Always a nice experience ?

Had my first visit to south Nassau dental arts this evening. The receptionist was welcoming and efficient. The hygienist, Nicolette was quick and efficient, as well as being sweet and personable. I had a full set of X-rays, a cleaning and polish all within 35 minutes. The office is clean and quiet. I met with the dr who introduced himself and checked my x rays immediately. I will be scheduling appts for the rest of my family!

Such a seamless appointment; Nicolette is so friendly, she gave a warm welcome and a great cleaning! Everyone is very easy to talk to and very pleasant, I look forward to my next appointment.

My family and I have been patients here for almost a decade and have ALWAYS been met with a smile ?, kindness, and gentle care. NOT ONLY am I a dental patient, but I am a dental patient with at times, debilitating anxiety and PTSD, which makes treating me, well, "challenging" is a nice term for it. ??? They have NOT ONCE had anything but support, thoughtfulness and kindness when my issues were preventing me from doing what they needed me to do. Once I froze in their chair for a minute, and then busted our crying. I was mortified. They were patient & sympathetic. It was remarkable to me. ❤️ I like and appreciate them so much that we moved out of town but continue to drive the extra 25 minutes to be seen by them. iMHO, just because someone WANTS to be a dentist, doesn't mean they "should" be (y'all know what I mean ?)... Dr. Shoukry was born to to this. He is THAT good... and for the record, I don't like most medical peeps...

I’ve been going there for yrs never had any issues. Brought my wife there today for first time she was happy with her experience. Know she’s finally going to get all her issues resolved.

I am very disappointed of the service provided, including professional responses and miss information provided by the South Nassau Dental arts. on June 18, 2024, i had an appointment to work on a crown after i getting a procedure for a root canal provided by an Endodontist. the appointment with South Nassau Dental Arts, was for the purpose of getting the crown work, however, the visit was based on an insurance Medicare Aetna, according to the receptionist and doctor Adam, they received confirmation the insurance will pay 50% and i will be responsible for the other 50%. at the time of my appointment, i paid my part before being examine, and i was given a second visit on July 5 to continue the crown work, most frustrating was the phone call on July 3, 2024, when the receptionist said that my insurance now does not cover any dental work, even they received previous confirmation, my appointment was cancelled and therefore lost my initial payment. this office lied to me and made false statements to get me into their office and take advantage so i did not have a choice but paid in full. i have requested a full refund, which i have being ignore. i intend to take this office to small claims court and get my money back. i will not recommend their services based on misleading information

I want to thank Nicolette, the dental hygienist who administered my cleaning today, she was exceptionally quick and thorough. She did an excellent job. My visit to Dr. Shoukry’s office was painless, including setting up my appointment with the office receptionist, Valerie. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a dentist.

I am so comfortable going there. Nicollette is Great. I was the person who only went when I had a problem. Not anymore. I go every 6 months. Dr. Shockey is Great too. Best dental experience ever.

After seeing several doctors and being in a lot of pain in my mouth, I came to see Dr. Michael Ivry for another opinion. He was extremely knowledgable and he was able to get to the root of my problem right away! Not only was he extremely competent in treating all my dental needs. He was even able to help me with all of my TMJ issues that I have been suffering with for so many years.A problem that no other dentist was able to fix! Dr. Ivry has all new state of the art technology and I found his office to be very clean and nice!!

I got so lucky! South Nassau Dental is a COVID up to date dental practice. The hygienist Laura, is excellent. She took the time to explain and address how I could improve my daily oral hygiene needs. Thanks Laura. My exam by Dr Brian Goldberg was extremely thorough. I am very pleased with the professionalism in this office. I’m newly retired from working for a dentist (25 years) in Queens. I am a tough critic.

By far the best dental experience I’ve had. I m so glad I found this office ! I used to be very anxious before getting a dental procedure or even getting my teeth cleaned, but Dr Shoukry was so incredible and professional. He completely changed my experience. I had a few cavities to heal and was never in pain - not during, not after the procedure. Everybody was incredibly nice to me. I trust this office 100% and would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for the best and fairest dental care. Will definitely send my friends and family.

Very friendly staff and clean facilities. I have had an aversion to dentists due to negative past experiences (i.e., I have sensitive gums and often find my dentist visits painful) - the team at South Nassau Dental really put me at ease. I went for my first visit to get a routine cleaning and X-rays, I left with a smile :) I would definitely recommend!!!

I have not been going here for long, but the experiences I have had so far have been great. They work quickly and efficiently and I left feeling very satisfied with the job that they did. The staff was very kind and helpful.

I have returned to this practice after years of absence due to now resolved insurance issues. Although Dr. Russo has moved out of State, I was happy to see that Dr. Shoukry is still there. You can expect the caring, competent, professional dental care from Dr. Shoukry that seems to be lacking at the corporate run dental practices that only seem to be interested in separating you from your money. Backed up by Mary in the office, who patiently and completely answered my questions about my upcoming treatment, and you have a winning team. May 2, 2022 Just a followup. Had my first cleaning after the excellent job Dr. Shoukry did completing the crown added to the implant and post placed by Dr. V at South Shore Oral Surgery. These two dental practices coordinated this implant far more efficiently and professionally than the all in one practice or giant corporate practice AT A LOWER COST! The routine cleaning today by Dental Hygienist Nicholette was great. Thorough and pain free. I couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a professional, competent dental practice, Dr. Shoukry and his team provide the best care anywhere. You won’t be sorry. Excellent Excellent Dentist office. Dr. Shoukry is a great guy and a wonderful Dentist. His partner Dr. Russo moved to Maine so it's just Dr. Shoukry now. The office is clean and modern. The staff and Dr. Shoukry are patient, friendly, knowledge and make you feel comfortable and at ease. If you're looking for a Dentist, look no further, you'll be glad you came here.

I am not a doctor/dentist person at all. With that being said this office is excellent. Right off the bat they actually take you when your appointment is. Everyone is very friendly and thorough in explaining what they are going to do next. If you need a dentist I highly recommend this practice.

This practice was awesome when Dr. Russo was a partner. Since he left the quality of care and treatment of patients has declined. Dr. Shoukry is awkward, dismissive and robotic. He lacks compassion and won't even return calls. This treatment may have been racially motivated. Left this practice.

Dr. Russo is the BEST dentist I have ever been to. I drive about 40 minutes each way just to see him and would drive 40 or more if I had to, thats the type of quality service he provides. I have been to many dentist and not one compares to Dr. Russo, his excellent mannerism, knowledge and gentleness make you forget you are even at the dentist.

I love Dr. Russo, I’ve been coming here for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have been a patient of Dr. Russo for several years now, after a friend recommended him. It was a fantastic recommendation; one I've taken to passing on to anyone I know who needs a dentist. The office is sparkling, Dr. Russo and his staff are super friendly and professional, and Dr. Russo's bedside manner is outstanding. He walks you through the entire process, explaining your x-rays, what preventive measures to take, how to improve overall oral health. He's fantastic. I've had a few really negative experiences with dentists (one put me in the hospital, for example), but I can honestly say any trepidation I had about dentistry was completely erased by South Nassau Dental Arts.
