After MANY MONTHS of trying to get a U.S. dentist to help my 88-yr old mom, a friend referred me to Alberta Dental. From my first phone call, Fausto (Manager) assured me they would help my mom, and they went above and beyond! They were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and Dr Russel and staff were kind and informative. The facilities are clean and modern. What a wonderful experience, my mom is recovering and finally pain-free, all in one visit! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALBERTA DENTAL!

This was an easy experience. I parked at the Tribal lot on the USA side of the border, walked maybe 100 yards to the border, and then around one block to the office. Leaving the office I turned left and then right and walked about a block to the border cross from Mexico to the USA. My dental technician was friendly and professional. I paid in cash to avoid the credit card service fee. I'm pleased with the work and will go back in the future.

Dr Leonardo Vazquez , Alberta Dental destroyed my entire mouth and wants me to come back to him so he can fix it , they refuse to refund my money. This is quite possibly the best dental Office and staff I’ve EVER interacted with. It’s really more like being with friends (who care about my teeth). As a result, I do absolutely everything Dr Noyra or Grace says. Lol.

Dentist Yarley has taken care of my teeth for a few years now. The facility is clean and the personnel are courteous and professional. I like that they have upfront pricing and consider your after care as well. I would recommend if you are considering a trip across the border and are hesitant about quality of service. They are easy to find one of the first buildings after you cross. Another convenience is that they are across the street from the pharmacy have optical pros inside and again juts steps from the border if you want to get in and out.

My first visit to Alberta Dental was during the pandemic after copious research . Nervous can’t begin to explain my feelings at first . I had extensive work done there which was streamlined into a five day period ( that which is truly magical after having months of lag time in the states at dentists ) I felt at ease immediately and back then it was Griselda and now Grace is always available to work with you via text. Work is sub standard, and comes apart within 5 days, used substandard materials and then say come back and will repair it, AVOID AT ALL COST

I have been a patient of Dr. Russell for almost 10 years and will NEVER come again. My husband (Bill) is his patient too. I made an appointment for him early February 2024. When making that appointment Alberta asked me does he want 8AM or 10AM. I said 10AM. We arrived for appointment at 9:10AM and receptionist told me Bill could not get in earlier. At 10:30 AM I asked again and was told Dr. Russell never came in the office that morning. The guy sitting next to us and told us he was the 8AM appointment and very angry too. If Dr. Russell was not going into work why no phone advising us to save our time, 50 miles drive and long line in departing Mexico. Glad we both have appointments at a different dental clinic in a couple weeks in Los Algodones.

Within 5 days the crown separated from the post and they assumed no responsibility, would NEVER use them again. Had to spend major $$ to fix their mistake.

Wife and I went in for a teeth cleaning and they seem to have done a good job. They said they would give me free x-rays but they never did now I’m guessing because I’m 80 years old that they try to convince me that they gave me the x-rays Which I am smart enough to know better. They wanted $2800 to work on the two teeth that they did find they were bad which was also overpriced and not necessary. I went to another dental shop costing me an overnight stay but I got the two teeth just pulled because that weren’t necessary. One was a wisdom tooth , that should’ve been removed 50 years ago. Hope somebody read this because it’s important that you use caution, if you go to this dental.

Standard low end dentist office. I do not recommend for any services; they will use the excuse of their standard procedure to get X-rays first to identify all dental cavities/ issues to get the most work out of you. Staff are students out of practices with very low matters. Get use to hearing them bad mouth other patients. Leonardo Vazquez Martin was who did the check in and spoke very poorly and acted stand off ish to any concerns the patient had. Worst experience in a Mexican environment.

We are very disappointed to report two of the crowns fell off. We are unable to get back to Los Algodones for fixing. I cannot give a good review because of the shoddy work.

