I just got back from my first ever international trip. The main purpose for my partner and I going to Tijuana was to get our teeth cleaned and fixed. Medical tourism is a HUGE industry in Mexico. Especially in Tijuana. This was the dentist office my girlfriend picked. I cannot recommend this place ENOUGH. They are incredible! I have complex health issues and the medication and treatments have ruined my teeth. Decades of nebulizers had left deep and dark stains on my teeth. I hated smiling. My teeth had been my biggest insecurity. The Liberty Dental team gave me my smile back. The staff are so warm and kind. Heck, everyone we encountered while in Tijuana radiated such warmth and positivity. If you are considering going to Tijuana for dental work this is the place to go. Take my word for it, I have spent an ungodly amount of time in and out of the hospital and doctors offices. They are the real deal.

This was my second trip here. The first time I got two root canals, a six-piece crown, and an implant post. This time, I finally got the crown for the implant, plus three more root canals, four more crowns, and a deep clean. Yeah—I’ve had a lot of work done! The whole staff is amazing. Everyone from the dentists to the assistants to the folks in the office treated me with respect and made the process smooth. I actually enjoy coming here, which says a lot for going to the dentist. I’ll be back soon with my fiancée for more work. Highly recommend these guys.

I would like to say that cheap is expensive! The reality is that you pay high costs to be Tijuana, everything would be great if they did a job well done, that is, quality! But it's not! They make pure quachalotadas!! Starting with the so-called doctors who don't know what they are doing and are also very rude and rude, for example the one with long hair and a beard, a jerk. The assistants or apprentices are friendly but with little knowledge, those in the laboratory are the worst, they have teeth, crowns that are all ugly and poorly made, they are not functional, they do not seal the entire tooth or molars and they are also very separated. The posts for implants make them crooked! All bad!! To pay more than $5,000 dlls is not fair! It was a mistake to go with them, I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!

AVOID THIS OFFICE at all costs! After spending over $3,000 on dental work, my implant got infected, and the neighboring crowns need $5,000 in repairs. They promise taxi reimbursements but rarely follow through without constant reminders. Terrible service and accountability. Also, TJ felt unsafe, and the long return lines to the US made the experience even worse. Don’t waste your time here!

Avoid this office at all costs! After spending over $3,000 on dental work here, my implant became infected, and the neighboring crowns they worked on now need to be replaced—costing me an additional $5,000 in repairs. They also claim to cover your taxi expenses, but unless you constantly remind them, they’ll conveniently “forget” and refuse to reimburse you. Terrible service and even worse accountability. Do not go here! In addition, TJ is not a safe place. I always felt uncomfortable going to TJ and then waiting in the long line just to return back to the US. I wasted my time going to this dental office.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I would truly never go back to this place. I came here to get a root canal, 2 weeks after getting it done I was still in a lot of pain so I went back in to see what the problem was. They couldn’t figure it out so I ended up going to a different dentist to get a second opinion, turns out the dentist who performed my root canal had dug way too deep and there was a gaping open hole underneath the root canal that was getting infected. At this point it was too far gone and couldn’t be repaired so I ended up having to get an extraction, bone graft, and implant. That set me back $3,000. They gave me my money back for the root canal but I’m still so upset

My partner had 19 extractions and same day dentures. For someone that spent the last 20 years hiding their smile, this experience was a complete game changer. I've Been coming here to Liberty Dental Tijauna since 2015 Dentistry every bit as professional and office as nice as USA! Difference is you'll save at Least half of your out of pocket expense! Have had two Dr's over the time I've been comibgvhere and both were great! They strive for satisfaction even more than in USA as much of their business is referral based! You can park on SannYsidro they will reimburse for cabs to and from the border. I would drive as they will provide a free medical pass to get you back across the border in your car than if no pass. Ive also found driving beneficial as its more confortable.

I’ve been going to Liberty Dental for a couple of years and recommend it to those in my community who need quality dental work at affordable rates. Most of the staff speaks English and they’re always kind and helpful. I once experienced a moment of anxiety during a procedure and the dentist immediately noticed, stopped, checked in with me, then offered me a mild sedative or a break until I was regulated enough to continue. I’ve had root canals, crowns and deep cleanings at Liberty with no complications, minimal pain and attentive service. I think there can be a deep anxiety around dental work and the staff at Liberty is communicative, non-shaming and kind. I will continue to use their services and recommend them to everyone I know.

I am beyond impressed with Liberty Dental in Tijuana. After cracking a rear molar, I rushed to my dentist in the States, only to be told it wasn't an emergency and my appointment was scheduled for the following week. My wife suggested I try getting it repaired in Tijuana, as her colleagues raved about their experiences and the affordable costs. I researched and found Liberty Dental. I called and spoke with Eric, who assured me they could see me the next day. Traveling to Tijuana, I took a brief 5-minute taxi ride to the clinic. Upon arrival, I was amazed—the office was cleaner and more welcoming than any dentist I've ever visited. Within 10 minutes, I was in a chair discussing my options, with absolutely no upselling. I was so impressed that I decided to get 21 zirconia crowns. The cost was three times less than what I would have paid in the States. Dr. Ramirez performed the work gently, always ensuring I was comfortable. The procedure exceeded my expectations. I received my temporary teeth and returned home, much to my wife’s delight. Five days later, my crowns were ready, and it took only an hour to install them. I cannot express how beautiful they are. They fit my mouth with such precision and accuracy. As Keith Lee would say, "10 out of 10!" I have found my new dentist and highly recommend Liberty Dental. No need to speak Spanish, and the entire experience is extremely safe. Best of luck!

I want to review this again after my treatment has been completed. This place did the best work for the cheapest price in Tijuana. I have a feeling the people who complain came in with teeth that couldn't be repaired or failed to follow instructions. I in no way am being compensated for this and read my other reviews I'm normally negative when I review something but Dr Omar is as good as any cosmetic dentist in the US. He works fast or maybe things go slower in the US because you are billed for every 15 minutes of chair time so making a Procedure take longer is how they bill insurance more money. I have had self esteem issues over my teeth since I was able to realize they were messed up and I had cosmetic work done in the US and Dr Omar essentially fixed that work. Someone also complained that some of the staff wasn't English speaking and I say to them Spanish is the language spoken in Mexico and it seems rather racist to expect English to be spoken fluently in another nation. The work I had done I am so happy was done there and by Dr Omar specifically. Tijuana is very friendly to tourists and don't let fear keep you from going there. I recommend Liberty Dental to anybody who needs Dental work.

Quotes one price on the phone, but charges much more when you get there. I just paid $120 2 layers (quoted me $85 on the phone) in this case, the dentist only needed like 10 minutes to scrape out the old resin, and fill with new. This after having said there was no cavities. I'm going elsewhere next time I need work done. It's not the extre $35, because $120 is still cheap, but it's the way they did business (Dentist is a nice guy though).

