Dr. Chen is a great surgeon! I got my breast and nose done at the same time which I am soooo happy with my results. There were some minor details with my nose I wanted fixed and he ended up adding some fillers to my nose and it is exactly what I wanted. Both my nose and breast look natural and aren’t overly done. I love the staff here. They are so sweet and welcoming. I love that not only does the office and Dr. Chen care about you but they are really well educated and professional. They always call to make sure the patients are doing ok and have frequent check up appts to ensure that the healing process is going well. I would give it 5 stars because the person who gave me the Morpheus8 treatment service was very kind and attentive...but I give it 4 because I had a problem with one of the girls who are at the front desk, When I went to get the quote for the treatment, there were 3 of them, they gave me a price that would be 3000 for the 3 sessions, in the first treatment it would be 1200, the second 1200 and the last 600, In the first treatment everything was very good, I paid what was agreed, but when I went to the second, what was my surprise that when I went out to pay they changed the price, the girl told me that because they gave me more, I had to talk to the girl who treated me the treatment so that she could see that I was doing the same thing as last time and she very kindly told her that yes, she had done the same thing as the previous time but the girl continued to argue and told me that the quote did not appear on the computer. It's too bad that they don't have a record, but in fact I told her that when they made my first appointment, the girl gave me a piece of paper with the date of the appointment and the budget and finally she changed the price but before leaving she told me that for the next one date will bring the piece of paper, I felt so embarrassed that I thought about coming for the last appointment.. In conclusion, when you go to make a quote, don't forget to ask for a receipt for what you are being charged to avoid this type of embarrassment. I feel like a liar. I only have the reminder paper that I asked for so that I wouldn't forget my appointment, which isn't much, but that's why I suggest you ask for proof of your quote.

I would give Dr. Chen 100 stars if possible. He is an amazing plastic surgeon and helped me fix my botched breast augmentation. I had my first augmentation done when I was quite young, I went to a very well-known and highly rated surgical center in San Diego. I was left with uneven breasts and very prominent scars and uneven nipples. Dr. Chen made me feel heard and understood during the consultation. I told him what I was looking to fix, and he did not hesitate to reassure me that I was in good hands. He did not let me down. Dr. Chen corrected the mistakes with my prior implants and helped bring my self-confidence back. I had the best recovery post-op. The nurses were even surprised when I came for my post-op the following day. Because I was not in any pain, and I felt great. Dr. Chen had me come in for several follow-up appointments throughout the year of recovery to ensure everything was healing properly. I feel I had to write this review. Honestly, Dr. Chen saved my life. I had a botched breast reduction in 2019. I had horrible scarring and and asymmetry. I pretty much had no breast tissue left anymore. I consulted with multiple doctors about scar revision and they quoted me insane prices and told me that it was a complicated procedure. When I consulted with Dr. Chen he treated me like a person and told me he could get rid of the scars and put in implants. The price was extremely reasonable. I decided to go ahead and have the surgery. I'm 3 months post-op and I am sooooo happy. The scars look incredible (no keloids, minimal redness) and I have symmetrical and good sized breasts. I'm starting to feel confident in my body again! Additionally, Dr. Chen removed a lipoma for me that no other surgeon would touch and wouldn't even explain to me why. I had some complications after and anytime I called--Dr. Chen called me back in about 5 minutes. I'm a few months out from that procedure as well and it's healing great. Dr. Chen is phenomenal. He is an incredible surgeon, he's super nice and friendly--you would never know by talking to him how accomplished he is (which is a good thing). He also doesn't make a big deal out of procedures saying that they're "so difficult" or "I can't promise you anything" which is different than others surgeons I've gone to or consulted with. Dr Chen saved my life. For the longest time i dealt with insecurities of gynecomastia since i was 15 from now that I am 30 years old. So about 15 years! INSANE! Amazing doctor! I chose Dr Chen to perform an abdominalplasty (tummy tuck) after losing 120 pounds and suffering with loose skin. I had surgery on March 31, 2021 and even though I’m still in recovery, the whole experience so far has been positive.. he is kind patient highly educated and expert surgeon..all of his staff have been attentive and kind!

