Meet Dr. Joel Khoo
Dr. Joel Khoo brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for excellence in patient care. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the National University of Singapore before advancing to a Master of Science in Prosthodontics at the University of Iowa.
Dr. Khoo chose dentistry because it combines surgery, artistry, and the fulfillment of transforming patients’ lives through exceptional care. His specialized prosthodontics training allows him to restore confident, beautiful smiles for patients with complex dental health challenges.

Meet Dr. Boss
Dr. Boss, our skilled and dedicated orthodontist, is a proud Texas native who grew up in a small town north of Dallas. A former soccer team captain at the University of Texas at Dallas, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Performing Arts.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, now Texas A&M College of Dentistry, and completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry during her Air Force service. Dr. Boss's diverse experience includes general dentistry, pediatrics, military service, private practice, and teaching at a dental school.
After seven years of dental practice, Dr. Boss pursued her dream of becoming an orthodontist. She earned a Master’s in Health Administration and a Certificate in Orthodontics from the highly regarded A.T. Still University – Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.

Was to get final set of dentures,figuring would do a mold and go get dentures in a few weeks. Instead the dentist did some picture layout of the current dentures when he could of did the denture molds so we would go back one more time instead of going back 2 more times.
I'm sorry to hear about your experience. We understand your frustration and appreciate your feedback. We did inform you that we would need to get approval from her insurance prior to her getting dentures. We did not get that information until just recently which was explained you when you called on 4/15 and 5/7 of this year. Our office does not have a inhouse lab, so there are several steps before getting the final denture. If you need further assistance or have any questions, feel free to reach out to us regarding your wife's treatment and how it with her insurance.

These people are pathetic, I wouldn't send my dog here. They are unprofessional and unfriendly. They failed to get my prescription to a pharmacist in a timely manner, I had to drive to the office because they were not answering phones, to get them to call the Rx in again. That wasted half of a day. Then I called all morning, and left messages regarding my appt. And was never called back. I eventually got someone on the phone to let them know I might be a few minutes late, the lady says ok but when I got there they said I had to be rescheduled. They are incompetent and inconsiderate at best, patient care is clearly the bottom of their list..

I had a tooth extraction recommended at this place. The dentist who owns the practice recommended the extraction of one of my wisdom teeth and when I told him I had severe anxiety about dental surgery due to a prior bad experience, he assured me they would give me gas and I would have a positive experience. I called them and paid for my appointment in advance and just had the extraction done today. Unfortunately, even though the HEAD DENTIST recommended that I get gas for the extraction, they FORGOT to put it in my treatment plan and I was not made aware of this during the payment process, check in process, or really at ALL until I asked about it just before they began the extraction, at which point it was too late for them to give me the gas because they had already done two fillings and they warned that since I hadn’t eaten breakfast the gas would make me sick. Then when I asked for more anesthetic during the extraction because it was very painful, the guest dentist they had filling in for the head dentist made it seem like I was faking the pain! He said “we can only give you one more shot before we have to send you somewhere else, so you need to decide if you’re really in pain or not” which was a TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE thing to say to someone who is literally sweating and shaking.

Funny thing is both businesses that flank then in the same building had power. Had a 1:30 appointment at Tide Dental today. The normal custom is to arrive at least 15 minutes early for 1st appointment to fill out information and history forms. To my schgrin the entrance was locked on arrival. There was a posting that explained closed 12:30 - 1:30 for lunch. Odd I thought. I did find the place sparkling clean and employees friendly and professional. Dr Koot was just great with teeth exam explaining everything. Then the only cleaning I was offered was a "deep cleaning". I have no gum problems to warrant a deep cleaning. I really only wanted the regular cleaning. When I declined the deep cleaning I was shown the door.