Due to this being a public review, I do not want to go in too much detail about my private health information. I went into this dentistry and had two procedures done that I found out later, I didn’t need in the first place. Dr.. Ramirez never took x-rays, never took a mold of my teeth, and proceeded to do 2 root canals. There were several times where he was drilling into my gums while also looking up and flirting with the dental hygienists. I do not believe Dr. Ramirez has training, in fact, I believe that he was training on me. This place is incredibly unprofessional. All of the dental hygienists are very very young girls that all lineup in the bathroom mirror to do their make up ongoing throughout their shifts. They smile, laugh, flirt with the dentists the entire time you are in there. It’s incredibly unprofessional. I have never had a bad experience from any dentist in the United States. Ever since I had work done in Tijuana at liberty dental it has been a nightmare roller coaster of one thing after another with these crowns. I’m begging you to not go here and save yourself thousands of dollars and suffer permanent damage. I have no idea how this AWFUL establishment is rated so highly on Google, in fact it’s extremely disturbing. The one star reviews are telling the truth. This place MUST get shut down. All Americans , cease from going here please! Stay in the US and spend your money there. I am in a lot of pain now and I am two years out from my own procedure. I have a very beautiful smile, straight well taken care of white teeth. I am now missing two of my teeth because of liberty dental and it is a very degrading Halloween feeling to walk around like this. I have throbbing pain in my gums as we speak two years later. I have been in and out of a dentist here more than seven times to fix ongoing issues with the work that I had done at liberty dental. I would give anything to take back the mistake of choosing this place in Tijuana. They do not have the same training that the American doctors have. The front office sales guy, I believe his name might be Hector, was meowing like a cat in my last surgery there. Not even kidding. It was so bizarre. I was crying after my 2nd visit out of fear of what they were doing to me. It was the most horrific experience that I’ve ever had medically.

Dr. German checked so many color variations with the lights on, with fluorescents, Then natural lighting to make sure we had a perfect match. Also asked DA’s to make sure we all had the same answer . Too notch ! I had concerns because I do whiten my teeth. Also , 2 year warranty on the dental work . .. I take all my friends And family. Office staff is incredible as well. Everyone speaks English . Only now, after two years of treatment at Liberty Dental Clinic, I'm allowing myself to write a review of my experience and thoughts about this clinic. The reason I waited two years is that they warranty their work for that period, so I wanted to make sure they would treat me well if any problems occurred.after they will read my review. Unfortunately, I had multiple issues with the work they did. In the first three to six months, or even less, I had crowns that broke and cracked. This meant they had to numb the area, remove the bad crown, (sometimes two crowns), give me a temporary, and have me come back a week later for the new crowns. This happened to me at least three different times with different crowns. I had to travel multiple times from San Diego to Tijuana, and take my word, it's never fun to cross the border and stand in line for the entrance to the US. In all cases, they blamed me, by the way, for biting or chewing too hard. So basically, it was my fault that the crowns were cracked and broken, not because of a bad doctor or bad laboratory work. The original doctor who took care of me was Dr. Omar. Not only is he a very bad doctor, more like a butcher, but he is also a very rude and unpleasant person who doesn't speak a word of English. I've been treated by bad doctors in the past, but I can say Dr. Omar is the worst of them all. After all my crowns and bridges were done, I was not happy with the work and asked for a different doctor from this clinic. They gave me Dr. German, who was a very gentle and nice doctor, but I can't tell you if he's a great doctor because he couldn't really fix all the previous work that was done before. He did replace the broken crowns, but obviously, we couldn't redo the whole mouth from the beginning. So, Dr. German did his best to fix the bad work from Dr. Omar, but I can't say I'm happy with the results because the overall bad work from Dr. Omar could not be fixed by changing one or two crowns. None of the doctors speak English in this clinic, and they always have to call a translator from the front desk. There are only two good things about Liberty Dental. One is that they have parking outside if you drive there, and the second is one of the coordinators who speaks English very well, is very polite, and is very professional, and he's the only reason I even started treatment at this clinic. This guy's name is Emmanuel, and he really is a great guy, but I was told he no longer works with customers directly, unfortunately for them because he's the only guy I could trust. About a year after the treatment, when I came for a few repairs, I told them I was not happy with the aesthetic of the bad work Dr. Omar did and the bad work of the laboratory. But at that time, I just didn't feel like removing ten or more crowns and redoing them again. I'm not sure if they would even do that for me without a charge, but mentally, I couldn't go through this again, so I left it as it is. However, the more time passed, and every morning I looked at myself and the work they had done, I did not like it. So finally, almost towards the end of the two years of the warranty, I decided to contact them, telling them that I'm not happy with the work they have done, and I want to redo it. They told me, of course, no problem. So, my first question was if they would charge me for redoing it, and the answer was very clear, yes, of course, we have to redo it, it costs money, and I'll be charged again. So, I told them, in that case, I'm not interested in doing it with them because I already know how bad the quality of their work is, and the bad quality of the laboratory they are working with. So, of course, if I have to pay again, I will have to go to someone that this time I trust can do a better job. The bottom line is, I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for high-quality work. For average work or below that, it might work for you, but if you're looking for good quality, Liberty Dental Clinic is the last place you want to go.

This place is a five start. I went in from Saab diego. Everyone was kind, they spoke English good, so if your Spanish is not great like mine. I had an emergency root canal that needed to be done that medical wouldn’t authorize, I sent him my dentist x ray. Gave me a Saturday appointment with a medical pass! And was home in no time! Absolutely so so greatful for this place!

I think the dental is better in Mexico than it is in the USA. I like the way everything has been so far. The implant they put in didn’t last Is year. It was strange. I think the place is nice. They need a coffee machine. I judge Is place based on their coffee! If you’re there in the morning! At least a box of doughnuts and coffee for the ones waiting on the mean streets of Tijuana. The Chinese restaurant on the end is really great. Egg with tomatoes are my favorite! They’re so nummy. Makes up for no doughnuts and coffee!

Liberty Dental was recommended to me by my San Diego chiropractic office. I had broken a crown, and was in need of an implant. The first dentist in Tijuana that I had visited for the tooth I was not very impressed with. Liberty was able to get me in the day after I messaged them, which was a Saturday. They were very easy to find, not even 5 minutes from the border. All of the staff is super friendly and the doctors are very quick and skilled. Dr. Omar did most of my treatment for my crown and was easy to talk to and very thorough. You can also purchase a medical pass after your visit, so that you don't have to wait in the long line to get back into California. I will be bringing friends with me on my next visit for teeth cleaning and other services!

I waited one year to write this review because I wanted to be able to verify and be very honest about the incredible service that Liberty Dental Clinic had provided to me. I made two trips over the last two years out of the county to the clinic. Every conversation and every visit was the best service that I have experienced in all the travel and dental work that I have received Worldwide. I’ve never left a bad review before usually when I have bad service, I honestly just let it go because I would never want to affect a businesses clientele, I’m a pretty easy-going person, and I always have respect. This dentist was kind to me yes but the work they did I’m extremely disappointed. My teeth were perfect when I walked in there. Well, at least they looked perfect. I needed two root canals, and four crowns. I asked before they did the crowns if they were going to look like my actual teeth. they said I can’t get them the exact color, but I will get them as close as possible. They let me choose a color for my crowns, which is not the color of crowns they actually put on my teeth. I also asked if the shape of the crowns were gonna be close to the shape of my actual teeth. The crowns that they put on which mind you one of them is my front tooth none of them are the same size shape, or color. I’m embarrassed to go around friends or to even smile or take a picture. I spent 572$ on an air bnb 400$ in gas to drive to Mexico WITH MY 20 MONTH OLD TODDLER and I spent 2490$ at the dentist. It was all a waste of money. I couldn’t afford the dentist work in the US but I’d of rather kept all that money I’d spent and wasted on bad work then to have the work I had. I can’t even look at myself and smile without wanting to cry. I just left the dentist with the mentality to just get my son home safely and I can’t do anything about it they’d already put the teeth on. If you are from the US save your money and get good work you’ll be happy with in the US. Don’t be like me. I hope this truly helps someone because I’ll never forgive myself. Here’s before and after pictures for reference The teeth are noticeably fake (which they told me they wouldn’t be) 10x whiter than my teeth and I look like I have 3 front teeth because they didn’t shape the teeth to my actual teeth or even remotely close. It took so long to save thousands of dollars to do this I’m a single mom. Now I’ll be embarrassed for years until I can save money month by month to get the work done correctly. Every time I talk to someone I can see them staring at my teeth because it’s a natural reaction when you notice something different. I have a huge complex etc. I apologize for the bad review but customers deserve the truth and I don’t want another person to go through this. I’d of been happy with an honest review from the Business upfront if they would’ve told me, my teeth weren’t going to be the same size shape, or color up front that would have given me the opportunity to make my own decision but that was taken away from me when I didn’t get the services that I was promised

