I searched everywhere for a talented,knowledgeable and well educated dentist.When I decided to do denture implants of coarse I contacted the local implants centers in the USA.They wanted $52,000 and offer me a credit card or get a second on my house.I was appaled at their matter of fact attitude.So I did my research globally as I thought I would include a mini vacation but I quickly realized it is a process and Dr Nava had the most skills and knowledge. What I found most appealing is although you had to go maybe 4 times or more they speeded the process by attending only you for several hours instead of what they do in USA.I can not tell you enough how grateful I am to Dr.Nava and his staff

Had 16 veneers done, 2 root canals, 4 fiber posts, 6 crowns, gum, grafting. Everything came out pretty good

I went to Nava Dental to have my older crowns checked and Dr Alexandro said four crowns needed to be replaced, would need two root canals and would need to have some gum tissue lowered to clean up some decay below the gum line so there would be a good foundation for the new crowns. I had gone because of recommendations from friends. I said to go ahead. He did the prep work and I was to come back in a month for 3 days to get the root canals, crowns etc. He said since it would be a month he would use dissolvable sutures for my gums. I was obviously all numb when I left the office but, as the normal freezing went away, I realized that I had no feeling, or taste, on the right half of my tongue, just pins and needles feeling. It has been 2 1/2 weeks and the tingles, numbness etc in my tongue is still there. I called the office, and, through the office manager, Dr Nava said it was nothing they did. Yeah, right! Also, the sutures are as firm as ever, not “dissolving” in the slightest. I assume he didn’t use dissolvable sutures and I don’t know to do. There is lots of pain and discomfort, I can’t eat anything but yogurt comfortably because of that, and because the temps don’t fit together properly. Of course I am not going back. I’m returning to Canada early to get a dentist to try and fix what they can. They are reluctant to fix another dentist’s mess but are wiling to give me a consult. Anyway, not impressed. Probably dealing with permanent loss of taste and proper sensation in my tongue and am feeling very discouraged. I would not recommend Nava dental. (Updated Nov 2024. I saw that there was a response from Nava dental 2 months ago, almost a year after my appt and review, that said they reached out to me. They didn’t reach out at all. Thankfully, the numbness resolved itself after about 6 months. My dentist in Canada said that a nerve can be damaged. It is rare but can happen. My issue with Nava was not so much that it happened, but that when I called, I was given the brush off. I see that Nava has good reviews and I don’t want to beat up on them but I feel that they should have acknowledged their problem and the dentist should have spoken to me on the phone when I called. Losing your feeling and taste for months is kind of traumatic and a little reassurance could have gone a long way.)

Nava Dental in Los Algodones is the best! The quality of my new dentures is outstanding! I went to quite a few local dentists to be quoted 20k and more. I saw an ad for the mini implants for thousands less, through Nava Dental and requested more information. I was very tentative about setting an appointment. For the price, I was expecting a not so good service. Dr. Alejandro Nava and his staff in Los Algodones are so thorough and do top notch work. I am so ecstatic with my new implants and dentures. It maybe a little bit of a drive but it is well worth it.

I would like to recognize everyone that works here for a job well done, ultimate customer service, and flexibility of setting appointments. I took my mom here where she had a long procedure done lasting a year till final results. She was happy with it and can finally eat more varieties of food. The location gets a 10/10 as well, if you decide to walk into Los Algodones the walking distance is not far at all just other side of the road. Same goes for distance from the paid parking inside Los Algodones. Great prices as well for the service. 10/10 I recommend this business.

I trustworthy place. Prices are a third of the ones in the states. They also replace or fix for even less if it's their own work. Better know Spanish though.

I spent several months traveling to Nava Dental with my father for a complete dental overhaul, I did not receive the treatment but I was present for all of the visits. He received a full row of implants and a full row of crowns as well as some bone/tissue grafts and root canal along the way. They adjusted the initial plan to accommodate his needs based on his mouth, not a one size fits all approach. Over the course of about 6 months they demonstrated the utmost professionalism and care. In some cases staying way past closing time or opening a little bit early and overall putting patient care above all else. My dad is thrilled with the results, saved thousands of dollars and received world class care. His procedure was stretched over several months to accommodate healing and swelling etc. they didn’t try to rush it into a few days the way multiple local dental offices try to do in the US. Additionally, while sitting in the waiting room during all of these visits I was able to speak to several other clients that had been using Nava for years and had nothing but positive things to say. If you have any reservations about getting dental work done across the border, don’t . This place is outstanding and just a few yards from the border crossing. Highly recommend!

NAVA dental is just fantastic. The dentists are so kind and considerate and their work is excellent. I can park on the American side of the border and the walk to the office across the border is just a couple minutes. And coming back across the border the line is always short and easy. I so appreciate everything NAVA dental has done for me, I have a mouth full of beautiful teeth now that makes eating easy and makes me want to show my smile. The quality of their work is amazing and the cost is so much less than my American dentist plus they fill out my work insurance forms and I am able to submit those for reimbursement as well. Kudos to NAVA dental, they really are difference makers.

