the night guard from my general dentist; they recommended me to Dr. Krish. It took me almost 3 years of nonsense and discomfort to find her, and Im so glad my dental office made the recommendation!!! Not only was I feeling sore and stiff from my night guard after 6 months, but I was finding it hard to eat basic things; cereal, burgers, and chewing was a pain too. My facial muscles were suffering from soreness and I also would hear this POP! from even trying to open my mouth. But, my office visit with Dr. Krish has saved my life!!! I am currently 2 months into my treatment and I have to say: the scars from my bruxism have finally healed, my jaw is finally becoming aligned where it needs to be, my facial muscles are no longer exhuasted, and I feel like I can finally go back into deep sleep. I'm NOT just talking about regular sleep. I'm talkin bout with drool and everything. Yeah. It's FAN-TASTIC!!! ?????? And! I can FINALLY eat like normal again! ? Of course, I did have to make some lifestyle changes; no gum or anything extremely chewy, but that is the smallest sacrifice for the BIGGEST improvement in my life EVER!!! Real talk tho, I had to put some money down into a VERY expensive new night gaurd ($$$), but my general dental office was more than happy to refund me for my original gaurd since it was discovered I DID in fact have a TMJ issue and the night guard was actually making it worse. But besides that! Everyone in the office is an Angel. They are the nicest people, and they are super willing to help, and they would be delighted to help you too! "Dr." Krish is the worst doctor I've ever met. I had to pay her $400 to talk to me for 10 minutes and complain about how busy she was. She was incredibly rude and didn't offer me any help at all. She said I had to pay $600 for an x-ray before she would offer me any advice or make a plan. They wouldn't even look at my premium health insurance and told me to just put it on my card.. I was a poor college student and couldn't pay so she abruptly left and refused to talk to me again. I wasted so much money! She should have her medical license revoked. I can't sleep and have horrible TMJ pain. I dropped out of school because of the insomnia. I wish I had spent my money on someone who was competent and cared about her patients. There's a special place for people like her.

Dr. Shab Krish was truly amazing. She cured my wife’s pain after she had dealt with TMJ for 10 years. My wife’s pain was intolerable, even after taking pain killers, but this doctor did the impossible! I definitely recommend this doctor as she fully explains everything in easy terms, but in a detailed manner. Because of Dr. Shab Krish, my wife is able to sleep painlessly now! I'm so grateful for Dr. Krish and her staff! I went to Dr. Krish a year ago after being referred by my dentist because I grind my teeth at night, which was leading to jaw pain. Dr. Krish and her staff spent ample time examining my issues and explaining what was causing me to grind my teeth. I wear my mouth appliance every night and no longer have jaw pain, and as a bonus and unexpected outcome, my GERD has also improved!

WARNING DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! This office thinks it’s okay to harass unhappy customers, overcharge for useless services, and completely not help you with your problems. 600$ just to walk in the door and they won’t tell you how to fix anything. 7000$ and they might be able to treat you. They refuse to file insurance before and make you pay everything upfront. Do yourself a favor and use ANY other TMJ office in DFW.

I first went to see Dr. Krish because I wasn't sleeping well and never felt well-rested, even with 8 hours of sleep! I'm in my late 20s and wasn't even sure I had a problem. Her office was really welcoming and thorough. It was clear she was extremely knowledgeable and she even talked about her own experiences with sleep problems. The most informative test she did for me was when she took a 3D scan of my head and I could see how small my airway was and how congested my sinuses were. She made me a sleep appliance which has changed my life. I could see on my second scan how open my airway was when using the device but I could also feel a major difference. Now, I never sleep without it and if I even nap without it, I can tell the difference. I feel well-rested and energized, and I no longer snore, which is good news for my relationship! Worth every penny! Thank you Dr. Krish!

I was referred to the TMJ & Sleep Therapy Center by my dentist after I had gone to him due to pain I was experiencing from clenching my jaw at night. Everyone I came across at the TMJ office was friendly helpful and professional. After going for six months I saw first hand through x-rays the difference in how my orthotic appliance has helped my TMJ as well as the vertebrae in my neck. I was impressed and glad I made the decision to give the TMJ & Sleep Therapy center a chance.

I've been a patient here since my initial TMJ treatment in 2014. My TMJ disorder was very bad. My jaw constantly popped and was sore. Occasionally it would get stuck in whatever open position. Finally, it reached a point to where I was unable to open my mouth at all without pain, but after ~4 months or so of treatment I was able to open my mouth and eat food again. Now it's 2020 and I have almost NO symptoms of my TMJ at all. 0 jaw popping, 0 jaw/facial pain, 0 recurring instances. Dr. Krish and her team are amazing and I'm so happy to be living a normal life again.