I went there twice three months ago for the first time. I've never got dental work in Mexico before. I barely know the language. I was absolutely scared. I was so nervous I may have bit the doctors finger. But I'm so glad I did. It was totally worth it. They were very patient with me and very professional. They knew what they were doing. I had a root canal and needed a crown. I got both of them done on two visits. They even gave me a warranty with the crowns(so they'll fix it free if anything bad happens.). I've been living painless and happy since. Also, they all speak English. Don't worry you got this!

In general the service is good. Specifically I recommend Dr. German. He did a great job, from the beginning to the end. His team works very well synchronized, everyone knows what to do and when to do it. The procedure was pain free, almost no bleeding, no swelling. They gave me meds for pain and inflammation, and I did not have to use them. I highly recommend the services of this clinic. Convenient location, plenty of parking and free.

DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS! I’ve always had great teeth well taken care of by trusted American dentists. Found out I needed my first crown and my insurance didn’t cover it so thought I would check out TJ. Saw mostly good reviews at the time and of course Was excited to pay 1/3 the price for my first crown. The process went smoothly with two visits. Left feeling like the gum was a little irritated but because this was my first crown, I assumed this was normal. Unfortunately I have seen two dentists in the US who informed me that the crown does not fit correctly. None of them will touch it and unbeknownst to me, you can’t just readjust or refit a crown- it has to be completely removed and remade. I was very upset to hear this news so I drove back across the border to Liberty Dental today since their work was supposedly “guaranteed”. Not so. They looked at my tooth, did an xray and concluded nothing was wrong. I’ve noticed swelling and some bleeding of the gum and after not one but TWO seasoned American dentists told me I need a new crown, I must naturally conclude this is true. The short bald guy at Liberty Dental suggested the American dentists were “not licensed” or just trying to get my money- ridiculous- in the US dentists are licensed - it’s not like Mexico; and one of the dentists who told me my crown was bad is a family friend who has practiced for 45 years. The bald guy went round and round arguing with me. I finally took my bib off and said I’m not going to continue to talk in circles, and left very frustrated and unhappy. I am now out $500 and will have to pony up the money to get a replacement crown. What’s more, I’m concerned this poorly fitted crown may cause more problems and cost me even more money. I would Not recommend them to anyone based on my experience. I’ve never had anything like this happen. Looking at some of the reviews, it appears that I’m not the only one who has had issues with crowns from these guys. Do yourself a favor and find someplace else. And heads up- A lot of these glowing reviews for these clinics are bogus. You have no legal recourse if something goes really wrong, either. Teeth are too important to take a risky gamble on… i entrusted unprofessional and unskilled “dentists” and I’m embarrassed I allowed myself to be swindled but hope this review will keep others from going through the same nightmare. Sure some ppl may have good experiences but do you really want to play Russian roulette with your teeth?!

My husband and I are currently awaiting to board our flight home at San Diego airport. Spent the last week in Tijuana for some dental work. We went to Liberty Dental Center because others had mentioned them on fb groups. No language barriers or issues as they have multiple staff who speak very good English. They see patients on a first come first serve basis. Go early when they open at 8am. Sign in and wait a bit to be called in. You'll get questions on what you're wanting to have done or fixed, then full exam and xrays. The exam and xrays are free, you decide what kind of work you want done after. They did not pressure us in getting anything we didn't ask for. Both my husband and I had work done that day, they saw and worked on both us us simultaneously. Husband had several root canals and zirconia crowns made. I had a bridge and crowns installed due to a missing tooth and teeth whitening. Neither had any pain, just some gum soreness afterwards, which is expected. I've had more pain from one root canal work here in the USA, than my husband with his eight root canals. If you have anything like crowns, bridge type work, expect 2 appointments. First appointment they work on your issues and install temporary crowns, then 2nd appointment they installed the real permanent crowns. It can be done within a matter of days. We went in on a Saturday for all work (yes, expect a long day if having extensive work) and got permanent crowns installed the following Tuesday. My husband is leaving Mexico with a whole new smile. Hope this helps others. Yes, service was top notch and I'll definitely go back for future work and refer family and friends. Thanks

good afternoon I need to let it be known that Liberty Dental Clinic was very professional, caring, and attentive to me and my family when we went in for dental work. We went in for advice and dental problems, we walked out of there with more knowledge of our needs and wants due to the fact of the services provided by the entire staff. My kids needed small dental work that was done same day, fast and accurate really good prices and my kids were never in pain. I needed more extensive work due to my age and me not taking care of my teeth the way I should have. My Dentist Omar came and explained the options that were available in my case for my needs. Once again prices were reasonable because of my individual needs (more) Doctor Omar at the time it was my turn to get on the chair I was a little scared but once we got started it was like as if a family member was doing the dental work as my dentist Omar was working on my teeth, he would explain step by step each time this gave me more confidence. I will return to Liberty Dental Clinic for all my future dental needs & never be seen by a US dentist again (unless it’s an emergency). Dr. Omar Guevara & his multiple assistants did an amazing job creating my new smile & I am thrilled. I had 12 extractions, four implants, healing dentures, a reline, then permanent dentures. My original quote was honored & was less than quotes for just the extractions from US dentists. The entire staff is professional & obviously well-trained & very efficient. They work well together & made me feel confident that I was in good hands. Administrators Ricardo & Abelardo explain everything both in person & via email in perfect English & are available to answer any questions you may have. The office is clean & sterile & beautiful plus they have their own laboratory. There was no pain & the [something]caine shots were fast-acting. They gave me a pill “for anxiety” which I totally appreciated. I extensively researched Tijuana dentists before choosing Liberty Dental Clinic & I am proud that I picked the best one. Wow, they exceeded my expectations. Googled them and liked that they take same day walk ins. Was welcomed immediately and they saw all 4 in my family right away...they allowed me in each room with my boys and then took me next. Very light hands by all the staff and happy smiles and energy. My two twins 13 yo and myself both got cleaning at a very reasonable rate. But my husband needed a few major procedures, and he walked out with an all new mouth!!! Took 6 hrs but wow! He got full crowns/veneers. I was impressed how everything was done same day. It is costly, but I feel worth it because my husband has wanted this for years. The whole experience was very good. They were very good at answering questions via text, and were great at the whole process. Easy to walk across the border, and the taxi drivers all knew where to go. The dentist was patient with me, and was great at the pain killers injections. The whole process should be done everytime, much better then in the states. Follow up 4 months later.. had some issues with my crown, and I've sent 4 emails in 10 days, and no responses yet. Seems discouraging that they may not back up their work as they claim too. More updates will follow.

