I scheduled an appointment 4 weeks in advance. I received a text to confirm that I planned to attend and I confirmed it 2 weeks before my actual appointment. I received an email the day of the scheduled appointment that stated I had an appt. at 6:00am that day. I called their office immediately when they opened and was told my appt. was not on their schedule any longer and they didn't understand what happened. To appease me, they scheduled me to come in 2 days later at 11:10. I arrived earlier than anticipated because I had never been there before. All in all, I was probably 35-40 minutes early, filled out the necessary paperwork and waited. The office was very busy, but by the time I finally just walked out, it was now 11:30 (20 minutes past my scheduled time) and there was an elderly couple who had arrived early for their appt. at 11:30. It was already time for their appt. Rather than wait any longer, I just left as I had another appointment to get to. Very, very disappointing interaction with his office. Although, I cannot say it would have been good or bad because I never got to see the doctor.

Listen, this Doctor and staff are great, friendly, courteous with a great sense of humor. So desperately needed these days. Now, let me tell you about Doc, greatly qualified to solve problems, but more importantly is his dedication to make sure you are totally satisfied with the results. Great Doc!!!! Oh! I almost forgot you do not let laughing gas, cause Dr. Feinberg will having you laughing you forget about your pain. Very professional service. Highly recommended. P.S. I am a retired veteran and the VA referred me to Richard Feinberg DDS in La Mesa, CA. And I fully endorse him, {Don't worry I m not getting paid) Gonzo Semper Fi!

Terrible customer service. Asked them to send my medical reports and I had to call them 10 times, still haven’t received them. They told me to wait for 2 weeks when I was in urgent need for treatment and when they finally scheduled me it was for 1 month later…. Like why didn’t they tell me that before they kept me waiting for 3 weeks

I had an appointment yesterday for 1:30 pm and I checked in at 1:00 pm. There were 8 patients in a 8' x 12' waiting room with a water refrigerator in a corner and a coffee station on the other side. There were people waiting ahead of me. Two separate patients came in 20 minutes to 30 minutes later than those of us who have been waiting and were admitted right away. 2:30 came (one hour later) and I was told that I am next. Another patient voiced his concern of his long wait. We both left after 5 minutes for another appointment. It is obvious that Dr. Feinberg is cramming as much patients he could in a day's time and sacrifice customer service and efficiency. His staff are clueless and unprofessional.

Dentist double books..Went for my 10:30 apt got there at 10:10. There were 5 ppl Sitting in the small waiting room.. sit down after checking in and this lady comes in 10 mins later bringing pies and cookies saying she’s sorry she’s late and within 5 mins she’s brought back “becasue they want to take impressions before they pick up lab comes to get them” at this point I’m hearing other patients saying their apt was at 8:30 am!!! They should have made the lady rebook her apt and there is NO REASON ppl are still waiting at 2 plus hours past their apt. Horrible office. I only had to go back because they left a sharp piece on my crown they put in and it keeps cutting me. Also been asking for my records for months and they never send them to me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Dr. Feinberg brought my confidence back! BEST DENTIST I’VE EVER VISITED. I was born with cleft lip and palate and I have a missing tooth where my cleft was before. I felt embarrassed to smile and to show my gap openly so I will often cover my mouth every time I laugh, eat or or sometimes speak. However, after finishing my orthodontist work, Dr. Feinberg provided me with a clear retainer with a customized tooth, perfect for my mouth, and I CANT STOP SMILING EVER SINCE! And that’s not all, after having several surgeries in the past and having a hard time to clean my mouth afterwards, besides of being a huge coffee drinker, my teeth darkened overtime… Dr. Feinberg team to the rescue! They offered me the take-home whitening treatment, and I can’t feel more happy with my smile! Finally, my dreamed smile is slowly coming true, after a long medical journey. I can’t wait to have my implants done here! I’m so glad to have Dr. Feinberg team as part of my dental journey! Excellent work, amazing, kind and caring team, and affordable prices! Arcy is also one of the kindest person I’ve ever met. If you’re looking for a dentist, you don’t need to look anywhere else!

