i called to make an appointment for my tooth pain, and teeth cleaning, i dont know why they wasn’t be able to find my Delta dental insurance from 2 days, i went for my appointment to avoid the $75 fees and i thought they already verified my insurance too but No, waiting there more than 2 hours wasting my time and be late for my job, until i called my insurance and let them sent a fax so they can verified. Finally but no less they verifier my insurance. Then after another long wait, i have to move from room to room, so finally they make a decision in what chair i have to be, so i have to wait again, the dentist show up and confusing me about many thing regarding my teeth i think to raise money, until i mentioned i just have pain here and i need to do cleaning she was nice by give me a prescription for my tooth pain and till now I’m still waiting for my prescription from them. I called, leave a voice mail, and called again and leaved a-message but no answer! The only good one job they did is to send me message is to leave a feedback!

I saw the high reviews and thought I must choose this place for my dental care - I regret the decision and will never go back. I came for my filling appointment 10 minutes before my appointment time and stayed waiting for 40 minutes! I took time from work to come for my appointment. The deal breaker was them refusing to submit the claim to my insurance and then have the remaining bill sent to me. Their response “this is not how our office works” - which shocked me as this is a standard insurance process. I had to pay before leaving and now I am following up with my insurance.
It's very important to us to provide clear and transparent communication about all services and costs. While we are unable to discuss personal matters in an online forum, we appreciate all feedback and continually work to improve our services. Thank you

Please avoid at all costs. Was almost scammed badly. Horrible unethical practice and it is like you are speaking to a soulless salesperson instead of a dentist who cares to do honest work. I am begging you not to come here, they will do anything to exploit you as a patient and get as much money as possible.

My husband and I have been going to Contemporary Dentistry for over 5 years. We live an hour away from Dearborn, but we kept coming back because of the friendly service and staff. On Saturday 7/13, I had a cleaning appointment with Malak at 11:30 am. When I arrived, the first thing that Malak says to me “we need to take x-rays”. I responded by letting her know that I spoke with my insurance company and I was told that they only cover the cost of X-rays once every 24 months. If we get x-rays taken today, then I would have to pay out of pocket. She said, “I can’t perform the cleaning unless we can do x-rays or you would have to sign a waiver in order for me to get your teeth cleaned”. I was shocked by Malak’s response, this is the first time I’ve heard of this. She was unprofessional and rude. I asked to speak with a manager and she said the manager is not available. I refused to sign the waiver and I told her I will find another dentist’s office that values me as a patient. I was frustrated that I drove an hour to get my teeth cleaned and I’ve been a regular and this is the treatment I get. Since when are x-rays required every time you need to get your teeth cleaned?

I haven’t had my work done yet as I was comparing Contemporary Dentistry to their top competitor. I visited with both companies last year and this again today. I must tell you that you will never find more knowledgeable, hospitable than Sue and Sirine. Dr.Ryan Is my far one of the most knowledgeable, experienced and well prepared dentists that I have ever met. They welcomed me back to answer my questions and wasn’t too busy even though I wasn’t spending money with them today, but they did it because they are very professional and treated me like FAMILY not just another number. Dr. Ryan went over my X-rays step by step and showed me what I needed and why. He also showed me other clients before and after and it’s amazing. Thank God that I don’t have to worry about the price, I’m concerned with the quality of the work and the treatment of the staff. To be perfectly honest I have a follow up with their competitor tomorrow and I will go there because my word is my bond but I’m sold on CONTEMPORARY DENTISTRY. The other company wants to make up for not having their doctor see me last time, they just took the X-rays and gave me good information, treated me well but I just felt like another number and they didn’t have the doctor talk to me and I was told that he may have been in surgery. That should have been told to me last year not now that I’m ready to get the work done. I will have another post after my work is done.