Went into an appointment at 10am, thought I was doing just a consultation. But ended doing procedure that day and was complete by 1pm. 3 root canals, 3 crowns, all for 1/2 price of USA cost. Felt no pain, and they even have free beverages while you wait. If I could give 10 stars I would, highly highly recommended. Dr. Guevaya and his assistant madicruz, were amazing. Eric the administrator made sure everything t was as smooth as can be. This place is beyond amazing.

I feel very fortunate after two not so good consults to have found Liberty Dental Clinic they are state of the art, clean, honest and affordable. This was my first time crossing border to get dental care and cannot believe how easy they make it for their patients. They will provide onsite medication so you don’t have to go to a pharmacy afterwards, you get a medical pass to cross back to US quickly, they are only two miles or less from border crossing, free and safe parking/location (I drove on my own). They have their prices on their website which says a lot about their honesty. I feel so grateful to have found this clinic as I needed an implant that I just could not afford back home. Dr Guevara is knowledgeable , kind, fully bilingual and gentle, all the qualities you want in a dentist!

I had a root canal and crown done here. I found out the zirconia crown I purchased was actually metal and the crown fell off just a little over a year later. I am now completely losing the tooth after multiple gum infections, ear infections etc. I wouldn't recommend this place. These people are dishonest and the quality of work is poor.

I read all the reviews which is why I chose Liberty. Everyone was friendly and the work was done very fast. They got me in and out quickly. Unfortunately, 2 of the crowns I had them replace both hurt to chew on almost 4 months later. I have had many crowns and this is a first for me to have not just 1, but both be bothersome. I don’t know if they ground off too much tooth enamel or what? I can’t figure out why they hurt to chew on. Both of those crowns did not have pain prior. I only had them replaced because they were getting old. One crown they gave me is not esthetically pleasing. I don’t know if they got my impressions wrong or what but they gave me a short stubby crown that looks nothing like the previous one. The other crown I got had a huge gap so food gets stuck in it constantly. I’m surprised they would have seated a crown that didn’t fit right. I also had a root canal done that I believe failed. Almost 4 months later and that took hurts still. It didn’t hurt previously to the root canal but now even when I just touch my face while washing it, I can feel the nerve pain. I did contact them and they said they will fix it. It’s just inconvenient because I live in Oregon so it’s not like I can just walk across the border. After seeing the reviews, I had high expectations so naturally, I’m frustrated with the work I received but I will update my review after I go back in July.

We heard about liberty dental from a family friend. Coming from Texas was a journey for sure but it was worth it. We have come back several times to get our procedures done and it has been an amazing experience. Timely and above and beyond service all around made the travel and distance worth it as well. I did go there with my husband from San Diego for a routine check up and cleaning! The Dr seemed knew NOTHING about Dentisrty! He basically didn’t even take any X-ray whatsoever! I think he didn’t feel like doing his job that day ! He rushed out the door and told me I don’t need any work done on my teeth. How do you assess without seeing some X-rays??? I had also a girl who did my cleaning but she was so new to her job and took soooooo long to finish the job !she dropped her tools left and right ! It was so so and I didn’t think it was worth $60 and my time for what we got ! Same with my husband! The equipments are so outdated and the place seemed to be more of a chop shop ! If you are looking for a quality job look somewhere else ! There are many more dental places in Tijuana!

My husband and I drove from Murrieta CA. Dr. Galvin is the Dr. who did my Root Canel, 6 unit bridge. I appreciate these guys. They do an amazing job. I've sent many people there from LA and Orange county after having all four of my front teeth replaced. I have one implant and three crowns on the top front row of my jaw, and 8 years later they are still perfect and look amazing. No one has ever noticed that they are not my original teeth. I went there today with a friend of mine and I feel like the service is the same as it was 8 years ago. When you arrive, they pay for your cab and welcome you in. When you leave, they call the cab for you and pay the fare as well. Don't hesitate and don't be afraid of going to Tijuana to get your teeth done. The quality of work is on point, and you will be amazed at how much you save. Seriously. Park in the parking lot behind the Jack in the box on the US side for 12$ and walk across in no time at all. If the line getting back into the US is out of control on your way back, buy a 10$ bus pass from one of the guys with the yellow tickets, and you'll get across the border in about 25-40 minutes instead of an hour and a half to three hours. If you're concerned, and you don't trust the guy, have him walk you to the bus and pay him when you get there, he'll give you a yellow ticket, The guy at the window of the bus place will check your passport and yellow ticket, stamp it a few times, you'll hop on a decently comfortable bus and they'll take you across the border and lead you to the short line at customs. This is the way.

If you are looking to get an implant done I highly recommend you look elsewhere. For minor things they may do ok work, but in my experience anything beyond that you should go somewhere else. I had an implant done and the implant was not placed correctly no guide was used and it is sitting at a very noticeable angle(have had several specialist look at it and all agree it was not done properly). The crown they placed on the implant looked terrible.. the color and shape of it stood out like a sore thumb. I commented to them on how it looked, but they acted as if it was as good as it could possibly get. Thankfully I found another dentist here in Tijuana same prices, but does very professional detailed work. He removed the old crown and made me a new one that I couldn't be happier with. I have nothing against their staff they all seemed friendly, but I absolutely can't recommend them for front crowns or implants

The staff is really friendly and answered all my questions promptly, whether it was over the phone or through txt, they speak and write in English very well. The location was easy to get to and not far from the border. I appreciate the cleanliness of their office and the quick turnaround from the doctor. Omar Guevara was the one who worked on me, did a root canal and had me out in about an hour, and when I went back for the crown I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. He was very professional and friendly as well, he worked efficiently and never made me feel like my work was rushed. I have had similar work done for cheaper elsewhere but it was further out the way, smaller space and not as clean looking and they only took cash. At Liberty they accept credit cards, just make sure you're away or any foreign transaction fees. All in all a good experience and would recommend them to anyone needing dental work.

Dental work is still expensive, but Liberty Dental was 1/2 the price I would pay in Los Angeles. Excellent, modern clinic, friendly staff, fluent in English (I speak conversational Spanish, but don't know dental terminology -- and you needn't worry if you don't speak any Spanish at all). If you want, they will pay for a cab from and back to the border (check out instructions with them, if you're doing this for the first time) -- or, if you're like me, and like to walk: it's a very pleasant 1/2 hour walk to the clinic, and you get to see a bit of Tijuana other than the inside of a dentist's office. Whichever works for you. The dental work is professional all the way. Five stars, for sure.

I went to my dentist here in CA and was told after my insurance, I would have to pay $980 for one crown. I went to Liberty Dental and paid $800 for 2 crowns! One was zirconia and the other, porcelain. They look great!!! The people in the office are incredibly helpful and all speak fluent english. I will be returning to finish the rest of my dental work!!