Do you not go here. This place is horrible. I went in for a regular cleaning and exam and was told I had a cavity. I went in for a filling and it was the most painful experience I have ever had at a dental office. I felt every single drill and injection. I then continued to have pain in the tooth for a week. When I returned to the dental office, I was forced to get it refilled. I then continued to have more pain in the same tooth and was forced into a root canal with a crown the root canal with the crown cost me $600 out of pocket I was told I would receive $400 back When my insurance paid out the claim,. I eventually called them to inquire about the reimbursement, and was told that they filed a claim, but it had not been paid out after three months of trying to get my reimbursement back. I was then told that I would only be receiving $150 they claim to have it charged me $50 for a missed appointment that I had called to cancel but they were not open at the time that I called. This place is a scam. I should have read the reviews before going there. Save yourself the pain the time and money. Do not go to Tide dental

This is the best dental practice in Corpus Christi. I know, I have been to several. Not only are the dentists amazing, the staff, including the front desk, the techs, and the dental hygienist are top notch. Today I went to get a night guard, they didn’t have to do a messy clay impression. They used a new technology were they scan your mouth with a camera, then send the results to the lab. 10/2023 update review The lady at the front told my daughter I didn't have the best attitude. That is very unprofessional. Especially when I am the one complaining that the office manager never contacted me as requested. And I am the problem? The dentist and hygenist are good.My issues are with scheduling, billing, and office staff. I have had several issues in the last months that changed my rating from 5 to 2. Recently, I had horrible tooth pain that was constant. It was very intense throbbing pain but they couldn't fit me in for over a week.I explained the level of pain and it didn't matter. Then I was sent to a specialist which scheduled me immediately. I asked to speak to the office manager or dentist at Tide Dental I was upset with a few things. The person on the phone did not seem tShe was professional but not caring. I told her I felt like they don't care. She told me they have over 1000 patients.I guess that means you just suffer. I will be looking for a new dental office for me and my daughter. Very disappointing as I like the dentist and we have been going here for a few years. I need to know I can get care in a timely manner. I shared my experiences with family and friends. All said change dental practices this is not their experiences. Now need to see if their dentist accept my insurance. NOTE: I went in today and asked for the office manager and she isn't there. I said i had already asked her to contact me months ago. No apology by the lady at the desk. I said this time I want the dentist to contact me since the office manager never did. She said ok. The dentist was sitting in an office directly behind her. I guess I will be waiting for contact as she didn't go and let him know. This will be our final appointment. As long as you don't have time sensitive needs, don't ming paying up front and waiting for reimbursement, and rude front desk lady, then this is the place for you. Dentist and staff are friendly and clearly explain procedures. I really like at the end of the visits you get an itemized list of recommended care. I have that for future use if I don't get everything scheduled immediately.

Very disappointed in the staff here. I have been a patient for a year and today is the first time I got all the work that was supposed to be done that day completed, only because I insisted due to my insurance for the year not being used up yet. There is also a concern for the general cleanliness of this facility. The floors have not been mopped (pictured) in quite some time and there is visible dirt and grime in every corner of this facility. When I brought these concerns calmly and politely to the office manager she blatantly told me to find another dentist if I don’t like it. Unfortunately my insurance is only accepted here. Looks like I will be going through the process of changing insurances. If your office manager has an attitude of “it is what it is” rather than “there’s always room for improvement” you need a new office manager.

I needed to find a dentist due to years of neglecting to go. I am very glad I found Tide Dental when I did. I had a broken tooth and no idea how many cavities. I was so nervous about going and how much it was going to cost. I thought I'd be in a lot more debt. But everyone was very friendly and addressed all of my concerns. I had to get a crown and several old fillings redone. I just got done with my appointment for the temporary crown and I don't think it could have gone better. Going to the dentist for any reason isn't anyone's idea of fun. But they were very attentive and nice. I didn't experience much pain at all, just the numbing needle. And the doctor had suggestions to finish off my fillings at the same time I get the permanent crown cemented. I am grateful that I can do that instead of a ton of extra appointments like I've had to do in the past. I highly recommend Tide Dental. It's the best Dental Office I have been to.

But I have to say, for my 6th month cleaning the Dental Hygienist wasn’t in and the doctor did my cleaning....worst cleaning ever! It probably took 10 minutes altogether! You’d think if the doctor was going to do it, it would be a pretty good job but definitely not! He got water all over my face and the tooth polish fell in my hair...it’s also a problem that no one told me she would be out and if I had a choice to reschedule. The other tech asked if I wanted to change to a different day when I was already in the chair....don’t recommend getting a cleaning from the actual dentist, go figure ??♀️

