Traveled to Tijuana, got 3 dental implants done professionally by Dr. Jhonatan who explained every procedure and speaks perfect English at a spotless modern clinic, all paid out of pocket and still have plenty of money left over for a baller vacation.

From the moment I arrived at the reception desk, I was greeted very warmly and friendly. Dr. Josue treated me quickly and took X-rays and photos of my teeth. He explained everything very professionally and kindly, and gave me options. He performed the procedure without any complications. 10/10 service.

Unfortunately, the service was never received reason why I didn't give them 1 star I had an appointment at 9 am. I walked out at 9:46 after asking about how long they would take and seeing that the receptionisthas no intention of being proactive. I understand being busy, but there was no follow-up or apology from anyone for the delay, She just kept on being on her phone and said ok bye when I told her it had been waiting for over 30 minutes.

I've been using SM4 Dental for almost 6 years now. They helped me transition into implants which allowed me to bite and chew normally for the first time in decades. After having my implants for about 5 years they offered me an upgrade on the denture at a very reasonable cost. Of course I jumped at the chance to change a couple things plus the new streamline design from the original sounded great. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Hello everyone I’m here to share my experience with this awesome clinic I my self chose this place based on the reviews and it was a difficult choice considering all I have been through related to the my dental health I live in Bay Area I consulted tow clinics close to where I live and let’s just say that I wasn’t confident about them and of course the prices were unrealistic. I’m sure there are great clinics around the bay I’m not here to talk about them I decided to give SM4 a chance and I went there First thing they did is sent me to a place near by for a CT scan, then dr Jonathan took his time and examined the scan and came up with a plan and presented to me the next visit step by step Little bit of my dental history I had a bridge over natural teeth, the natural teeth holding the bridge developed a really bad infection because of bed root canal work (the clinic in Bay Area said that they have to extract all of them 3 , after looking at a regular x-ray for 5min) Dr Jonathan after consulting with a root canal specialist who did an excellent work they did there best and saved 2 out of 3 Long story short I was going here for almost two years I think there’s no dental procedure we missed From extraction to bone graft, implant, crowns root canal with a great specialist plus regular fillings And after every visit a walk away with a temporary bridge that looks great ( bridge from canine to canine) and after couple hour I could eat just fine The most important thing besides the great and professional work is the energy and the confident you feel when you are on the chair( me at least 5 hours on the chair every visit)and I think this is important as much as the work itself The staff the dental assistants great young energetic people My final crowns where On like a month ago and I’m really happy with the results The price $$$$is important too let me say that it was half then the estimate I got in the stats included the trips and hotel they won’t try to sale you more work or anything the price on the plane stays the same By the way if you fly to San Diego there is a taxis that ca take you through the border to the clinic and back ask the clinic to provide you there contact the round trip for San Diego airport is like 140$, I was able to do the trip in one day I hop this could help anyone who is in the same spot I was trying to make a decision Just go for it and give it a chance And for the doctors and the staff just keep doing what they’re doing DO NOT CHANGE anything Thanks

I have been coming to this dentist over 5 years and have always had a phenomenal experience. Dr Arturo and Jorge are both so caring and personable and del8ver exceptional service. Even the receptionists are awesome along with the office manager Evelyn. The office is always clean and I feel safe with them. I will not go anywhere else.

After being told in Boston that I needed a whopping 60K to get the All-on-X implant procedure I was devastated. A lot of the healthcare system in the USA is skewed and against the best interests for its citizens and that meant I had to seek implants elsewhere. I had a very aggravated case of Periodontitis and my teeth were not looking or feeling good. My gums had receded to the point that my whole tooth were showing. There was no other way to heal but to get the disease under control and eradicated. I was incredibly lucky to meet someone on Reddit who recommended Smile Method in Tijuana and I made my first visit back in 2023 to do a full mouth extraction and get implants. I just came back and got my permanents placed after going 6 months with my temporaries. The whole procedure was about less than a third of what I would've paid in New England and at SM4 I had the pleasure to receive the work of Dr. Arturo who was so incredibly nice and professional. He explained the whole process from beginning to end and is immensely passionate about his craft. He mentioned things to me that no other Dr. here in the states really took the time to explain which was mind blowing to me. The team that worked alongside him were just as dedicated and kind and I had a great time listening to the music they put on in the background and listening to their conversations while they worked on me! lol For those who are nervous or on the fence about this: it was worth every penny and I paid extra for IV sedation on surgery day which made me feel very calm. I flew in and treated this visit as a vacation but I would caution to those visiting from outside Mexico to assume waiting for longer period of times even if your appointment is scheduled for a particular time. Naturally, because you're only there for a short amount of time, there's a LOT of work they have to condense so there are days that will feel longer than others, and of course, if you want a break down of your visit or need someone to drive you over the border, Evelyn will explain everything. I can't begin to express how much I love my smile now and it wouldn't have been possible without mustering some courage and the wonderful team at SM4!