This is by far the smoothest dental experience I have had. I went in for an extraction. I was nervous of course but was met with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The exams and x rays were free and they were able to complete the extraction right after. The entire process took less than an hour and cost significantly less than dental offices in San Diego. Three months ago I had 4 root canals and 19 crowns installed by Liberty Dental. My wife had a few root canals and 2 implants done. We were referred here by my wife's brother who had work done a year prior and was very happy. Three months later, all is well. Highly recommend this dental clinic. Had a broken crown and they had me in and out with a temporary crown within 90 minutes. I walkd here from the border. Came back the following week and placed the permanent crown within half hour of arriving. Dr Galvan was the dentist. I honestly wasn't satisfied with the work. I had implants put in 6 months ago and since the process started I was numb on the right side of my lip. At every visit I told the doctor and he never did anything, he didn't believe me and said that everything was fine. Right now I can't eat on the right side and my lip is still numb. This job costs a lot of money for them to not do the job well. They've already finished the job and the veneer they put in is all poorly made because if you look at it from the front it's very pretty but on the inside it looks like I have another extra tooth, so I honestly don't recommend them. I need other implants but I won't do them there again.

I was recommended to Liberty Dental from 2 friends who have been there before. I have been putting off dental work and got to the point where I saw a local dentist in my area who did xrays and told me I needed a molar root canal and 7 crowns with gum treatment and cleaning. The total cost would have been $8030.00 with out the root canal. They were going to send me to a endodontist for the root canal which could have cost upwards of $1500.00 or more totalling around 10k for all the work I needed. Liberty Dentals total was $3340.00 Lucky for me I have 2 very good friends who live in Imperial beach ca and had a place to stay. I took the trolley to San Ysidro and walked across the border into TJ. I took a cab to Liberty Dental which they paid for the cab. Liberty Dental on a 1 to 10 for cleanliness is a 10+ spotless and the people up front speak English and are very nice. The Dentist I had Dr Omar Guevara spoke English and was very nice and good with 15 years experience. I felt I was in good hands. All the cleaning and prep and root canal was completed in a cpl hours or so. I went in on a Monday and had to return Wednesday for the crowns. The Doctor did 5 of the 7 and informed me that the lab had to redo 2 of the Crowns so I had to wait another day and return. They paid my cab back to the border but I had to wait in the line for about an hour and a half walking bk into the U.S. I decided to drive to Liberty Dental for the final 2 crowns. I googled it and I kid you not I was there in 10 or less minutes and when I was all finished they give you a medical pass to return to the U.S so you go in a special lane and you are bk in the U.S in 15 minutes. Without a medical pass you can wait hours returning in a car in those lines. Liberty Dental is great and I give them a 10 for my personal experience. If you see any bad reviews its BS. I saw 1 when I was reading reviews and all the many others were all great. If you decide to drive there its no problem going but on your return watch the signs and make sure you go in the Medico lane. You will see a line of cars after you make the last right turn and the Medico (medical) is to the right of the line. Its a 1 way street. I would highly recommend this dental office. I had a great experience. I had dental implants and they are very well done amd comfortable. I needed bone graph and they used my own blood to help it heal and not get rejected. Someone came to withdraw my blood. I was provided with a temporary partial while I waited to get my implants permanently attached. Also I was able to use my flexible spending account from work to get reimbursed. The prices are ideal as well.

After weeks of debilitating pain I went to Liberty Dental and as soon as I walked in there I could tell those guys cared about their patients. Great staff. Super helpful. I don't speak enough Spanish to navigate an oil change, but Able and Hector paved the way to make sure I received all the care I needed. They even helped me find a nearby mechanic on one of my trips!!! I've had three implants including tooth extractions and bone grafts as well as several crowns all for a small fraction of what it would cost in the U.S. even with decent dental insurance. Just be prepared to make a few trips off you're planning implants. Update; I just finished a big implant job. Dr. Guevara is the best. I feel very well cared for when I'm in his chair. The whole team works well together and leaves me feeling super safe and supported.

I drove down from Orange County, California because it cost me $430 for this procedure including medication and an office in CA was trying to charge me $1200+. Each tooth took about an hour to extract because they were growing completely horizontal, but the local anesthetic was enough to make it fairly comfortable. Dr. Omar Guevara did not speak English, so there was a language barrier, but he was very respectful and would consistently ask “pain?” whenever I would win. There are also plenty of English-speaking staff that come in and out of the room when needed to translate. They gave me a free steroid shot in my butt to help with pain and inflammation since my procedure required a lot of cutting and digging. Thank you Dr. Omar for dealing with my complicated case and doing it flawlessly. SPANISH I had my two lower wisdom teeth pulled horizontally here and had a great experience (well, the best experience one can have undergoing such traumatic surgery, haha). Dr. Omar has provided all my dental care for approximately 4 years now and I would highly recommend him. He’s truly an amazing dentist. He’s thorough, precise and explains exactly what to expect and loves his job. You couldn’t ask for more. In fact, I shudder at the thought of going to an American dentist after being treated by Dr. Omar. He’s easy to visit (they pay your cab care to and from the border). I had 2 root canals done in the US 10-15 years ago and ended up losing my 2 molars as a result of the awful work done by the American dentists (even complained to one who basically said too bad; you probably just have a cracked tooth). When Dr. Omar did the root canal he drilled, took an x-ray, drilled some more, took another x-ray, etc. to be sure he had gotten all the infection/damage. I’ve never had an American dentist even check their work. I could do television commercials for Dr. Omar I think so highly of him. Plus it’s clear his staff does also as it obvious the closeness they have throughout the office (many hug & kiss {on the cheek} when they greet in the morning). That says mountains too me. It also shows in their attitudes and service to their patients. They go out of their way to explain or help you in any way they can. Lastly their facility is spotless and I’ve never been there that I didn’t see several employees cleaning. I would highly recommend Dr. Omar and Liberty Dental to anyone who wants an excellent dentist (not just a run-of-the-mill American dentist - many of whom don’t seem to care about your dental health, they’re just trying to sell cosmetic dentistry). Make an appointment with Dr. Omar and you’ll bless the day you met him. He truly is an exemplary dentist.

These guys are the best! I've had LOTS of dental work over the years. I know good dental practices and good hygiene. They excel at both. After receiving a quote in San diego for almost $22,000 I started researching options in Tijuana. I found liberty dental with their 4.8 star review. They prepped me for 16 crowns and 1 root canal in one day. Came back in 1 week and everything was ready and fit like a dream! Dr German checked my bite multiple times and changed gloves multiple times. His technicians were all very professional and helpful. They will send a taxi to the border and take you back if you want but it's a really easy drive to their office. The cost was about 1/3 of u.s. Can't recommend them enough!

I would give more stars if I could. I cannot say enough good things about this dental clinic.They are located close to the border and very easy to find. Not only is Liberty the best dental clinic I've ever been to in Mexico, it's one of the best dental clinics I've EVER been to. The clinic is new, modern, and squeaky clean. I had a zirconia cap to replace the old cap that broke. Because the cap was zirconia I had to wait a day to have it installed. On both visits I was seen a couple of minutes earlier than my appt. time. In 70 years I don't think I've ever been seen on time in a dentist office. I got a 2 year guarantee with the crown and a medical pass for the short line to return to the USA. Plus I got to eat lots of the best street food in the world while waiting for the crown to be made. Came with a recommendation from a friend and ended up paying 25% the price I was facing with my dentist in Orange County WITH insurance! Front desk staff speak English, and the dentist spoke good enough English to instruct me during the procedure. The facility is very professional and clean, and about a 5 minute taxi ride from the border. I started my communications over email, and though it was already after hours they gave me a quote and a tentative appointment, which put me at ease, as I was having an emergency (which my American dentist was no help with; almost felt like they wanted me to stay in pain for two days so I would be desperate to pay for their high prices when it turned out my insurance didn’t cover the specialist). Honestly, I had anxiety going in making the trip, but it was all completely unfounded. This whole experience could not have gone smoother. This is unrelated, but I dropped a dollar heading back to the border, and a man chased me down to return it to me, which would probably never happen in Southern California. Don’t fear, if you need dental attention please give Liberty a call!

