Firstly, I highly recommend Dr. Richardson she is amazing! The ambiance is pleasant as soon as you walk into the office. The entire staff was kind, warm, and welcoming! I had a deep cleaning done and I was treated with nothing but absolute care and comfort through the process. I was thoroughly informed of what my treatment would be and I am beyond satisfied with the results. I’ve never been to a dentist more gentle but precise and I am now a forever client! If I could give ten stars I would!

I was recently diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia..I answered the questions on the form as everyone else did..When the doctor came in to see me she stood soo far away from me as if I had a plague..VERY HURTFUL.. DIDN'T do anything for my tooth which is WHY I was there..DIDNT want to touch my mouth honestly. Was VERY short with me when me wanting to have other dental work done..Me being a black woman and wanting to support black owned businesses yet alone fighting for my life has had a change of heart..I want to say to the Dr..EDUCATE yourself..I would NEVER ESPECIALLY BEING A DENTIST EVER MAKE SOMEONE FEEL THE WAY YOU MADE ME FEEL.. I started going to this dental office about a year and half ago and have had nothing but great experiences. Eventually my wife and kids also started seeing Dr. Richardson. The staff are friendly, the office looks new and clean. My routine cleaning visits have been smooth and pain free. The hygienist with a European accent ( sorry can’t remember her name) is very kind and skilled. She takes time to explain and knows what she is doing. Besides that, I recently had a crown done at the office and it went well. After the procedure, I received follow up text messages from Dr.Richardson herself asking me how I am feeling. Look This gesture meant a lot to me. Sher really cares about her patients.

Our appointments with Peace Haven Smiles have been nothing but amazing! From Liz to Dr.Richardson everything flows so smoothly. I chose this location because of the 5-Star rating. Before my first appointment, I ran into a dismissive employee that made me regret my choice. For days leading up to the appointment I received texts and calls saying "show up on time", "10 minute grace period". I showed up early and then was told I couldn't enter the facility and was made to sit out in a cramped, smelly hallway while employees sat in the lobby listening to Cher. I communicated my concerns to the doctor but I honestly don't feel they cared about my experience. Felt like it was more of a "you're frustrated, I'm confused, so you can leave" vibe. Since I already felt this wasn't the office for me, I chose to leave and the doctor agreed. They said I wouldn't be billed as a "no show" or otherwise penalized, but I'll see as time goes on.

My son and I were searching for a dentist and I found this office it’s a great atmosphere everyone is very professional and welcoming. My son (Braylon) absolutely loves this office as well. I’m very pleased and I will be making future appointments.

I'm not going to lie, we were nervous when we came into the office. This was my second attempt to find a dentist. Why do you ask were we so worried? I came here after taking my 15-year-old twins to another Charlotte dentist who tried to claim my children needed 6K EACH in dental work and fillings and periodontal scrapings in addition to sending me to an oral surgeon for wisdom teeth removal. If I am honest, I had already started looking at dental tourism spots on Tic-Toc... I mean, I was sweating this appointment. It was a college or teeth kind of day. After the initial exam was over, the dentist concluded one child had 2 cavities (not 15) and the other was cavity-free. Neither child had periodontal disease and regular cleaning was fine. She also happily gave me a referral to a local Oral Surgeon for our wisdom teeth removal. We now have a reasonable treatment plan and a new favorite dentist in Charlotte. The cleanings were painless and they understood how to help kids who were anxious. As a person who has had extensive dental work done, I can say I appreciated the candor, honesty, kindness, compassion, and explanations of what to expect.

From the receptionist to the dental assistant to Dr. Richardson the experience was awesome! Everyone was nice and personable. Office environment was pleasant and inviting. Was looking for a dentist for my son but now I’ll be a new patient here as well.

There is a cute little kids area with books too. They literally thought of EVERYTHING! This dentist took her time and explained every step to me, she was very sweet and her staff friendly. Very personable,knowledgable always explained to me what my treatment was going to be and why every step of the way. Worked around my schedule and got me an appointment time that worked best for me. The office space is beautiful and homey second floor with an amazing view. Even gave me a sweet potatoe pie for Thanksgiving. Definitely will be back.