I saw Dr. Rima Bazzi when I was in middle school for my braces. I now need Invisalign in my 20s, so I immediately went back to the Dearborn office. To start, the facilities are stunning. They have made a clear effort to stay up to date with both the design and the technology they offer. I was extremely impressed with the process to get the Invisalign trays and how much it has improved, let alone that the office had the capabilities. Dr. Bazzi has taken care of my two younger siblings’ braces treatment as well and we continue to highly recommend her to friends and family for all aspects of dental care but especially orthodontics. She is extremely personable and I am excited to reconnect with her after all of these years for Invisalign.

Hands down the BEST dentist office I’ve ever been to. My wisdom tooth was impacted into my jaw and I couldn’t open my mouth, I had seen 6 dentist and 2 oral surgeons in regards to this matter none of whom wanted to touch my mouth in fear of breaking my jaw. I went in for a consultation and spoke with staff and they assured me they’ll be able to pull my wisdom tooth without an issue and they did just that. Everything went smoothly GREAT dentist office. Worst experience ever! If I could give no stars I would. Condescending front desk and incompetent dentist who are just trying to make a profit at the expense of the patient. I have seldom felt as disrespected and disappointed as I did after my visit to this place. They talk in their language (clearly about patients) in front of patients and are very very rude! Save yourself time, money and trouble and take your business elsewhere. I regret ever patronizing this subpar and very unprofessional establishment. Never again!

Dr. Nadin was very persistent. I signed up for IV sedation, to get 4 wisdom teeth extracted but my veins were too small. I rescheduled my appointment to another day, drinking insane amounts of water to ensure I had big enough veins, and yet they were still too small. Once i found out that using the IV was not an option, I told them it was okay to numb my mouth and continue with the extraction. This experience wasn’t traumatic, like I first imagined. Thank you to the staff for your patience and giving me a welcoming experience.

It's not often that I leave a review, however after my visit today I feel compelled. I've been a patient at the Dearborn location for five years. Dr. Nadar Bazzi removed my wisdom teeth; I finally "fixed" my smile with Invisalign with the help of Dr. Rima Bazzi; and I come in regularly for cleanings. I came in for my regular cleaning on May 9th. My wonderful hygienist (whose name I regretfully forgot. Noor?) took some x-rays and discovered a cavity that needed to be immediately addressed. She and the office staff worked together and scheduled an appointment for May 13th. Dr. Hassan Bazzi and Zainab helped with my filling. Per usual, the experience was comfortable and I felt taken care of the entire time. Zainab is heaven sent. She is truly the kindest, most thoughtful and professional member of this clinic, and I immediately feel at ease when I find out she's going to be part of the process. Dr. Hassan Bazzi was thorough in his explanation of the procedure, and he made sure I was comfortable with everything before and after the procedure. Shout out to the reception/office staff. Your role in coordinating appointments, and addressing patient questions/concerns does not go unnoticed, and it is arguably the most difficult job. I must say, I also appreciate the text message reminders for any appointments/updates. I highly recommend their services. Thank you everyone at Contemporary Dentistry for brightening my smile! ???

‼️ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY ME ‼️ Quick story- Got dentures in 2016, 4 of my real teeth on the bottom, top dentures. my teeth were horrible and I eventually was left with nothing on the bottom and top dentures. my face was sinking in, I looked old, couldn't eat any of my favorite foods, and I have no confidence to smile. fast forward to winter 2020, my family offered to get me a "smile make over" and It took me months to find the perfect fit. I went to University Dental in Rochester and once we did the XRay they saw the significant bone loss I had and he referred me to Contemporary Dental. I made the consult appointment with Serene and omg I was so blown away at how comfortable they made me feel, all the information I was given, the way they care so much about giving you back your confidence was amazing and made me feel so good about this decision! The day of my implant surgery was a LONG day, I was there literally all day. I left that day with tempory teeth that they placed over the implants so they would heal better and so I didn't have to be without teeth for 3-4 months. I got all on 6s on the top and bc of the bone loss I had to get longer implants that went to my cheek bones, and then I got all on 4s on the bottom. The entire staff were so accommodating, comforting and caring. Once my temporary teeth were put on everyone circled around me and we're hella hyping me up about how great it looked. I was so happy! they took such great care of me and I cannot wait to get my final teeth in december. I recommend this place to anyone thinking about implants, dentures, invisalign and just basic dental needs. The staff and dentist are amazing and I am so happy I chose them to do my smile make over. One last thing that blew me away about this place was the big "classroom" in the middle of the office where the doctors continue to educate their staff on new treatments, techniques, procedures & so much more I can only imagine. I feel like that's just awesome!!!! ? GO TO CONTEMPORARY DENTAL ?