SM4 was recommended by a friend (who received full implants) but I was skeptical. I researched the lasted technology, obtained multiple estimates and interviewed various dentists in the U.S. and Mexico. I AM SO GLAD that I selected SM4. My first visit was 5 hours the first day and 6 the second. They whitened, computer imaged, x-rayed, performed a root canal (one of my canines was sticking out too far) and prepared my teeth to receive FULL veneers and CROWNS for a “Hollywood Smile” ( Hollywood because they do a lot of business with actors, movie stars and singers). All the other dentists I reviewed only recommended cosmetic veneers. SM4’s price was about a third of what it would cost in the U.S. OMG, I would have been so mad if I had went with one of these dentists in the states. More expensive and not near the quality, not even close. The bonding agent SM4 uses actually fuses the veneer to the tooth. It’s essentially part of your tooth. This is why I’ve waited so long because the technology has been perfected. The dentist I had was Arturo. He just came back from Japan where he was being educated on upcoming dental technology. He was so detailed and precise. Thank you Arturo, Evelyn and all the staff at SM4. I am going back in a month for final placement. I will keep you updated…..

I found Dr. Mendez back in 2017 when he was just starting his business. I continue to go for maintenance work. Dr. Mendez and the staff have been so good to me and my family. He has saved me thousands of dollars worth of dental work. What I really enjoy about seeing Dr. Mendez is I had a literal fear of dentists since I was a kid, having a small mouth, a lot of work done in the past, and no other dentist could explain why my teeth would break over time. Dr. Mendez explains everything that he is doing before, during, and after. Any questions I have, he will immediately answer. He was the first to tell me that I have a strong bite which causes my teeth to chip or break. I used to have to be put to sleep in order to do a procedure but because of his gentle hands and feeling safe during the procedure, I don't need that anymore. What I also enjoy about this dentist is the staff helping me come to the dentist. I walk to the border, and an Uber picks me up provided by them, which helps so much. If there's any issue, I call or email them, and they are quick to respond. I gladly refer people to Dr. Mendez, and I thank God that I was able to get my dental needs finally resolved.

I'm extremely happy with the care provided by Dr. Ary Blanco and Dr. Jorge Gomez. My procedure involved a tooth extraction and a general cleaning; everything went well. They took the time to explain everything to me, and throughout the procedure, the doctor constantly told me what he was doing for my peace of mind. The care and service from the clinic were 10/10.

First off: I have a major phobia when it comes to seeing the dentist. I had 3 root canals that were done incorrectly ,(in Cali with insurance) and under extreme pain. I left traumatized. Other than the occasional tooth pain, I never saw the dentist on a yearly basis. So you can imagine, after 20+ yrs of that, my teeth were in dire straights. To top it off, due to my chemotherapy, those root canals lost their crown and my enamel weakened, they began to crack. I was referred to Dr. Johnatan by my niece and let me tell you: he literally made me feel at ease on the first day. He and his team are very professional and so empathetic that they never once made me feel out of place on my peculiar phobic hang ups. Their patience is legendary! The evaluation was free and so informative. No pushy selling just straight up what needs to be done and what he recommends should be done in what order. Every question and concern was answered with a reaffirming smile. The pay as you go system makes budgeting a breeze and working with you schedule on what you want to work on makes coming to the dentist so much easier. The root canal specialist was amazing too! . Especially when I thought I was going to loose the tooth and he reassured me that he could save it. My dental surgery to replace my cracked molars with implants went smoothly (I was given a sedative to ease my nerves so the 3hrs went by fast!) and though it will take months to see the final results , I feel very assured that the job will be done right. Forgot to mention that they are truly state of the art when it comes to dental tech!! No one likes seeing the dentist but I don’t dread it anymore. Thank you Smile Method For All!!!!