I went to Alberta Dental in Los Algodones Mexico to find some new dentures. I was assisted outside by a gentleman named Tony who was so nice and accommodating. He took me into Alberta Dental where I was met by more nice folk. They, too, were very helpful and laid out the cost right then and there. I was more than happy with the price and asked when can I proceed. The office manager said right now if you like! I said deal. I did not wait more than 5 minutes and then Dr. Rigoburto greeted me and took me back to begin the process. During the whole time, I felt confident that this doctor knew what he was doing. I have to say I have had many, many dentists in my lifetime and Doc Rigoburto is right at the top. This is my 3rd set of dentures and this is the first time that I had such meticulous care with gaining the impressions for the new set. He took his time, was gentle and explained everything he was doing, ahead of doing it. He asked me what I wanted, then informed me what he thought. I decided to go with his opinions (after all, he is the expert) and I am so glad I listened. I don't think I would have been as pleased with my choice. The denture was to be ready the next morning, but I had another appointment. Doctor said no problem and we agreed for the following day. I have to say when doc showed me the mirror I was taken back, because I have never had a set of dentures look so good. I mean the teeth were the proper color, size etc. And the fit is right on. He did now have to do anything to make them fit better or adjust for high spots etc. A perfect fit!!!!! I have worn them for a day and am eating and speaking well and my gums have no irritation yet; and I am not expecting any. My last pair of dentures were from a major big-box dental lab and they could not hold a candle to this facility. My old pair from Aspen was junk compared to these. Alberta's facility was spotless clean and sanitary looking, every person was dressed professionally and immaculately. Being from the medical profession, I appreciate a clean workplace. You could almost eat off of the floor it was so squeaky clean. Dr. Rigoburto and his nurse were the best combo I have been to in a long, long time. There is no question that if I ever need anything else, or family and friends, this will be the place. Thank you Alberta Dental and Dr. Rigoburto

I love going to Alberta Dental, staff were very professional and caring. I want to give a shout out to Grace Inzunza, Patient coordinator and customer service. She's amazing! Placing my update at the beginning: Went back to see them this Friday. They immediately decided to replace all 8 crowns with upgrades. Dr. David did the work. He removed the metal/porcelain crowns and took measurements for the new crowns. Came in on Saturday, the new crowns were ready and fit perfect with no adjustment. He cemented the crowns and I could eat later that day. New teeth look and feel great. Thanks much to Dr. David and his assistant. Thank you Alberta dental for making this right! Rating at 4 stars because I never should have been sent home with those faulty crowns in the first place, and we never did discuss the money issue, but I would go back to Alberta dental; they stood behind there work. Original review: Went to Alberta based on recommendations from 2 older friends that had work done there. Needed 8 broken molars fixed and an old front crown replaced. They did their exam and came back with an estimate. I said it was too high and they gave it to their "manager" who gave it back with a discounted total that I agreed to. They claimed I needed 8 root canals and 9 crowns (counting the front replacement.) They sent me to an ortho specialist for the root canals and they were very good and thorough. Then back to Alberta for gum trimming, post insertion, and molds/impressions. Problem #1: Each day that I had work done (there were 6 total) I was billed before leaving. After day 5 they wanted me to make a payment that would have made what I had paid more than the total they had given me on the estimate. I explained this and Louis (reception/interpreter) said there was nothing they could do because the manager was not there, so I was forced to pay the amount they demanded. (On a side note, I heard other customers complaining about what they were being charged versus what they were told the costs would be.) Problem #2: When I came back for the final crowns (day 6) they demanded more money, this time up front, or they would not do any work. The manager was again conveniently unavailable. Faced with them holding my teeth hostage I again paid and was now $2000.00 over the estimate I had agreed to. Problem #3: When I got home my teeth were pretty sore so I looked closely in the mirror and was appalled! The 4 back teeth on the bottom look like hippo teeth; they are completely flat (not shaped like a human tooth) and there is metal showing through from where they ground down the crown to make it fit. The workmanship is a JOKE! Recommendations: 1 - Go somewhere else. There are plenty of good dentists to choose from. 2 - Pay in advance and get a receipt that says "Paid in Full". 3 - DO NOT let Dr Allen anywhere near your teeth! His work is painful and horrible! (The 2 friends I mentioned that recommended Alberta did not see Dr Allen.) Oh, Problem #4: Getting them to answer the phone now so I can see about getting these $#!+ crowns fixed; 1 is "moving" and I cannot eat on the left side.

I contacted Alberta Dental seeking affordable implant options and it seemed reasonable. However, I was disappointed with the execution of the procedure and the lack of transparency. I planned to stay a couple days but I didn't realize this would involve multiple visits over the course of days. The scheduler told me they did everything inhouse which supposedly expediated the process. However, the x-rays and implants were outsourced nearby. In the end, I had to extend my stay due to my implant breaking within 24 hours. Originally, they recommended bone graft surgery but I am glad I didn't proceed with this option considering the poor workmanship/quality of the implant fitting. The same dentist would've performed the surgery. I will just pay US prices to receive quality dental work...