WoW! I am Absolutely Impressed with this office! If you’re looking for a dentist or an implantologist look no further the Staff and Dr. Nader Bazzi are Awesome! They have an in-house lab to create the implants and dentures! I was looking to get the removable denture on the bottom but after seeing what they can do at the free consultation I am leaning more toward having the permanent lower teeth put in place! This is definitely Top of the Line false teeth that will stand the test of time! The worst service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve had a crown on December 2020 and It’s never healed. Take a look at the picture. It has always inflammate like that and bleeding. Now it seem speading to more one blister. About the service desk, I’ve requested my x-ray and all the details work what I’ve done at Contemporary Dentist. They just gave one single picture when I visited the first time. I’ve sent email to remind 3 times but not getting reply. Not mention about they always trying to scare you about your teeth conditions to make you do this do that. But this only the common practice in here.

Alright, let me tell you why you should go to this place for all your dental/orthodontic needs. I've been going to this dentistry for about 2 years now and I have never experienced a more welcoming/friendly environment at the dentist. Ranging from the Doctors to the dental hygienist to the clerks behind the desk at the main lobby, everyone is friendly and easy to talk/converse with. When I was younger I always hated going to the dentist for whatever reason it was because they were always rough while cleaning my mouth and I'd always bleed right after. On the other hand, Contemporary dentistry would always be gentle as to not cut any gum tissue but at the same time get the job done. Also not to mention their cleanliness is top of the notch. I would give this place a 10/5 if I could but a 5/5 will do.

I really had to take a moment to let not only the staff know, but everyone looking for a dental practitioner with a staff that no other office anywhere can compare to. I called frantically in pain on a Monday afternoon to get an appointment the very next morning. The staff greeted me with real warm and friendly welcomes and when they sat me down explained everything they were going to do to help me get rid of the pain (and shame) I was feeling. I can honestly say that I have been looking for a Dentist that I could trust. I think I have found that Dentist so far. Taking care of you teeth is a very important part of your life and health, however, although I knew this but when you can't find a good Dentist or don't have the financial resources , it could be a problem. So see your Dentist regularly. I would recommend Dr. Bazzi because he really explained all I need done and he is very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Dr. Bazzi is an excellent dentist and oral surgeon. My experience with my dental implants was miraculous. I had 17 teeth removed, I was sedated and didn't feel any pain during my surgery and it seemed that it went by quickly. Dr. Bazzi is an experienced dentist, but I didn't know what an expert he is. I was amazed how smooth the operation was. I highly recommend Dr. Bazzi to everyone, weather you need implants or any other dental procedure done. Choose Dr. Bazzi, you'll be happy you did. Il would not recommend this place, my nightmare lasted 5 months of them, setting & resetting appts just minutes before my confirmed appointment time, and the numerous cancellations for my final appointment, months of fittings and being overcharged, only be told because of the multiple inter-office miscommunication; the billing department told me that she would not have me pay the final cost ( to which she lied, stating she did not remember) l after already paid all my required co-pays before leaving each appt, and my provider paid the charged fees. she couldn’t even look me in the face. ????????