I went here for a dental checkup/cleaning a few months ago when i first moved to Corpus Christi. The wait time was TERRIBLE! With an appointment i waited nearly two hours, they had the sandlot 2 playing and i watched the entire movie plus midway into another one by the time i was called back. They took a ton of pictures of my mouth/teeth but not once did i see the tool cleaned. Im not even sure they changed the plastic before putting the tool in my Mouth. The tool was covered in plastic, they picked it up and just put it in my mouth which made me very uneasy. The entire time i was there there were children running around the office. I think the children belonged to one of the hygienists because one of them walked in the room where i was getting my teeth cleaned in the middle of my cleaning! The hygienist told him to go play and laughed it off but i thought it to be incredibly unprofessional and it made me very uncomfortable. They lady did NOT clean my teeth. She looked around at them and said they looked clean. The dentist came in and spent five minutes with me TOPS. a asian man, he seemed impatient like he would ask me questions and then seem annoyed at the time i was taking to answer him. I spent nearly 3hrs there and got seen for maybe 15min of that. I do NOT feel my teeth were cleaned properly compared to the type of dental care i am accustomed to. The place was just not a good dental office in my opinion. I will not be returning or giving them any of my business

My daughter had a toothache, so I requested appointment online and they responded right away. We got there the next day and got treated. Because of pandemic, we had to wear mask and wrote stuff in the car, checked the fever...very strick to safety concerns. Dr. Khoo was excellent!?

I needed an extraction of a root tip an was very anxious and stressed. Upon my arrival I was greeted by friendly staff. After xrays & Dr exam I was informed of needing pre med due to hip replacement I thought I was going to be sent away and rescheduled To my surprise Dr said take Rx to Walgreens and come right back. I was more anxious by then but to my surprise my Dentist extracted the root tip within 15 min. Excellent job!!! I will return for further work I have found my perfect dental/Dentist office❤

I saw 3 different people during my visit. A tech, a hygienist, and a doctor. Each person took their time with me, explained everything they were doing, and did a super thorough job. Bonus points: the place looks really nice and pretty updated. This was my first experience with Tide. Was kept in the waiting room 50 minutes past time of appointment. Then told a special type of x-ray was required, costing an extra $76. I left without getting a simple cleaning and checkup. I don't appreciate my time being wasted or asked to pay for extra services. Lousy front door practices don't cut it with me!

I was charged quite a bit of money just to get x rays and a quick “exam” of my teeth. They proceeded to tell me I have 4 cavities and that I’d have to pay nearly $700, with insurance, to get them taken care of. This is absolutely ridiculous and these people are just taking money from others.

The data manager and assistant couldn't find my dental insurance information thru my medical insurance provider and had me wait an hour and half for any service. What is worse is that the data manager new my dental insurance provider and didn't even help her own worker find my information as I waited in the lobby for so long. Worse customer service experience that I've ever had in corpus christi! It's a shame for such a highly rated that is place ran by paper pushers who can't even do their jobs!

My experience with Tide was awful. I never even made it in for an exam. My initial appointment with Tide was rescheduled for 30 minutes earlier than the original time and nobody bothered to call. I left work early, called them on my way, and the guy I talked to said my appointment was for 4:00, not 4:30. I called right back and talked to a nicer lady at the desk and she told me my appointment was for 4:30 and didn't understand why it changed. The customer service provided by the guy was horrible. So, that appointment was cancelled because my time was switched without me knowing. I even confirmed a few days before the appointment. Mistake are understandable, but it's not understandable to be rude. I rescheduled for yesterday at 3:00 PM. I had already talked to the original guy over the phone about all of my insurance information. I arrived about 10 minutes early and filled out yet another set of paperwork - almost all the same information I told them over the phone a week prior. I then proceeded to wait 40 minutes. When I asked the receptionist how much longer the wait would be, she hardly bothered to look up from her computer and told me she had no idea. She didn't bother to check or to apologize for my wait. My appointment was at 3:00 PM. There were only 2 people who went back while I was waiting. When it hit 40 minutes of waiting, I told her I would just need to cancel my appointment. She replied that I had X-Rays and they only have one X-Ray room. I'm not sure what this had to do with my wait. I'm a new patient who had to have x-rays, this was known information for everyone involved when I made the appointment. They chose this time, not me. Making a patient wait almost an hour for an appointment is really not respectful of their time and there are plenty of other dental offices in Corpus you can choose. Between the customer service and the wait time, I would most definitely never recommend Tide Dental. There was no redeeming themselves from the first mess up and I didn't sense that they cared whatsoever about the lost business. I would recommend customer service training for the receptionists involved, if it weren't for them, I might've been more patient about the initial mistake and the wait time.