Everyone was helpful, gracious, and accommodating!

After weeks of research and consultations with many dental facilities, both large and small, in Los Algodones, we sent panoramic x-rays and pictures for a major dental restoration for my son to each.  Several dentists in the United States were consulted and they arrived at a general consensus of the work that he needed. It was going to be quite extensive and far too expensive in the U.S. We had a pretty good idea of the extent of work to be done, and had narrowed our focus to about five facilities we needed to have face-to-face consultations with in order to feel confident in our choice. So, in other words, we didn’t go unprepared.  Having said that, upon arriving, while research is good, no amount will prepare you for being swarmed by hundreds of eager street advertisers trying to persuade you or your loved one to one office or another. Being met with over 400 options was far beyond what I could ever have prepared for and totally overwhelmed us on the first day.  We visited four of the offices that we had researched and spoken to but one stood out head and shoulders above all of the others.  Why? While three of the four facilities were willing to deliver the final finished product in the first 5 day visit, Alberta Dental refused to place bridged teeth over the top of fresh extractions. So we consulted Dr. Google and found, as you will as well, that placing bridges over fresh extractions will ultimately end in a terrible result. There is no way to properly place a bridge over a fresh extraction knowing full well that the gums in the following weeks will recede and shrink from the initial swelling leaving a huge gap between the bridge and the gum.  I am so thankful to D.D.S. Ahidaly Cortes Willes for refusing to do unethical work and suggesting that if we wanted inferior work then we should choose one of the other places. Absolutely she refused to do substandard work, even if it meant losing our business and the revenue of placing 24 crowns and bridges in addition to all the other work he needed.  It was her way or no way, and that is what won our business.  She and the entire team at Alberta Dental were absolutely more concerned with doing the job correctly and took an abundance of time to explain the different scenarios and decisions that she would make in our best interest. Trusting someone to make those kinds of decisions that have both financial and health ramifications is difficult, but we felt at peace because she refused to go for the money grab of doing all the work on the first visit. Well, we’re back home in South Carolina after having a total of 9 extractions, 4 wisdom teeth, and 12 root canals along with gum surgery needed to clear infection that no other dentist even mentioned in their proposal. Another example of Alberta Dental going the extra mile, not the extra buck, to do the work correctly and most effectively for a lasting result and my son’s overall health. They truly cared about the person and not so much about the money. He will return in 6 weeks for the crowns and bridge placement. Although naively thinking we were going to leave with the Colgate smile others led us to believe could be achieved in 5 days did not happen; it will happen after 6 weeks of healing and the work can be done professionally by a most delightful and professional team that adheres to standards that would be respected by anyone who calls themselves a true dentist. Please do your homework, but be prepared to still be overwhelmed the moment you step foot in Los Algodones. This is truly a life changing, soul/spirit decision that requires a lot of courage. Choose whomever you may, I can only attest to our experience and satisfaction with Alberta Dental.

I’m a hard working self employed single mama, my dentistry needs were way out my budget, thankfully I saw a lady post about getting dental work done in Mexico, & lots of people commented that’s the only place to do it. I had no idea, but I researched & researched & found the best patient representative Grace from Alberta Dental. She put me at ease, & immediately communicated with responses to my many questions. When I arrived in Mexico she greeted me & took me to their office. She was such a sweetheart and I was immediately impressed by their cleanliness & professionalism, from everyone, from Grace, to the shuttle driver to my dentist & his assistant. I was actually scared out of my mind coming here. They put me immediately at ease very professional everyone spoke perfect English. Once in the Room ALL credentials are displayed on the wall I think she's called a professor/ dentist. Dr Ponce came and explained everything to me and immediately put me to ease. When finished I came out And went across the street to pick up my medication seriously for such a big operation in my teeth I felt fine the rest of the day and the next day it was a great experience becoming back soon again!