I have been a patient there for 10 years, and I have never been late to my appointment. Today, I had an appointment at 9:00 am; and at 9:05, I received a call from them saying that I was late. I told them the reason was due to construction on the freeway; and I asked them to allow me just 10 minutes extra and I would be there. However, they did not help me. They told me if I didn’t arrive by 9:15 they would not agree to see me. It was unprofessional to treat me this way. I had been a patient with them for 10 years and they let me wait many times for 20 mins before letting me in. They made a big deal over my first time being tardy. Also, every time when I go for my cleaning appointment, they try to make money off me by doing unnecessary braces and they keep mentioning to do it at every appointment. They just care about money and they try to charge as much as they can from insurance. My cousin and several of my friends go there routinely, but after this bad experience, I will ask them to stop going there. I do not want them to have the same bad experience I had.

I have a fear of dentists that goes back to when I was a child. Moved back to Detroit, broke a tooth and had to find a new dentist which was stressful. I remembered that several years ago, we brought my father (he was 84) here. They were wonderful to him so I decided to give them a try. I was up front and told them I was the worst patient! From that first phone call to my last visit, they were exceptional. My Dentist, Dr. Rima was awesome. Her and Yomna made sure I was comfortable before proceeding. They were professional, yet friendly. The ladies at the front desk were just as awesome! Sirine the office manager was so kind! This Dentist IS NOT in my insurance network, but I am willing to pay extra because they are just that exceptional. I don't ordinarily write reviews but I had to write this one. They even offer water, coffee and fruit in the waiting room. Customer service at it's finest. Thank you Contemporary Dentistry!?

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here. I have been a patient for a few years and switched because my previous dentist closed. I always help with my insurance by getting pre-approvals, claim numbers, and pre auths but billing still can’t seem to get it right and actually yelled at me and told me they wrote off care because they couldn’t figure out how to bill it (as if I had any idea that happened). I even gave them the paperwork to fill out and just submit for claims since they said they couldn’t find it but the lack of care and bedside manner is where I draw the line. I went in and told the dentist I was having an issue with one thing and they proceeded to work on several other teeth that I wasn’t having an issue with, ignoring my initial request. The next day I had the worst tooth ache of my entire life. It kept me up all night, I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t do anything. I called the office as soon as they opened and the brought me in, re-numbed me and told me someone would call me from their other office (they never did). I waited a week for my already scheduled follow up apt while still in pain, for the dentist to tell me they needed to do different procedures than what they had done and tried to justify it when I said I didn’t know why they 1) didn’t do that to begin with and 2) why they had me in so much pain when I had 0 pain walking in the week before. It has been more than 2 weeks and no follow up from the office, I’ve called this week and it says my call cannot be completed as dialed but I have no issue with calling anyone else. Other issues with this office include having previous work done by them that fell out soon after and they re-charged my insurance instead of honoring their work. I have never had any dental issues until I started going here and worst of all they talk to their patients like they are above them. I have United Concordia which isn’t hard to use and United Concordia gave me copies of several notices they sent to the office that went unanswered. Avoid this dentist at all costs!

My experience with Contemporary Dentistry is always great. The staff is courteous and I never wait long for my appointment. My hygienist is personable, caring, and thorough. Check them!! I have been going to Contemporary Dentistry for over seven years and my teeth would bleed, my mouth hurt, I had one tooth that needed to be moved forward and I had one a missing tooth. Over the years all these problems have been taken care of. I was just told I could come once every six months for cleanings instead of once every four months that I was accustomed to. What a relief, no more bleeding gums. I decided to get invisalign and that fixed the tooth that needed to be moved forward. Finally, the missing tooth was filled in with an implant. What a journey, but well worth the time, money, and great and healthy smile. Everything was done right on site, they coaxed me through every procedure, and I worked with a team that was knowledgeable, considerate, and patient. Thanks to everyone at Contemporary Dentistry. I highly recommend you check them out!! The whole staff from Sonya who makes the appointments to the dentist that give the care...you can rest assure they pay close attention to DETAILS!!!

