I’m on a family road trip all the way from Montreal, Canada. I had a tooth ache that I thought could be a problem. Nick sr Dr. Dalia’s office made room for me right away. I drove down to Tijuana from San Diego as soon as I could. The service was excellent and the price was so affordable. My dentist back home had told me I needed massive, expensive intervention. A second opinion months ago ruled out what he’d proposed. But I feared I’d get a similar diagnosis in TJ. Instead, Dr. Valeria reassured me that my dentist back home had recommended an unnecessary procedure, that my teeth were in great shape, and that I had nothing to worry about. I glhighky recommend this dentist office to anyone needed honest, reliable care. And they’re perfectly bilingual, super clean, and ultra friendly.

I’ve never had such a pleasant experience with a dental office as I had with Dra Dahlia’s staff. I was actually very comfortable and relaxed after meeting and talking with Dra. Valeria Bonilla Salgado. In my first visit I had X-rays taken and a deep root cleaning procedure done. I’ve had that procedure done at other dental offices before, and I was always a bit sore for a couple of days; that wasn’t the case with Dra Salgado. After the procedure my wife and I went out for lunch. No soreness, no discomfort, no problem being able to bite down and enjoy the lunch. A few weeks later I had a dental hygiene appointment with my US dentist’s dental hygienist, who commented that she could see that I had a deep root cleaning done. And the entire implant procedure experience with Dra Dahlia’s staff was the same. Dr. Hector did a fantastic job with the final phase of me getting implants for my four front teeth. No complications, no issues, just a very happy and nice looking smile when all was said and done. On top of all that, your US dental insurance will reimburse you for dental work at this office in accordance with your coverage. I have Delta Dental and they, based on my coverage, reimbursed me for a portion of the cost. The office is immaculate, equipped with the latest dental technology. Their dental implants are actually manufactured in the United States. And all this for 1/3 to 1/2 what it would cost in the United States; definitely worth a visit and so close to the border.

We wasted like $3,000.00. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST BAD QUALITY AND HIGH PRICES. My mother got a partial denture and my brother got a partial and a crown, they all broke after 6 months very bad quality. The sample that the dentist showed us is not the same quality that my family got. Why should we come back to Tijuana for the warranty when we live 500 miles away, when the dentist could have given us good quality partials that is what we paid for, this place is a rip off. After we went to this dentist, we went to get prices from other dentist and they were cheaper. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE YOU GET GOOD QUALITY FOR THE HIGH PRICES THAT THEY CHARGE.

I highly recommend this clinic. I used them few years ago, back then I was extremely happy with their services, and now I could say the same thing all over again. They also offer reasonable prices specially compared with the outrageous US prices. Dr. Adriana was very knowledgeable and gentle in treating a procedure that was incorrectly done by another dentist. She fixed the horrible job and helped in getting rid of the scorching pain and the sleepless nights.

I went to Dr. Dalia Dental Care for a cleaning and wisdom teeth extractions. The office made scheduling a weekend appointment very easy, the procedure was quick and painless and my recovery has been great. The office also provided a medical pass to help expedite the border crossing. I would highly recommend their services.

I have been going to Dr Dalia for about 3 years. The location is excellent as it is very close to the border and right next to the Hotel Pueblo Amigo. It is a short 5 minute drive OR 15-20 minute walk across the border. The dental care is just as good as in the US. I am 68 years old so I have had lots of dental care in the US. I am completely happy with the dental care. The office is clean and modern. The area is safe. The prices are GENERALLY 50% (possibly less) of what you would pay in the US. I would recommend Dr Dalia.

I live in San Diego County, and I've been coming here for over 3 years. I had a lot of work done on my teeth, and I am pleased with the results and my overall experience here. Huge thanks to Dr. Dalia's team for taking care of my teeth! Maria at the front desk coordinated my appointments and always sent me reminders. She is very friendly, and she always hooked me up with a medical pass!! I don't have a SENTRI pass, so for me the medical pass is the fastest way to cross the border back to San Diego. The clinic is near the border, and the medical lane queue typically isn't bad. Most of my visits were with Dr. Ruben. He is an excellent and thorough orthodontist. My orthodontic treatment was a little complicated because I simultaneously needed three implants, but Dr. Ruben explained the whole process and every movement of my teeth very well, which helped me appreciate my progress. He made sure I felt comfortable with my teeth by the end of each visit and that I was happy with the final result. I was a little nervous about the implants, but they turned out to be quick and painless, thanks to Dr. Ibarra. Later on, Dr. Hector completed the restoration and looks of my teeth with crowns and composites. Dr. Valeria and Dr. Adriana are great, too - they helped maintain my teeth and gums through routine cleaning (they're gentle; I was trying to stay awake one time). Also, thanks to the friendly assistants, Anna and Emily, for their help making treatments smooth and comfortable, especially for the well-timed saliva ejector pokes!! It's great that there was a specialist for each work that was needed, and they coordinated together in one team, so I mostly just had to show up, open my mouth and pay (affordable compared to US prices).