But the pricing was so good and the employees are so so nice polite everything’s clean. Dr. explain things very clearly, stayed for three days got the whole top done. I recently had the opportunity to visit Alberta Dental. I arrived at their office around 8:00 am without an appointment. Within 30 minutes of checking in, I was assigned to DDS Melany Valdez and was sitting in her chair. She and her assistant explained the process and where with me through the entire process. After conducting the x-rays and initial examination, she provided a treatment recommendation plan with associated costs. DDS Melany Valdez performed excellent and extremely detail oriented work and I am extremely happy with all the work performed. Their office administrator, Grace, even completed my dental insurance form for me to file a claim for reimbursement for some of the procedures performed. There was a little language barrier but since I am the one visiting their country, I think it is my responsibility to learn Spanish. Challenge accepted for next year's visit. Overall, I highly recommend DDS Melany Valdez and Alberta Dental Group. Their office was clean, COVID conscious, and available to answer any questions and resolve any concerns. Very good experience with Dr Leonardo Vazquez and dr. David del Cid. We felt very comfortable in town and at the clinic. Sure can't beat the prices. And I appreciated Dr del Cid's honest evaluation of my teeth. Saved me a ton. Also appreciated Dr Vazquez's commitment to my husband's work: 18 crowns over 3 days! Amazing work doctors. Also want to mention the office staff. They were all so friendly, especially Grisel. Thank you to all.

I am a person with severe dental phobia who had not been to the dentist in over 20 years. Not only did they acknowledge my phobia but were extremely kind. I would highly highly recomend Alberta dental. Dont go anywhere else. They we absolutely amazing. Thank you Alberta dental for giving me a smile!!

I have been putting aside my dental need due to i cant afford it and because i was scared. but coming to alberta dental made it so easy and comforting. I could not belive the low prices for the excellent quality. I had sevral veneers done by Dr. Yareli Canizales. she was so carful and gental with me. the place was clean and i notice they steralize all the materials after they are done using it with every patient. The receptionist are so helpfull when filling out my ADA from for insurance. i recommend alberta dental.

I traveled over 18,000 miles to come see alberta dental. they were recommended by a friend and I was amazed with their work and efficiency, I could not believe the work was done overnight. the 23 zirconia crowns I had cemented are beautifull. the staff are awsome especialy Mary at the front desk she helped me so much and guided me on my stay and treatment. thums up for her and Dr. Noyra Ponce. I will deffenetly come back.

Took my brother-in-law to Dr. Leonardo at this clinic for crowns and caps. He had 20 teeth done in total. Price was definitely good. Unfortunately, they started falling out within 3 months. When he went to his dentist in Canada, he was shown just how poor quality the work was. I had a nightguard done by Dr. Leonardo and it was such thin plastic that it cracked within a month. Would not recommend.

Crown popped off my implant after 2 months. I had to pay someone locally in Canada to fix the work done in Mexico. Travelling 2500km to to re-cement the crown isn't a viable option.

Went in to get an estimate had 3 broken teeth pulled even with gum line no pain quick and professionally done. Will go back again.

They just care about making money

Just saw Dr. Leonardo Vazquez. He is the best dentist in Los Algodones. We have tried others and they are the best. Fair prices, comfortable waiting room and modern equipment. His assistant was the best my husband ever had. Had crown work and cleaning. Very happy with the appointment.

I had nine crowns on my upper jaw and they were the premium crowns and a shade whiter by Dr Jesse. This year I had six crowns on the lower jaw. These were the premium white ones too by Dr Jesse. Both times the prep was about one hour and the permanent crowns were put on the next day and we were heading to Mesa by three o'clock. They are really nice and I recommend getting the premium crowns at 100 dollars more as they will hold up forever. Amigo

I want to commend Dr. Uriarte and the staff at your dental clinic for an EXCELLENT dental experience last week. My treatment was professional and thorough from start to finish. Everything was explained to me in detail (and in English!) and great care was taken to ensure a comfortable experience. After having had terrible dental work done at another clinic in Los Algodones last year, Dr. Uriarte not only undid the existing damage, but fitted my 9 replacement crowns perfectly! She is truly an expert. She and her assistant Kenia and the rest of the staff went above and beyond in fitting me in during my short stay, even going so far as to call a taxi for me to get to the airport. I am thrilled with my result, my teeth look and feel great and I am happy to be able to chew properly once again. Please feel free to use me as a reference for your clinic.