Hector is awesome and Emanuel, who helped me mostly was not as personable but I appreciate him. Everyone was nice and helpful, I gave four stars, because the first dentist was kind of careless taking my X-rays to the point I can’t enjoy my bottom denture due to sores in my mouth from the object used. This was a big deal because I’m so quiet and was grateful that I just shed tears and held the pain in. No One in the room seemed to care or maybe it was a language issue. I don’t know but I requested a new Dentist, Dr. Omar, and he was awesome!! He introduced himself, life tends to my concerns and handle me with care. If I come back, I will only see Dr. Omar. Otherwise I am pleased and they are very affordable. Once I’m able to fully enjoy my new smile, maybe I can change this rating to 5 stars. My husband loves his deep cleaning and I am happy for the dentists for this. Please plan your day there, for you may be there all day depending on procedures done

Best clinic, its my first time going back to the dentist after yearsssssss. I chose to go in this clinic because its cheaper than L.A. The staff are really nice and caring if you feel nervous.. They checked up on me every now and then coz i was there for 6 hrs doing different procedures. I had i think 7 root canals, crowns, fillings and a bridge. I may not understand my dentist coz he only speaks Spanish which is expected coz I am in Tijuana, but his work is good, i see how he is careful on checking each tooth by doing x-rays when he is doing root canal to make sure all is good. And plus too is that they are not pushy in their services compared in my experience here in LA that they try to give you different allibis for you to pay more. I believe this clinic is trustworthy, highly recommended ??????

I went to liberty dental about 4 almost 5 years ago. It was at a different smaller office but same dentist. I had 5 root canals done very quickly in one day. All the crowns I got didn’t feel right not very well done. Found out 2 years later they are all failing because they were not sealed properly. I am now dealing with infection in one of the root canals and will need to get all of the work redone with implants. I would recommend doing some research and going somewhere else.

On a recommendation from a friend, I went to have a crown and also took my sister and son who needed extensive dental work. Our apt. was to be there between 8 and 9am. I was the first to have work, which didn't take long. The doctors and staff worked all day on my son and sister. While it was not a pleasant experience, they were happy that they were able to get so much done. 3 days later my crown was ready along with my sisters. My son had temporaries put on that look great. They will return in 6 months. There is no reason to pay inflated fees for the same work we can get in Mexico! If you live in the USA, come and get affordable work done on your teeth at this office. We flew from Seattle and it was not a big deal. You will be so happy. Thank you Doctors and Staff!

liberty dental clinic is amazing! I drove 8 hours from Northern California to come here. This place is super clean and they are so organized and kind. The prices are great and they are really there to help you! I went there wanting a new smile, which I most definitely got, but I also found out that I had to get 2 root canals which they did for me! They made everything so easy, I made 2 visits over a span of 3 days and I left with the perfect smile I’ve always wanted. I can not thank them enough! Have already recommended liberty dental clinic to serveral friends and will go back if ever in need of great dental work.

This dentist office is super clean and the staff is very friendly. They are very clear about the charges and what they are doing before they do it so you can agree to the work or ask any questions. They are also bilingual which is great for me since I don’t speak Spanish. They provide clear instructions for how to get here with pictures so you know you’ve arrived at the correct place. I would definitely recommend coming here if you need any dental work.

This is a very professional, and fantastic dental practice. Their facilities are modern sterile and clean. A little known fact is that Mexican dentists are more well-trained then the average American dentist (as Mexican dentists train to what would be a specialty in the US), and Liberty has some of the best. I had a broken molar, and they were able to fix it on short notice and did an absolutely outstanding job. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for high-quality work at a reasonable price. I just went again, same experience! I would refer anyone here. I broke a tooth this time, so it was an emergency. They got me in, same day of calling, root canal, post and temporary crown. Several dentists in OC, requires multiple visits just for the above and availability was over a week out...for the "assessment". If you have an exposed nerve that....well just doesnt work. Again superior quality, modern sterile facilities. I would bet my bottom dollar that they are nicer than the current US facility you go to. Again, superior work at a fraction of the cost...by fraction i mean small fraction, you will be amazed! Thank you again LD! Hip hip hooray!

Wife needed dental implants. They offered them at a much lower price than in San Diego where we live. The process required multiple steps which meant multiple visits. Border crossings can be troublesome but they made things better by offering to pay for our taxi rides to and from the dental office. Clean and large facilities, friendly dentists and staff who spoke good English. We had a good experience here. Saved a lot of money. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Excellent Dentists! Dr. German Gastelum knows what he's doing. I love that he explains everything of what he's doing to you before during and after as I'm terrified of the dentist! He has an excellent calm demeanor in making me feel comfortable and calm. This place saved my tooth. The dentist in Cali wanted to charge me $600 just for the Anesthesia to extract the tooth! plus $118 for extraction. Here I got a root canal and a beautiful porceline crown both for $500 u.s dollars vs $2,700 to 3,000 in the U.S. I highly recommend this place. I love it here as it has been very hard for me to find a Dentist who makes you feel at ease and comfortable and the prices are AMAZING!

If you’re looking for a dentist in Tijuana, you want to come to this one. I traveled from Los Angeles to see them, thinking I only needed a wisdom tooth removal, but ended up having a broken and infected crown. They took care of me like no dentist office I’ve ever been to. The price for the dental implant and wisdom tooth removal were a fraction of the estimated cost in California. Their office is very CLEAN and very PROFESSIONAL. On our first visit, the owner greeted us upon walking into the door, and reimbursed us for our cab fare. The staff speak great English if needed, and they always did a great job of explaining the procedure to me to help me understand and feel comfortable. When I had an issue with my temporary crown, they had an after hours number we could text, and they were very responsive. I could go on about how much I love this dentist, but ultimately I’ll say that I’m so happy I decided to take the 2.5 hr drive and wait in the long line to cross the border to see this dentist. And I would recommend it to anyone who asked. Completely worth it.

I needed to get a post and build up on my tooth (that I had a root canal on in the US)and then a crown on top. The 2 visits I had were quick! I only spent $500 in total! That literally saved me $700! I’ve been a patient of Liberty Dental for over 3 years now and have had numerous dental procedures done here. I’ve always had a good experience. They pay for your taxi if you walk into Tijuana or provide a medical pass if you drive. My last visit in July took me 10 minutes to cross back to San Diego. They also cover xrays and cleaning and the staff are all attentive. I would recommend Liberty Dental for their quality work and great prices.

Great staff who is super nice, and talented beyond my scope of comprehension; based on prior experiences in the US. I had 3 front teeth that were just really bad off they needed root canals and had to have caps put on I seriously would never smile because my teeth were terrible. I’ve never been to a dentist where they have treated you so nice, I’ve been embarrassed to even go to the dentist just because how they made me feel about my bad teeth. Every single person at this dentist office is so kind, thoughtful, and caring. I left there feeling like they were family and with a brand new smile that I’m just amazed with how fast, cheap, and painless the process was. Just wanted to share my experience about Dr.Omar Guevara who put my zirconium crowns today. I felt really uncomfortable and had a feeling that he is in a such rush trying to make everything done quickly and not carrying about the patient at all. Talking to me pretty roughly and not even saying bye when he finished. I have such a bad feeling after dealing with him.