Honestly the best experience I have had with a dentist. All the staff and doctors are very caring and honest. I came once after being told in CA I needed a deep cleaning on all 4 quadrants. I told Dr. Dalia's dentist and instead of going with it and charging me for a pricey procedure they were honest and said I only needed a deep clean in one small area. The second time I came was after I was told I needed a root canal due to a cavity under my large filling. Dr. Adriana carefully assessed my tooth on the X-ray and said she was confident enough she can change the filling and save my tooth. She did a wonderful job. The nerve pain I had when I came to her disappeared immediately. I highly recommend this office!

During a trip to TJ in September 2021 I was staying at the hotel across this dentist office and out of curiosity decided to go in for a consultation on a filling that had broken off from my molar. (Three dentist in CA told me I needed a root canal). Dr Valeria helped me that day (funny we have the same name). She told me she believed she could save my tooth with just a filling and with my approval she performed the work at that moment. I am so happy I walked into that office that day. The work was clean, excellent, and fast and I have not had any problems with that tooth since. I actually plan on going back soon to remove 2 silver fillings from USA dentist and get the resin/porcelain ones that they do in TJ. I definitely recommend this office!

Safe location, about five minutes from the US border. Same caliber of treatment and expertise at a fraction of the cost. Updated... After reviewing my bill, it was later discovered that I was charged $750 for dentures. I was initially informed that cost covered both temporary and permanent dentures. But later, I was told that the $750 only covered temporaries. It was necessary to go to another dental office to get permanent dentures ($550 for permanent porcelain full upper with partial lower) Still an Overall, good experience.. But I should have paid better attention to the invoices and stuck to my guns. I still recommend, only advise my friends accordingly.

I’m a recent patient of Doctor Dalia Dental Care and now they have a patient for life! My teeth were a complete mess and after just a few visits I have a brand-new smile. This office was clean and so up to date with the equipment that was used. The staff was so courteous and knowledgeable. The doctor was kind and explained everything she was doing. The English spoken at the doctors office made me feel very comfortable with communicating. I plan on going back in six months to continue my dental work with them as needed. I will be returning in six months to get another cleaning and checking all teeth.

I am so happy that I found Dr. Dalia Dental Care! I was experiencing severe tooth pain and decided to drive to Tijuana from North San Diego and saw Dr. Valeria Bonilla Salgado who is very sweet and knows her stuff. She was able to put a plan in place to not only address my pain but also look into other issues I was experiencing. The office staff, owners and external Dr's (root canal specialist, etc) are simply amazing. They CARE about you!! I've been going there since December 2020 (a couple times a month) and haven't had 1 problem with the office staff, Dr's, or even coming and going in and out of Mexico. They communicate very well via phone, email or text and always answer my questions, which sometimes are a lot. I would recommend anyone that wants to save thousands of dollars or doesn't have dental insurance to come here. They are super close to the border, you can even walk in or choose to park in their parking lot, which is right outside of their office. I saved about $10k coming here for quality dental care!

I have received at Dr. Dalia's Dental Care excellent, attentive, highly professional service from superb dentists and dental assistants! I highly recommend them! New review: I returned to Doctor Dalia's Dental Care for oral surgery and related procedures in late 2020. They observed an excellent protocol for addressing Covid-19 concerns and again afforded me world-class dental service at reasonable prices without half the fuss of trying to schedule oral surgery in the United States. The work itself seems to have been flawlessly done. I personally do not enjoy going to the dentist, but I almost enjoy going here because everyone is so friendly, and the work is genuinely as good as the best dental work I have received in the US.

What an amazing experience we had at Dr. Dalia Dental Care. The staff was so incredibly kind and Maria at the front desk was just the sweetest young lady. I was able to go back with my husband as Dr. Hector went over what his plan will be for giving the hubs a new smile which he explained thoroughly. The office is kept up and very clean. I will add that the gentleman before us card was declined more than once and then several of ours was too which should not have happened so I went onto my bank's app and made the change that I was in Mexico and it went through without any problem. My suggestion if you're traveling from the U.S. is to contact your bank to let them know so you won't have to deal with that. Overall we are both excited to continue this venture with Dr. Dalia's kind and knowledgeable staff.