This was my first time getting dental work done in TJ. I had been putting my wisdom teeth (and more) off for so long- one, because I have a MAJOR fear of the dentist, and two, it’s so expensive to get quality dental in the US. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Mendez at Smile Method For All and I honestly can’t believe how incredibly easy and amazing this experience was! I’ve needed my wisdom teeth extracted for so long and she told me he was the best to do it. Making the appointment was super easy and they let me know everything I needed to prep for before my visit. Their office is super close to the boarder, so getting to them was super quick and easy. After crossing, I was able to catch an Uber to the office. YES! UBER!… so convenient! Once I got there, their entire staff was so welcoming, gentle, and so kind. Having only experienced American dentistry, I have to say I was BEYOND IMPRESSED! Their office and staff blew every other dentist I’ve ever been to out of the water!! AND their office didn’t smell like a dentist office!! It was so beautiful, so clean, and they provided coffee, tea, and water while you waited. From the moment I got there, they made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. I made them aware of my fear of the dentist and how I’ve put off dental work for so long, and they reassured me that I was in the best hands possible. And they were right! They took their time taking x-rays and gently explaining to me what they were going to do during my procedure as well as letting me know that they were going to develop a treatment plan to ensure all of my dental needs would be taken care of in the future. They were so patient with answering any questions that I had and, just in case anyone is concerned about a language barrier- nope! Everyone there speaks perfect English!! Dr. Mendez was so gentle during my surgery. He was able to explain to me everything he was doing and had such a gentle hand. He made sure I didn’t have any pain, whatsoever and I felt so safe and so relaxed! They played really soothing music, which kept me calm. I honestly can’t say I’ve had a better experience with any other dentist! After the surgery, they wrote out an entire prescription for all of my medications and they also booked me a hotel room at this GORGEOUS hotel right by the boarder crossing, which was discounted on behalf of their referral. The hotel also has a 24 hour pharmacy right there, so it made it super easy to get everything I needed. I can go on and on about how amazing this was. I was so comfortable at their office and then I was able to sleep well at the hotel that night. The hotel has an incredible food court and everything was delicious! I was able to enjoy dairy free ice cream and soup. But, my boyfriend had the most delicious ceviche and sushi! The next morning we caught an Uber back to the Ready Lane (boarder crossing) and just like that, we were back in San Ysidro. I definitely recommend crossing before 9 AM. There was no line and it was super fast! After this experience, I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else for my dental from now on. You can’t beat the pricing, the quality, or the hospitality of Dr. Mendez and his entire team. It was like a mini vacation. I still can’t believe I’m home and resting so comfortably after this! I really wish I would’ve known how easy and great this was, sooner. But, I’m so grateful I know, now! Thank you Dr. Mendez and Smile Method For All!!!! If you're reading this, then you're in the same research mode that i'm all too familiar with. We all know the cost of dental work in the States is ridiculous. After going through countless reviews for TJ dental clinics, my wife and I decided to (apprehensively) give SM4 a try. This little clinic is a real gem and they've made our experience of driving over 2 hrs each way, from Los Angeles, well worth it. Dr. Marquez and his team has gained our trust, and has made the whole process as painless as possible. They communicate well in English and will even schedule an Uber to pick you up from the border crossing, then drop you off afterwards. Not to sound like a commercial, but SM4 has become our go to dental clinic!

I love this dental office! They are so gentle and do amazing work. I’ve been here multiple times and always recommend them to everyone. Dra. Medrano is the best!

My wife got all on four implants (full mouth restoration) here last year. SM4 was amazing! The office was nicer looking and cleaner than any office either of us had been to in the US! The people were friendly and caring. She had a lot of extractions and was worried as they don't like to use general anesthesia. The combination of oral sedatives they gave her worked perfectly. In combination with local anesthesia, she was able to relax through the 4.5 hours in the chair on the "big day". Recovery is not fun from this sort of thing, but I think anyone who's been through it will tell you it's WORTH IT! Especially when you have a great team like SM4! It's been 6 months and we are excited to go back for her cleaning and eat some great food in the VERY SAFE neighborhood this office is located. If you are coming from Southern California, park in at the Best Western Americana Inn, San Ysidro for $20 and have Lester and Co. pick you up there and drive you to and from the dental office. You will save hours of time crossing the border. The office will supply Lester's contact info if you ask.

I can’t say enough great things about this dentist office. First by saying AMAZING… me and my husband made an appointment we live in Monterey ca drove down they helped with the hotel and paid for our Uber ride yo the office. They stayed tell 9:00 at night getting our work done witch was 5 root canals and 3 tooth pulling . We were treated like royalty . We have been back 6 times to finish up our dental work snd we go every 6 months h go or teeth cleaning and a check up. I just brought my 80 year old father he can’t believe how nice they are and how clean. And the price was great. Much cheaper. We will never go any we’re else

I had all on 4 top and bottom arches done on January 11th, 10 hours of surgery including extractions bone grafts top and bottom as well a sinus lift and implants placed top and bottom no pain just soreness that tylenol took care of for me. From my 1st interaction with Mary my patient coordinator to meeting Alita at the front desk and the 2 surgeons who did my procedure Dr. Johnathan and Arturo they were all so kind and caring and skilled at their craft. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality and my new beautiful smile. I am looking forward to traveling down again in 4 months from Philadelphia Pa for my final placement of my permanent teeth. Best in class service I have never had a dental office so friendly caring and helpful in US as they were here in Mexico ??