So many more words that I can use to describe the staff at this clinic, the doctor and dental assistant went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable at all times. I had a lot of work done, wisdom tooth extraction, abcessed tooth extraction and a deep filling.... and was squeezed in as an emergency patient so glad I came to them. I would recommend anyone to come and see them especially if you have dental phobia which I certainly do. Not sure where to start from. They are best of the best. The best dental office I ever been into. Had to do root canal, filling, and crowns. The crowns came up so good where you CAN’T tell which the crown from the real teeth is. They use the latest and greatest technologies, office is very clean and waiting room is so gorgeous. The staff are extremely nice and friendly. The treatment coordinator (Sirine) is super super nice. She explained every bit of the treatment and cost. No doubt, 5 stars office. Contemporary dentistry was one of the best dental offices I have stepped into. They are the real definition of professionalism and amazing staff. I had done braces before at a different dental office and after a year of taking them off my teeth looked even worse and I had no hope in ever having the smile I wanted until I stepped into this office. Dr. Rima, really knew what she was doing. She gave me hope all over again, and a year after getting the right care I needed, I finally have the smile I’ve always wanted. this place will explain to you every treatment you will be getting in every detail you will need. Also, I go to school out of state that’s why i was scared to start on my teeth but this place made sure they worked around my schedule and always gave me an appointment when I was in town even if It was last minute. I can’t say enough about how well the customer service is at this office. The staff team is phenomenal from the front desk to the dental assistants and hygienists and dentists - everyone is so down to Earth. They always treat my family like their family and my girls actually enjoy going for their cleanings. Facility is really well done and super clean. Going there, I had my wisdom teeth surgery scheduled else where but I just wanted a second opinion. After leaving Contemporary Dentistry, I called the other oral surgeon and canceled my appointment with him. Dr. Bazzi is an amazing doctor that's really calm and professional. He made me feel at ease when I was really worried. His staff were all professional and welcoming. Their environment was the best: professional yet still made you feel that you were an important individual to them not just another dollar sign walking into their office. I've been coming to Contemporary Dentistry for over 15 years now, and they never fail to take care of me, but my most recent experience is the most telling of their professionalism. I came in to get my wisdom teeth removed after putting if off for nearly two years. I was, naturally, scared due to all the wisdom tooth removal horror stories I'd heard. However, Dr. Bazzi and his team were very comforting, professional and friendly every step of the way. I was in and out of the office in less than 2 hours, felt nothing during the procedure, and within 36 hours, I was practically back to 100%. I am currently only four days out of my removal (3 teeth) and I feel great! Little to no swelling post-op, barely any pain afterwards (didn't even need the heavy painkillers prescribed), and I'm already nearly healed. They're wizards in there! I cannot recommend this office highly enough. The office itself is very clean, inviting and modern, the staff are professional and courteous,and they consistently treat their patients like family. And they're reasonably priced, too :) Great office both for the big procedures and the regular cleanings.

I had a tooth extracted by dentist in Dearborn back in 2001. I was not really happy with their service and after asking around I switched to Contemporary Dental in 2008. I and my wife have been contemporary patients since then for routine checkup, cleaning and more specialized dental care. I always felt uncomfortable with the opening left by the extraction. Dr. Nader suggested the implant option but I was not sure about having a screw drilled in my Jaw in the beginning. Finally I decided to do it after I talked to him in more details. It was a lot easier than what I thought. It took 3 sessions and about 1 to 1.5 hours every session. It has been about 3 years now and zero problems. I really glad I had it done and in my opinion by the best dentist around here…..

Horrible horrible place ! Gave the the run around about sending the right info to my insurance to get the procedure approved ! They scheduled me one time and then “didn’t have it on the schedule” also after finally getting 2 tooth pulled I was called in 0 pain meds ! The doc is great but someone in this office is defiantly dropping the ball