This place is amazing. Super clean. Very close to the border. You can walk across and call a TAXI ($5), or simply walk there from the boarder (5-10 min). Services is great, they speak English and Spanish and are super friendly and professional. Their prices are much better than that of the US even with most insurances. My dental situation was worse than anticipated. My Dentist at home “ Cleveland Ohio ”had been Warning me for years about grinding my teeth. I had a lot of work that needed to be done. 2 root canals & crowns, an extraction & deep cleaning of all 4 quadrants. Everyone here is very kind & professional. I will be back for all of my dental needs. They were very accommodating to work with my schedule. I flew in from Washington State & only had 2days to work with. I will have to come back in 2weeks for my permanent crowns. I have family in the area, so the 2 long weekends are nice for me. I parked at the border & walked across then short cab ride to the office. I highly recommend Dr Dalia Dental Care.

So i hate the dentist in general, been delaying major worked needed for a while... had shopped around in the USA to get the work done. Some of the numbers i saw were absolutely out of control. So after sharing my problem with a friend of mine, he suggested Dr.Dalia in Mexico... Skeptic by nature i laughed and told him to take a walk. Some more times passed and my issue was getting worse, so i said what the heck, ill give it a try... My friend took me to the office, i met a very friendly staff. So i decided to get the major work done. Now i must personally thank Dr.Valeria... I know that im not the easiest patient to work with, but Valeria put up with me, eased my mind the best she could, and did a great job in phase 1 of the implants (extractions, bone grafts). Thank you Doc. Pros: Healthier mouth, confidence, finding a great dentist, and saving money. Cons: Not being able to eat a churro on the way home. Thank you to all the staff.

This dentist was recommended to me by a friend at work and I had a tooth that I thought needed a root canal and a crown so I made an appointment and went in a couple weeks ago. After an X-ray it was determined by Dr Valeria that the tooth had to be extracted so she did that and also a bone graft to prepare me for an implant! Dr Valeria did an amazing job with those 2 procedures and keeping me reassured and at ease during the whole process...she earned my trust! I went back in yesterday to get the sutures removed and she did that and said everything looked fine and now I have the waiting period for my jawbone to heal and get stronger so I can move on to the next phase of the implant! This dental office is a wonderful choice for anyone travelling abroad for minor dental care and major dental surgeries alike. The staff are incredible people with kind hearts and plenty of experience. There are also hotels right nearby including the Pueblo Amigo Hotel in which we stayed and enjoyed. More about my experience: My fiance had a lengthy procedure to have nearly all of her teeth root canalled and crowned. Unfortunately we did have to make 2 separate trips (from upstate NY mind you) as the permanent crowns needed more time to be fabricated and we had only planned a stay of one week. had we planned a two week trip it could have all been done in those two weeks. Despite making the trip twice and paying for taxis, ubers, airb&b, hotel, and airfare; the cost of the procedure was nearly cut in half in comparison to having the very same procedure done in the states. I can't mention the kindness of the staff enough. From checking in with us frequently, showing us local places to visit, to even offering us a ride back to the border after they closed up shop; they have shown more kindness than any other establishment I've frequented. If you have never been to Mexico (I hadn't before this) then you may have some reservations about it. To that, I tell you not to worry. keep your head on straight and show everyone the respect you would like to be shown and you will have a lovely time. I will be going out of my way to recommend this establishment to anyone in need of dental care.

I am a single woman who flew to San Diego, where I was put into good hands. Any fears of going alone were diminished when a ride arrived at the airport to drive me to the clinic. The man who drove me was very pleasant and made me very comfortable. The driver, Eric, told me what to expect and was open to my questions. After arriving at Dr. Dalia's clinic I was greeted by by Dr. Dalia's staff and Mike, whom I conversed with prior to departing my home. Mike took me to the hotel he had arranged for me to stay, which was next door to the clinic and is lovely. Dr. Dalia, had looked at my x-rays and mouth then gave her recommendation. Interesting, Dr. Dalia saw something in my x-rays, a trauma to two of my upper teeth, that none of the dentists or peridontists whom I had paid tens of thousands of dollars to had ever mentioned, that needed to be pulled. One of these teeth had bothered me for years. After being pulled, the doctor showed me a hole in one of the roots to one of the teeth she pulled. That same day, I had bone grafts, implants, and other dental work and was able to fly home the next evening, after being fitted with a flapper to hide where the teeth had been pulled. I will return in about 6 months, making sure the bone graft healed, and will finish the process. I was given medication for pain, yet today, the day after returning home, I no longer need. I was treated by different professionals that did exceptional work. The dentist's expertise in workmanship exceeded any I have experienced in the States. I highly recommend Dr. Dalia and the wonderful professionals in her office. Dr. Dalia had been recommended to me by my neighbor who was already a patient of hers for years. My neighbor told me that I did not have to worry because the clinic was very honest and they stand behind the work they do because they want their patients to be happy with their work. Without hesitation, I recommend Dr. Dalia and her clinic and I will be sending my family to her for their teeth.