Best Dental Office in TJ! I was looking for a good dentist and I saw lots of great reviews about this office, so I gave them a try and have them work on my teeth. I had some gum infections under my old bridge and 12 teeth needed to be replaced. Since they gave me a good and reasonable price, I decided to go with their best material-zirconia. Their work is top notch! I’m really happy with the work they did. They’re clean, fast and efficient. Dr. Galvan’s hands does wonders. He is very precise. They also have lots of good dental assistants teaming up to help you feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll be coming back for more with my family and friends dental needs. Give them a try and call. You’ll be talking to one of their administrators or representatives and they will explain and walk you through the process professionally. They value your dental needs and will surely take care of you. I’m done with my research for a good dentist. This is it for me and my family.

I got a full mouth restoration. 14 extractions, 8 implants. And 12 crowns, plus a full upper set of crowns. Great doctors and great staff. Dr Omar is very caring. I have had to visit so many dentists in the States. And besides the huge cost difference, I have never received the care I received from Liberty staff anywhere else. You got a new customer for life, but I don't think I will ever need to see you or any other dentist in my life after the great job you did on my teeth.

Can't say enough about this place. I was hesitant about going out of the country for dental care, but only a little. Got used to great care at little or no cost from years in Britain and the NHS. American health care is ridiculous. I have bad teeth from yeàrs of antibiotics as a child. I had a broken tooth, A fractured one, and one missing. I knew they were weak and probably wouldn't support crowns. Dr. Galvan and his team extracted the teeth and inserted implants. X-rays looked good and no pain, swelling or bleeding. Have to heal for the crowns, but that's the easy part. Excellent work! The clinic supplied everything. antibiotics, pain killers (not necessary), etc. Brilliant. Cost? About a third of what I was quoted in the USA. Don't believe the hype. American medical care is grossly overpriced compared to the rest of the world. You can get as good if not better care elsewhere at a reasonable price. Liberty Dental is clean, modern, first class. If someone had told me that I could have three teeth extracted and feel no pain, swelling, and just a little bleeding I wouldn't have believed them. Dr. Galvan did it. Couldn't be more grateful and impressed.

I needed a root canal and was quoted over $2500 in Canada not including a crown or anything else so I decided to come to Tijuana and see what I could get done. I got THREE permanent crowns placed, a cleaning and a root canal for 1900! Ontop of the amazing prices that was by far the best dentist I’ve been too! They made sure I was as comfortable as could be, the procedures were painless and they gave me a beautiful smile I can be confident with!

I was referred by a friend to this dental office and I have say it’s was top notch atmosphere very clean and professional bilingual staff at front desk. I couldn’t afford to have the work done in San Diego and when the dentist at Liberty Dental took my x-rays and told me the same thing that my regular dentist did in San Diego except I needed another root canal plus a crown. I was concerned about the cost naturally, but the cost was less for two root canals and a crown than one root canal in SD. The work was completed in one visit except for the crown which I went back a second time to get. The work was awesome and I’m really happy with it all. Rick the manager also had my insurance claim form ready for me and that really streamlined my reimbursement to get my up front payment back for the work they did for me. I will be going back for my cleaning and any work I need because of the care I received!!! Almost forgot they also paid for my taxi from the boarder to their office and from their office back to the boarder☺️Lets not forget they have complimentary bottle water, soda, coffee?

Amazing experience. I had read so many great reviews so I thought I would go from San Diego for a consultation. They pay for the taxi to and from the border. Immanuel, Hector , and Dr. Galvan were all, so professional. I was shocked when they said that they could do the 3 implants on this same visit. I was only in the chair for 2 hrs and one hour to make sure there was no bleeding etc. After talking with my husband, we decided it was well worth doing. ( It would have cost more than 3x as much in the states. One consultation even suggested I had to have a general anesthesia.) That is totally not needed. I just had my sutures removed and Dr. Galvan even smoothed out a chip on my bridge at no extra charge. The only thing I would watch out for is the clindamycin can really tear up your intestines so next time I would just ask for amoxicillin. I will be sending in my insurance form in tomorrow. I am so glad I finally let go of fear. I should have done this years ago! Thanks everyone!

Hello, Thinking of going to Tijuana Mexico for dental work....good choice. You won't be disappointed. In fact you will be so happy and no one is ever happy going to the dentist. Why you ask? Let me tell you the staff at Liberty Dental Clinic are AMAZING! No kidding, truthfully, they are really great folks, very professional, kind, patient, understanding, caring, happy attitudes, just a really nice place to get your dental work done. I am from Detroit Michigan USA a long way away from TJ Mexico, but I used to live in LA 5 years ago..and drive down to Tijuana to save money on dental work. It's like way way cheaper then the cheapest dentist in LA area or the USA and the work is just as good or better in my humble opinion. Anyways, I was going to Las Vegas for a visit...because I have friends there and I found a good last minute cheap airfare.on Frontier Air. I mentioned to my friend that I was thinking about going to Mexico for dental work...he said let's go. now it's only a 5 hour drive. We left at 5am from Las Vegas and I was in the dentist chair at 11 am. No appointment we just walked in....no waiting...staff was no problem, we will do free exam right now. I did do a little research before we left for Mexico and read some good reviews about Liberty Dental and a couple of others just as back up. I thought I would go there first and see what they said. WOW! I am so happy I did. There are so many dentists in Tijuana to pick from....hundreds, all with good reviews and from previous experience they were always good no matter where I went for work . But let me tell you Liberty Dental Clinic was by far the best by leaps and bounds. Great prices...but comparable to other dentists in Tijuana. They adverise their prices on their web site...and they stick to them But the professionalism, service, the staff, the location, the equipment, all top shelf, state of the art, ....words can not describe. They are GREAT! in every way...I am sure the new location is a bonus. I had two root canals, two crowns, numerous x-rays, a tooth extracted and my partials realigned and medications included all for $1000. My dentist in Detroit Michigan wanted around $3500...plus plus. I would have probably had my teeth pulled instead....I am so happy I went to Mexico....please believe me it is worth it. My assigned dentist, was not the one who was in most of the other reviews...I had second thoughts but it turned out he was excellent...as were the girls who assisted him...quite pretty too...and very attentive to detail. My dentist was gentle and did two painless root canals....first time for me...every time I had a root canal done there was major pain involved. He was very good at root canals. He also gave me temp crowns that were perfect and the next day put on the porcelain crowns....with a little tweaking they were a perfect fit. I was all finished at around 3pm. The clinic is all new and ultra modern...with a lab on premises. I am completely 100 per-cent satisfied with Liberty Dental, I highly recommend them. I would give them six stars if possible. Side note, Tijuana Mexico is fun, safe, exciting, and a great place for a mini-vacation. Don't believe the USA news media, it's a really nice city, with nice people and most everyone speaks a little English. I speak no Spanish and it was not a problem at all. I saved a ton of money and had a great experience.I recommend you read and trust the other reviews about getting dental work done here. PS: I stayed one night at the Americana Hotel 3 blocks from Liberty Dental. Great hotel, $50 a night, more expensive then most places but a 4 star hotel. ***Thank You Liberty Dental you guys are all amazing!***

Anyone who is researching a reputable dentist in Tijuana like my husband and I did look no further, we can highly recommend Dr German Gastélum at Liberty Dental. Great price, good looking teeth. I went in because I wanted a bigger smile felt like my teeth were too small. The temps that I had on were so big and we’re told look fine so I dealt with it for a week. Once I got the real ones they were Not even the same looking so I was confused. I wanted bigger teeth but these just look like my normal size teeth.