Once Again “••••Communication goes a VERY long way••••” (Overall this is an EXCELLENT Dental Office.) I Very Much appreciate Dr. Feinberg and “RC”. I arrived for my initial appointment on an extremely busy day for the office. While my first appointment experience at this office was less than ideal; in all honesty it was pretty much the opposite of ideal, but after I voiced my experience, I was promptly contacted in order to discuss my experience. Everything that resulted in my writing a less than stellar review was rendered Moot in a single telephone conversation with Dr. Feinberg, followed up by the A++ follow up visits, which are no doubt the norm, and in turn I couldn’t be more delighted to offer the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review that is well warranted. I would also like to mention that Dr. Feinberg has the best personality out of any dentist, periodontist, prosthodontist, etc… that I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by, including those currently, and that says a lot since I currently have or have had two periodontist, three dentist, and Dr. Feinberg being my first prosthodontist. While my actual treatment is in the works, he has already acted as an advocate on my behalf and have every confidence that his reputation proceeds him, and I can’t wait to Git-er-Done with er being whatever procedure is best for me. UPDATE: according to the dental chief at the VA, my bone density won’t support implants, so I agreed to go with a partial and phoned your office to schedule my appointment, but was told that your office needed to get authorization for that procedure versus the original bridge or implant. It wasn’t the receptionist who I spoke with, but the lady that I did speak with said that she would call me back the next day with an update, and I said that I would reach out to my primary dentist as well. It’s been two weeks and I never received a call back, and after having already heard from my primary dentist that the original authorization already has permission for the bridge, and that the only thing left to do was for your office to schedule me for fittings and moldings. I’m just gonna stop my review here because it’s making me miserable due to the extended time that I’ve endured with the VA and now…

Dr. Feinberg is a great dentist and has a great team. I needed to get my crown replaced and it was super uncomfortable and hurt a lot. It was getting in the way of work and my ability to get through every day. Luckily, Dr. Feinberg replaced my crown it fit perfectly in my mouth… FINALLY NO MORE PAINNN! It has been a rough year because of the bad placement of the previous crown. I’m so lucky to have found such an experienced dentist like Dr. Feinberg.

They are very disorganized. Stay away! They have no idea of patient care because the dentist is seeing 7 patients at one time. I went twice to have a crown placed and the first time they did not have crown. They did not call me to let me know. So I wasted 3 hours for nothing. So I have a temporary crown for almost 3 months now. They rescheduled appoint for a month and a half later and surprise.. they still did not have crown and had no idea. Dentist blamed his bad staff. So I am in pain. I called and left messages twice yet no return calls returning my pain. They are horrible!

Worst experience ever. Had me wait over an hour before anyone came to see me. Quoted me a very incorrect price. I had to go back and ask them to check the insurance again. Get it together

Had my post delivery denture check today. Went smoothly as always. Dr. Feinberg and staff are very friendly and respectful. They display great concern for my comfort and safety. Dr. Feinberg made me the first set of dentures that I was comfortable wearing all day. All the others I had made at different clinics never fit correctly. I guess it pays using an accomplished professional like Dr. Feinberg.

I have no problem with Dr. Feinberg but his office/medical staff are the most unprofessional group of people I have ever met. My husband was a disabled vet. While waiting for VA approval for “next steps” in his treatment, I had several questions. I tried to talk to someone in the office and while they kept saying someone would call me back, no one ever did, I called every day almost for two months with no call back. One individual (RC) told the office staff she had nothing to call me back for. I had questions and she refused to call. This was horrible treatment for a disabled vet and his wife. Answering a couple of questions that would have taken at most a couple of minutes was apparently too much work. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect before. There was no excuse. Sadly, I felt compelled to write an honest review.Maybe Dr. Feinberg will take note and remedy their unprofessional conduct so no one else has this experience.

I’ve been in San Diego one month and broke my front tooth. I looked for the top 10 dentists in San Diego, Dr. Feinberg was one of them I called Monday and got an appointment for Wednesday to say I am happy with the results would be a tremendous understatement. The first person I spoke with was Carmen, who was compassionate, knowledgeable and professional, then I met Nidea my dental technician who quickly made me feel at ease with her confidence, positive attitude and calming nature, then came Dr. Feinberg, he is skilled, professional and even funny! I was worried the color of the composite was going to be different than the color of my natural tooth but there is NO difference! It looks like MY tooth again, but better!! I was done within the hour and the cost didn’t break the bank. Thank you to everyone at San Diego Dental Center I am extremely grateful!

Dr. Feinberg overall is good dentist. But the accounting and follow-up have been less then desired. In the last 3 weeks, I have left numerous messages with Helen and Carla. For a simple email copy of an invoice and follow up on credit to be refunded since moving out of state. I've been promised multiple times that they would send invoice via email and call back later in day concerning refund. 3 WEEKS LATER STILL NO CALL!!!!!!!

Dr. Feinberg is amazing! Years ago another dentist absolutely destroyed my mouth with failed dental work and procedures done incorrectly. As a result all of my upper teeth needed to be removed. Just when I had lost hope that I would have the confidence to eat comfortably or in public again, I was lucky enough to find Dr. Feinberg. After 8 years of suffering and feeling shame, I can finally eat without pain and feel confident enough to eat in front of others. I can’t say enough positive things! Thank you Dr. Feinberg for making me feel good about myself again and getting me out of pain!