I am very happy with the dental work. I suffer from PTSD, so every night I have nightmares and grind my teeth. By the time I turned 50, the enamel on my teeth had worn to the point where my teeth and composite fillings were constantly breaking. My dentist in California proposed major work, but I could not go forward with her $30k cost estimate. When my front tooth broke for the second time in 23 months, I searched the tubes for options. I feel lucky that I found Dr. Dalia Dental Care. Dr. Hector performed a complete smile makeover with 19 zirconia crowns fabricated in a lab in Ohio, USA. The results are better than I would have gotten in California at 1/3 the cost. I want to highlight the exceptional kindness demonstrated by everyone associated with Dr. Dalia’s office. There was not a single moment where it was not clear that they appreciate my situation, they want my business, and they will work with me to get the best possible results. The reason for this review is due to the owner husband gouging me as a 5 year customer of this dentist. Her husband has recently took over the billing and is cheating and adding fraudulent charges to your work needed to be done. In the last 3 months they have lost many customer from what thier staff tells me. His name is Mike....beware check around on his prices they went up over 25 percent . You've been warned.

Great and friendly people. Nice clean office and easy to deal with as they speak English. Dentists are very knowledgeable and they dont make you come back over and over. They will work in you after your initial visit if you are willing to do so. Prices are better than in the States without insurance. They do take American insurance. I recommend them highly.

I have recommended Dr. Dalia Dental Care to a number of friends and family members. My wife and I each had a very good experience at the clinic a few months ago. The exams, consultations and treatment were excellent in every way, and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff were the very best. We could not be happier about our experience and will return in the future.

Excellent level of caring professionals. Front desk staff efficiency needs to improve. But they are very nice and a pleasure to deal with. Professionals very warm and friendly. The surgeon gentleman and one of the young lady dentists are extremely caring and the best. Most of the doctors are non-judgemental and willing to work on what you need to get done. Although some of the dentists still use the same approach as in in the US, to try to scare you instead of just getting to do what they are supposed to do. But they are no aggressive or out of place like in the US. They all tell you to take better care of your mouth. That attitude that gets me wired up assuming that they know it all. For years I have been receiving the same advice. But what else can I do? Instead of trying to find out what you are doing wrong, they throw at you the same comment. It was one time watching a shopping network that was selling a sonic toothbrush and listening to the manufacturer description of the product and benefits that I realized plastic toothbrushes weren't enough. My life changed after buying it. No dentist stopped ever to see what I was doing wrong when I was even flossing every night. Now my teeth feels clean! Also you'll find sime dentists go by outdated approaches. Stress is a huge factor in tooth decay. I lived for years (15+) and a permanent stressed condition due to living in a different culture and having a hard time adapting. Guess what happens everytime I go to the doctors? They treat you badly, aggressive, dismissive, conditioned as for you to follow they advice eithout a peep. Twice doctors, one gynecologyst female and one female dentist started yelling to the point everybody outside was hearing what was going on. No like you are going to come back any time soon!! And not like I wanted to add to my stress level. They expect you to fit some patterns, you are out of thise patterns and they go crazy. You would think having a somewhat higher education (no like social sciences that teaches you to think and see humans as a whole) they would have the intellectual capacity to act accordingly, reliable, open minded, understanding, etc. But no, you are a physical part only. After all my rant, I still would choose this place for any dental care. Being in México makes them super friendly. Which is an important part of healing!!!!!! Regardless of still a somewhat obsolete patronizing approach some of the professionals use, which is obvious it is still a trait from the American teaching style, they are super nice in general. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Doctor Dalia and all her doctors are very friendly. They made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I love the atmosphere of the office. They did a wonderful job on my restoration of my incisors . They were able to fix my gaps with beautiful veneers. My smile looks natural and I love it. Thank You Doctor Dalia!!!!!!

My Husband and I received very professional care, clear and consistent information before our treatment and which was consistent with our home dentist recommendations. The dentists that did our work were very trained in their field and gave detailed, and knowledgeable information about our process. They also repaired a crown for free that was defective. The billing charges were made clear and consistent throughout our treatments. The staff was very personable, professional , and helpful which made our time with them very pleasant, something that does not always happen at a dentist. We highly recommend Dr. Dalia Dental Care.