Fantastic service. And i am completely satisfied with my wisdom tooth extraction.The staff is very professional and friendly, working as a real team and trying to do everything to accommodate patients.They provided me with all medications i needed after my surgery. My gum healed faster then i expected. The office is clean and welcoming. Water, soda, coffee, and cookies are provided for free.They will pay for your taxi both directions. So not only did I drive all the way from Los Angeles, when I arrived I took a taxi and they paid for the taxi to and from the Dentist. Not only were they friendly and very helpful, the prices are unbelievably awesome. What I paid Delta Dental for 1 month I was able to drive down their, pay for the service, eat and still fill up my tank. They explained the entire process, were friendly and the work they did was great. I would not only recommend it but I will be going back at least 2-3 times a year for a follow up. Very Clean, Professional Staff, Helpful and all equipment is just like here in the US. They were even able to clean my 4 year old sons teeth with no issues, they knew how to treat him and they had no issues with him at all. I love this place.

Clean, orderly and comfortable office. Parking on US side immediately adjacent to port of entry provides safe, simple quick access. Walk across border. Taxi is only 5 min to Liberty DDS. Taxi anywhere for $5. Liberty reimburses for both parking and taxi. Outstanding on every measure.

I came here for a root canal and crown. Overall this has been my best dental experience I ever had including in the United states. First of all the price of the service was extremely reasonable. They paid for my taxi to and from the US border. The facility is very clean and they offer free beverages and snacks while you wait. A large LCD with American channels in the lobby helps pass the wait time. Rick the office manager speaks great English and is very hospitable. Dr. Omar was extremely skilled and professional. I was in and out quickly and my new crown looks and feels fantastic. Thanks guys!

I had a root canal and new crown done at Liberty Dental by Dr. Omar Guevara. His work was excellent. The least painful dental work I have ever experienced. He was highly professional and made me feel very comfortable by his technique and work quality. I am from Los Angeles. Getting over the border was very easy in the medical lane crossing in a car. The dental work done here at Liberty Dental is top notch and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great dentist. Plus the price was better than the over inflated cost of dental work in the States. Do yourself a favor.... Call Liberty dental (excellent English spoken here) and get your teeth fixed with the utmost professionalism without breaking your wallet. 5 stars!

After much research and seeing only good reviews I decided on Liberty Dental to get a cleaning and a few fillings. While the office manager was very nice and it was clean, I can't say they did a good job. The hygienist didn't even ask me if I wanted X-rays and jumped right into the cleaning. Before the fillings I asked what kind they would be (mercury? Composite?) and he wouldn't even tell me or communicate. There were two trainees hovering over the whole time and I felt like a lab rat. For a week after my teeth were very sensitive and this continued for TWO MONTHS (still hurts when I have cold or hot foods/liquids). There is also A PIECE OF THE FILLING that's STUCK TO MY GUM CAUSING PLAQUE. I just went to another dentist that said that one needs to be replaced and possibly even with a crown. They said the other two that are sensitive weren't done well and they suggest replacing those first with medicine in the tooth for a month to stop the pain and THEN ANOTHER FILLING. I've only got one set of teeth and my biggest regret of the year is coming to Liberty Dental. Shame on you, Liberty Dental.

Amazing! Clean and professional establishment, friendly staff. Abel the administrator was helpful and had great communication in covering how the process would go. I needed my wisdom teeth pulled, and they didn't unnecessarily put me under like American doctors would. The extraction took 20 minutes and was painless. It only cost me 400 for all 4 teeth. The visit couldn't have gone smoother! Will highly recommend to family and friends.

If you want a dental office that looks like a lobby of a 5 star hotel (and pay the corresponding prices,) this is not for you but if you want a dental office that is modest in style (although it is clean with all modern equipment,) has complimentary refreshments (coffee, tea, cookies, even sodas!) t.v. AND English magazine (been to other fancy dentist office with granite countertops but NO magazines!) and pass the savings on the overhead to you, this will be the place to go. However, when I first came on a weekday, there was no wait, even though I arrived an hour before our appointment and my friend who accompanied me, decided to have some work done, and did not even HAVE an appointment got in right away (so maybe having all these amenities in the waiting room is a waste!), so it would be better to book during the week than Saturday (when few other offices are open) which has a lot more people. Also if you need a Valium, you do not have to go to a pharmacy, they will give you one. One thing I like, is unlike some of the dental clinics who only offer partitions between the patients, this offers separate rooms.. Why I chose him was that on another site where I found this office, a person wrote that his wife was told by the US dentist that his wife needed $2500 worth of work and when the dentist here examined her, not only did he tell her she did not need it but did not charge for the exam and Xrays-I thought this was the dentist for me. Unlike other low cost dentists who advertise low prices but then they advise doing unnecessary work so they can pad the bill, he does not do that. Not only does he reimburse for the taxi, but also for the parking on the US side (he has a free lot in Mexico), gives medical pass for border, he gives FREE exam and Xrays, has both a US regular AND a toll free phone number, usually these are only done by the more expensive offices who charge higher prices as they usually only deal with foreigners but I think his prices are low as he charges local prices because he has a lot of Mexican patients (but his assistant speaks English well). They also do not charge you 5% more for credit cards as another one that always appears on top of the google search when you look for Tijuana dentist (the one that takes Paypal.) Initially I was lazy and did not want to spend hours looking for another one, so was going to book that one, luckily they were booked on the day I wanted to go, so I went through a referral service and those extra few minutes for the search were well worth it. They probably make little profit on what they charge and what they give you, and probably have to pay commission to a booking site. so would advise you book directly through their own website. Just by coincidence, the friend who brought me decided to do some work, so if you have a friend who might need work bring him, they may give you a little discount on your OWN work. In the U.S. (it may be the rules) you have to spend a half hour on reams and reams of paperwork on writing in minute detail, your whole health history (which I do not think ANY of the dentists as busy as they are even read), here it takes 5 minutes to fill out the simple form. They will also make a GREAT deal of effort to be sure you can get the maximum amount of reimbursement of what you can get from your dental plan.

These guys are professional as can be. I had two route canals done within 3 hours and walked away with no pain and nothing but a pleasant experience (more pleasant than any dentist experience I have ever had). I was given two temporary crowns, with my permanent ones to be ready in just 4 days (a very quick turn around!!!). Eric & Abel run the front of house, and both are incredibly hospitable, knowledgeable, and intent on making your dental experience an enjoyable one. The dentist (Dr. Guevara) and his assistant (Nilia) were great at what they do, making sure that I was informed and comfortable throughout the 3 hours I was in the chair. Both were true professionals, and made my nervous anticipation subside the longer the procedure continued. I can't rave about this place enough, really. Both of my teeth were in terrible condition (I had stopped eating on the left side of my mouth entirely for 6 months due to the pain) and accordingly I was very nervous about my first route canal experience. But again, the ENTIRE staff at Liberty Dental were the definition of professional, and made the experience so good that I'm here now, writing this review. I will make the trip from San Francisco to Liberty any time I need dental work in the future. They're the best. If you have any hesitations, or are putting off getting work done... then don't. Just go to them. they'll take great care of you.