They will tell you that your insurance will cover everything, and then bill you anyway!!! Office staff will not address the issue at all!!! Go anywhere else!!! Edit and more details for their response: I have contacted them regarding the bill, and they refuse to admit they did anything wrong. I asked them numerous times, and they assured my insurance would cover everything so that I would not be billed, but they are still billing me. This happened on both of my visits. On the second visit, I literally told the lady "I think y'all did that last time, and my insurance won't cover it again." They assured me it would be covered. In addition, the only way I know I have a balance is because my fiancé was going to go there with the same insurance, and they told her the insurance would not cover everything. They then looked me up and gave her all my info, and told her the insurance did not cover all of my bill either. I never received a paper bill, and they should not be giving out my information without my permission. They should also honor what they tell you. They claim the insurance lied to them, but I told them I thought they were wrong and not do things that were not covered. If they were unsure, they should have told me, and I would have called the insurance. The insurance claims they explained what was covered to them in detail.

DO NOT COME HERE The dentist is very inexperienced. She is not sympathetic and does not admit to her mistakes. I went in for a tooth ache. They filled four of my teeth and left the one that was hurting WITH NO FILLING . When I went back in to let them know. The dentist said there was nothing she could do and prescribed me a toothpaste for the pain. Then asked me if I would still be coming in to get my tooth extracted at the end of the week. I SAID NO. Why would I let you extract a tooth and you couldn’t even target the tooth that was hurt by looking at the X rays. When she pulled out the X rays she noticed she missed a tooth. She didn’t apologize. She just prescribed toothpaste. Stay away from this place. Oh yeah then they sent me a bill two months late for $12.50 with no explanation. Save your money and your teeth. This place is a joke.

Deserves 0 stars... had 2 wisdom teeth removed and pieces of tooth was still protruding from my gums. Went back they has to go back in and "dig" the bone as they called it out. Havin to numb me and all that. 3 weeks after the last invasive digging I STILL have something poking from my gums! Right when I i was ready to go back in to be tortured again I managed to scrap it out with my nail. NOT TO MENTION THAT FILLED THE WRONG TOOTH ON MY DAUGHTER!!! RUN THE OTHER WAY!!! put 1 star because i cant put any lower than that. worst dental office in the country. military so i do travel to different locations. could stay here and write a book but dont got that time. main reason i am leaving this office is because they will give you exams before ACTUALLY being due, so insurance cant cover basic checks. (frequency of exams). wont know until everything is done and 2 or 3 weeks later. they wont work with you at all, the fault is yours for not knowing or having to call insurance yourself. frustrating, NEVER AGAIN will i ever go here

I called yesterday 8/30/18 because I herd from my co workers that they were great but after today I'll probably never go back you see I called yesterday and spoke to a women about making an appointment I even asked her if they took my insurance she told me yes and even made me an appointment for 8/31/18 at 9:00am I arrived and waited at the door until they open right at 9m I walked in and signed I'm after a women that was in front of me after a few minutes of being there the lady at the front desk asked for my id and insurance card I handed her both then waited a few minutes later she called me to fill out information as I proceeded to fill put the form she called me up and said that they didn't take take my insurance (Mind you I took off work today and will not be getting paid for taking this day off that was scheduled) I was so furious and embarrassed that I just left I do have bills to pay they should of called me yesterday and told me that didn't take that insurance and that there was a miss understanding I'm upset because my co workers has the same exact insurance and she said she got work done at the same place so either they are lien or the rules or policy suddenly changed or maybe who ever scheduled the appointment was new and doesn't know what she was doing or maybe they don't ecept AFRICAN Americans