My experience at Nava Dental was exceptional! The dentists and other staff were very welcoming and attentive to my needs. After the initial exam, I was provided with an estimate for care and a full explanation of what the related procedures would involve. I approved the work and then relaxed in the dental chair for the start of the procedures. I received a cleaning, crown preparation, root canal and periodontal treatment. I was comfortable throughout each procedure! Nava Dental was recommended to me by a friend who has used Nava Dental for many years. Based on my experience, I too would not hesitate to recommend Nava Dental to my friends! My thanks to the doctors and their exceptional staff!

Jorge did the best dental cleaning job I have ever had. The staff was very friendly. It is best to go on a weekday because on a Saturday - entering Mexico was a simple walk across the border but returning to the US was an hours long wait standing in line.

Including dental, oral surgery, periodontal surgery, crowns, grafts, implants, etc. No running from one specialist office to another and waiting weeks or months for those separate appointments. The doctors are very talented and thorough, explaining everything along the way, and providing the appropriate choices to the patient. I’m delighted with the results and so glad that I found Nava Dental.

This period of time he's done lots of difficult situations on my mouth, everything was there: bone graft, gum operations, root canal, implants, crowns at a very good quality and best price ever, and I could tell you he is the best. He stands behind his work, he's very ambitions to have the outstanding result. Dr. Ernesto and his staff are welcoming and treat you like a family member. Don't hesitate to call if you have big problems like mine.

We have been to Nava Dental several times over the past years. The work they have done is superb, especially the professional job they did on making crowns for my two front teeth. They color matched with the surrounding teeth and it is so close in color no one knows these aren't my own teeth. We like the fact that you can see your Xrays on the screen on the wall and they will show you any issues you may have.

It's the only dentist I will go to. My family has been going to Nava Dental since 2015. Dr Ernesto and Dr Alehandro are great Dentists.

My husband & I have been going to Nava Dental for 6 years. We love both of the dentists which are brothers. They do the best work. I have had a tooth pulled and an implant put in with a crown. Also an old crown replaced. My husband had all his top teeth removed under general anesthesia and had 5 implants placed to have a permanent titanium plate. He also had old crowns replaced. The work was excellent. We go back twice a year for cleanings.

I had a lot of needed dental work that I had been putting off due to the cost. The dentist at NAVA Dental developed a treatment plan that met all of my needs at an excellent price. Even though I had extensive work done I never experienced any pain The entire staff, including the person who scheduled my appointment, were very knowledgeable about dentistry and prepared me for what to expect during my visits. I had 3 lower implants put in to hold my new lower denture. It was an interesting experience. There was some pain but it was a good job. My dentures snap on easily and look great! I also had my upper denture done .. they also look just wonderful & the doctor made sure they fit well. I'm very pleased!

My wife and I have had both Ernesto and Alejandro work on our teeth and are very satisfied. I’m writing this review because I am extremely disappointed. I never take the time to write a review but I feel like if it can help someone else avoid being disappointed it will make me feel better. I was corresponding with the receptionist back in forth about my procedure and was told I would have a response back within a couple days which then turned into a couple weeks all the while I was emailing several times. I kept my cool because I wanted this procedure done so bad so I let a lot slide. But after several emails and 2 phone calls which I was told I would get back to within the next day which obviously did not happen. So I finally called and cancelled my appointment and received no explanation I’m so shocked at the customer service. I will take my business elsewhere and hopefully you won’t experience what I did.

Highly educated and talented dentist dr.Ernesto Nava! Root canals, bone grafting, sinus lift, implants all the above I needed to get done! Going from South Dakota for every procedure no fun! But its totally worth the effort! Not to mention it is one third of the price compared to US prices! Top quality work!!!

I had dental work there a year ago and have been very pleased with them. Very kind and caring dentist, the work has held up well. They came highly recommend to me by family friends and I have recommended them to many people since going.

This a very high tech office with the most up to date equipment and procedures. When necessary they practice microscopic dentistry with Zeiss surgical optics, CAD/CAM digital crown equipment, and FOCUS x-ray generator. I recommend them without reservation because the quality of the dental work IE: crowns, implants, etc., are done by brothers, Alejandro and Ernesto Nava Rivas. I'm impressed with their organization, procedures, and skillful workmanship. I come from a family of dentists/oral surgeons who are now retired or deceased. This is quality family business where caring dentists and assistants do their best to accommodate their patients. They are like family. I'm willing to pay a little more for what I consider the best dental offices in Los Algodones.

I had posted a negative review about Nava Dental not honoring their warranty on my crown but they decided to make my full crown replacement no charge per warranty. In my post I was talking warranty and did not mention the work Dr. Nava does is excellent and the office has state of art technology, much superior to two dentists I have gone to in Mesa AZ. NAVA dental is not the least expensive dentist in Algodonnes but Dr. Nava only does first class work. Dr. Nava is my dentist in Algodonnes and I plan to get another crown done there in December.