As someone who is in the "customer experience" business, I put a lot of thought into customer service from medical professionals. My experience with Dr. Chen and team was seamless from the first consult through post op and overall, has exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough about the patient care. I had an excessive amount of questions prior to the procedure and Dr. Chen was able to address all of them thoroughly. Obviously, any major procedure can be nerve racking and Dr. Chen puts your mind at ease. His staff, including Elizabeth, Christine, Jaclyn and Candice all went out of their way to be helpful, fielding many questions for me as well when Dr. Chen was busy with patients. I could sense a willingness to be helpful from all of them and that was so reassuring. My nurse during the day of the procedure was also extremely helpful as well and made sure I understood everything before we got started. The most noteworthy was Dr. Chen's availability and willingness to answer the questions that I had following the procedure. He is highly attentive and is available to address any questions or concerns which gives so much peace of mind. I truly appreciate this level of attention and overall dedication to patient outcomes. I’ve had three procedures in Dr. Chen’s office. Peel, great. Rejuvaderm, great. And a facelift, phenomenal. I’m two months out now and it’s barely noticeable. Except I look 20 years younger. Really. The staff is informative and lovely. Dr.Chen is a dream. That first day was nice to get over, but not murder. Washed my hair and went to the day after appointment. Didn’t do much around the house, but didn’t feel the need to stay laying down. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

I was seeking a surgeon to have my 23yr old implants removed, with a lift. I had several consultations prior to finding Dr. Chen, and did tons of research to find just the right Dr. for me. Other Surgeons wanted to do 2 separate surgeries for my case, that scared me terribly... I found him during my research and Dr. Chen was able to do it all at once.. Dr. Charlie Chen is a miracle worker!!! From start to finish my entire experience was professional, friendly, considerate, and zero stress. My situation as a very difficult one. I had my nose broken at a very young age and then in my teens I had deviated septum surgery which was a nightmare back in the late 70’s. On one occasion I was considering rhinoplasty reconstruction surgery but back in the early 2000’s I would of had to give up ear cartilage to have work done. No way!!!! Not for me. Now that fillers are all the rage I considered maybe filling the space in my nose that was crooked. I’ve never had fillers before. Of all the places to find a non surgical nose job, I found Dr. Charlie Chen on Groupon. I didn’t know exactly what to expect but the price was right and the reviews looked good. Besides, they offered a refund if I wasn’t a good candidate. So I got my courage up and made the call. The first person I spoke to was the receptionist. Omg!!! She was amazing with being so kind to me and personable. It was like talking to a long time friend. She worked with my schedule and assured me if I needed to reschedule do to work that it would be no problem. Perfect!!! Appointment was the following week. Not 3 months out as you might expect. So I get there and everything was super chill and everyone was smiling. So I’m nervous but I know it’s a coin toss if the Doctor will actually be able to do anything to my nose because of how bad it is. So I complete my super easy, no hassle paperwork and zip zip, I’m in the patient room. The female employee that met me immediately made me feel super comfortable and as very personable. She applied numbing cream to my nose but I wanted to be sure the doctor was good to go with the procedure. No worries. Before I knew it, there he was, Dr. Chen, all smiles with a professional demeanor and a very friendly personality. We discussed everything and he choose to move forward with the procedure. Literally, it took minutes and was not very painful at all. Just a few injections and Bam!!! Done!!!! Couldn’t believe the results. Fantastic work and a life changer for me. My daughters and I recently had cosmetic procedures done by Dr. Chen and we are loving our fresh look! After many many hours of online research and going down the rabbit hole of online reviews, we scheduled a hand full of consultations with cosmetic surgeons throughout San Diego. The three of us met with four surgeons throughout San Diego. Without a doubt we all agreed that Dr. Chen was the perfect match for us. Restylane & Restylane Lyft for Cheeks, Under the eyes, temples and the nose lines and a little under the corner of my lips. I recently visited his office and he is AMAZING. I am not the traditional pretty girl type although I look clean and presentable. I went in not expecting to come out like one of these celebs on reality tv but just to look fresher and less run down after working 60-70 hour weeks for years. I was very nervous and he was very patient with me and he didn't try to oversell me. Actually I don't think he even suggested anything until I asked him questions and told him what I was looking for long term. He constantly reassured me and by the end of the visit I was completely sold. My face was swollen the day of and just a little the day after and only slightly sore in the area under the corner of my lips which is natural and probably made worse by the fact I had dental work done earlier that day. It's day 3 and you can't even tell where the needles were injected. THERE WAS NO BRUISING! I went in thinking I would come out looking like a trauma victim. I actually feel amazingly confident in my looks which is a first for me. I have included a pic and although you might notice brown spots or peeling that is due to a chemical peel I had done and not anything he injected. There is no makeup on my face. I plan on going back and getting my jaw sculpted with filler to have a finished look. I'd like to reduce the tip of my Rudolph nose but I think I have to have surgery for that. I had planned on getting work done somewhere else in two years but I'm so surprised that something so simple could make such a difference that I'm considering more permanent solutions sooner. I am the absolute biggest critic. I don't think I've ever, with the exception of once or twice in my entire life, given anyone 100% rating. However, he deserves every single ounce of credit because never ever did I think to expect to look this refreshed.