What a racket and so unethical. During my initial consultation, Dr. Krish recommened several treatments they could start today but she needed to see xrays of my jaw before starting which is understandable. The xrays were an additional $500 because they do only have a special xray machine and don't provide typical xrays. I agreed to the xrays and would then asked the cost of the three specific treatments Dr. Krish said she could perform that day. No one in the office, including manager or Dr. Krish could tell me the cost of the procedures. The individual prices are "propriety" I was told because they only sell "comprehensive packages." I said well you have to have itemized prices of each procedure within each package but again they said they couldn't even give me a ballpark number because that was again "propriety." No one would even tell me how much the "packages" cost until I refused to invest $500 more on xrays. I feel it is unethical for a patient who asks to not even be given an idea (general range) of procedures/packages. Finally the manager brought me in a tiny room and said "comprehensive packages are between $5,000 and 7,000" but they can't tell me exactly how much until after my xrays. They were unwilling to provide cost or even do the specific procedures Dr. Krish said avidly promoted and confidently stated would bring me immediate relief that day bc they didnt believe it would be lasting without the entire package. Everyone can choose for themselves but if I had read this instead of all the other reviews they promote, I definitely wouldn't have wasted my time or money!!!

Dr. Krish and her staff have been wonderful! They have really worked to help with issues relating to sleep apnea and TMJ. They have provided excellent care. The first dental appliance broke twice, the bottom plate cracked in two pieces, then 6 mos later the tongue loop broke off and they informed me it was out of warranty. It was disconcerting to pay this much money ($4500) to have this happen. The good news is that Dr. Krish replaced the appliance with one made of sturdier materials and very happy to report it is working very well.

I hardly ever write a review, but Dr. Krish and the entire team are amazing. My son has suffered from painful TMJ for almost two years. He missed a ton of school last year from extreme head, neck and back pain. He started treatment this summer and his life has completely changed. He doesn’t get headaches anymore and no more neck or back pain!!!!! I can’t recommend them enough and we are so thankful for them!!!

I just want to share my experience with Dr. Krish. Personally, when I went to my first date. I had a lot of pain in my jaw, I could hardly open my mouth, I had pain when chewing as well as severe headaches. And the pain was daily and constant. Right now I have been in treatment for almost a year and using my plates to sleep and I could already say that I have zero pain and I can open my mouth like a normal person. It no longer hurts when I chew, the headaches have completely disappeared, I can yawn without any pain. And so what do I tell you? I totally recommend Dr. Krish because thanks to her I have a normal life. And it is also worth noting that the nurses are very patient and excellent people, just like the doctor. Don't hesitate to make an appointment, I assure you that you won't regret it.

DR. Krish is a very nice and caring person. She listens to what you have to say about where you are hurting at. She go's far and about out of her way to help you feel better. DR. Krish staff is very nice and makes you feel at home and comfortable.

I would like to let everyone know about the folks at TMJ. The staff there is super. Very professional and knowledgeable about their job. They treat you like you are their only patient. My tinnitus was bad, I woke up most days with jaw pain and the pressure in my ear was almost unbearable. With their help the pressure and jaw pain are gone and my tinnitus has been greatly reduced. I first came here with excruciating pain in my jaw as I had grinding and clenching problems. My dentist had shaved part of my teeth off because I was not biting properly and then she told me to see a TMJ specialist. I received two devices from Dr. Krish to wear during the day and at night and my pain has gone from 8 to 0 which I am very happy about! If you have a TMJ problem or are not getting any sleep I would highly recommend this place to cure you and more importantly educate you on what you should be doing to your body for future wellness.

I have been seeing them for about 6 years and they have really changed my life. I was examined by Dr. Krish with tmj symptoms. I was clenching during the day, grinding at night. I also had jaw pain and locking. Along with all that i also had horrible migraines that would last for weeks, and my physician told me i had chronic migraines and all he can do for me was strong prescription and change my diet and drink more water. Did that and didnt work. I had ringing in the ear shoulder pain eye pain and vision problems. So i saw Dr. Krish. Upon her examination her assistant would do a cold laser treatment on my jaw area where i was in pain and i also had custom appliances made just for me. The day i started wearing them my problems started going away almost instantly! I sleep better now. I dont wake up with jaw pain anymore. No more clenching or grinding. Shoulder pain is gone. I have not had any ringing in the ears since. Last but not least FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ALMOST 25 YEARS I HAVE NOT HAD A MIGRAINE! I can function like a normal person without any pain! I didn't really think I had a TMJ problem...I'm 25 years old, former athlete, and assumed the pain I felt in my neck and shoulders (and occasionally jaw) was just from playing a sport at a high level. Dr. Krish performed reflex and nerve (non-invasive, pain free) testing on me and I tested positive for TMJ dysfunction. I still wasn't completely convinced that I had a problem but she gave me an appliance to try and within two days of wearing the appliance at night, I was completely pain-free! No little aches, no popping, no lower back pain, or knee pain. I haven't needed to see my chiropractor since I started wearing the appliance (I was going twice a week---expensive!) and I even brought my husband in because he had some pain, snored, never felt refreshed in the mornings. Dr. Krish took a scan of his head and airway and we could see that he wasn't getting enough oxygen while sleeping. She gave him an appliance to wear at night and he REFUSES to sleep without it. He used to have to set at least 3 alarms because he could never get out of bed and now he's up before I am every morning! I'm so grateful that I decided to do an initial exam because I had originally just accepted that the little pains I had were normal and that feeling tired everyday was just a part of everyday life. Doctor Krish and her team are just wonderful! I had been struggling for just over a year with my TMJ. I would wake up at least 4 or 5 times a night and would not be able to move my jaw the next morning.