Their new office is very clean and modern, with screens on the ceiling with kid friendly movies playing that distracted my son from the cleaning. Not a bad experience at all. I was completely nerve wrecked about this being my first time in a dental office visit in my whole life. It wasnt as bad as i expected it to be. It was a wait. Y, because its like a doctors office. People get mad for a wait. What do u expect its a doctors visit. Always show up 30 minutes early. For insurnace, Ids, paperwork and confirmations. Mind u children go there to so put on your patience face. One thing that i strongly advise. STRONGLY ADVISE. is the Priority Dental plan. A brocure in the corner of the room. Its $77 for the entire year. With major dicounts on a list of treatments the dentist performs. Ex. Out of pocket for a tooth extraction is $280. With the plan is 210. Maybe some might find something better somewhere I dont know. But i dont have dental insurance. And the visit itself is $77 out of pocket without any insurance or plan. So. You could pay out of pocket woth no plan n come back n pay fulk price. Or you could sign up for $77 and come back later and pay at a dicounted price. Its not monthly 77 its annual. So i could walk away n call it a year if i want too. But turns out i need a tooth pulled and a deep cleaning. Not bad for someone whos never see a dentist. Cuz i though i was gunna need dentures for never seeing a dentist. Just hope the next visit is just as good.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Tide Dental. I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and was anxious about going. However, everything from making the appointment with the office staff to the visit itself was wonderful. The whole team really put me at ease and my teeth look and feel amazing after my cleaning - this is the first time ever after a cleaning that my gums did not ache. When it came time to discuss a treatment plan the assistant took the time to talk with me about the estimate and how to coordinate a time frame for having it taken care of. I will definitely be coming back thanks to the excellent care of the dentist and hygienist and the helpfulness of the great staff.

It was my 1st time visiting so I very pleased. It was quick didn't take long at all to be seen. It was a smooth transition, you are never left alone waiting for the next step like alot of offices. Everyone was very pleasant and courteous. The front desk was welcoming which is super important to me cuz that's the 1st people you meet and gives you an impression of the business in general. I really don't like a grouchy front desk and thank gosh that was not the case here. Each staff member explained everything very well to me prior to beginning so I was comfortable. Dr. Shah was great. Explained everything, takes his time and engages really well. Great Dr! The location is also new and looks really good.They even have TVs overhead when in the exam chair so you can be distracted a bit during procedures. Bonus, it's next to my fav coffee shop. I'm glad I found this place and even set my kids up with their own apts. I definitely reccomend this office.

This is my second visit to Tide Dental and both appointments the staff has been nice and patient. They explained all procedures and treatment options until I felt comfortable.

The staff was so kind and so informative. They showed me my x rays and pointed out exactly what was wrong and what a perfectly heathly mouth should look like. I asked for a treatment that was more expensive than what I needed and asked why I couldn't get that done and the dental hygentist said ," because it would be unethical. She said she wouldnt do it simply because she'd be overcharging me for something i didnt need." So that was totally unlike the majority of drs offices I've been to. Most just wanna rack that bill up as high as possible and they don't care if u need it or not,,, its all abt sales. But not Tide. They are so honest and thorough...I was very impressed.

I went in for a cleaning and left the place paying $60 for my cleaning service and with a suggested treatment for my "cavities" which was going to cost me about $500 WITH my insurance with NO deductible... I have never once had a cavity in my life and every dentists and oral surgeons I've seen before told me that I has excellent teeth always, so I was pretty surprised in every way here... Took my kid in the week after and left with about $1000 suggested treatment and thought something was odd. I also received a bill in the mail from my insurance company few weeks later, I called my insurance and asked why I received a bill because my plan had no deductibles and they told me its because this dental office charges WAY more than other dental office for their services and that was the reason why they gave me the treatment plan with bills that I'd have to pay the rest. I immediately did some research on better dental offices and made a visit and I was told that I had zero cavities that needed to be worked on. ..... so yeah..... Never again and lesson learned. Do some research before making appointments rather picking places because it's convenient...

I went to in on 11/12/16 to get work done. My wife called and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone to let them know I was running 15 minutes late from work. I got my work done and am still in pain over a week later so my wife made me another appointment to have things looked at. Once again she could get no one to answer the phone you have to listen to a very long voicemail and leave a message for a call back. Finally when she did get someone to answer they were chomping food and eating and told us we wouldn't be seen until Monday. Once my wife started getting upset that I was in pain and needed to be seen they became rude. I got to the office and got called back to see the dentist by "come on bud" not only was the front desk rude, the dental asst, and the dentist were completely unprofessional. Calling your dentist after you got a procedure done and them chomping food and then telling you that you are rude is beyond to me. I sat in the chair getting lectured about how rude my wife was instead of getting my teeth fixed. Speaking of my teeth they are not fixed. She told me I might just be in pain and have sensitivity for years and I was making up the pain. I used the rest of my insurance benefits for the year on the work I got done and now have to sit here in pain until January. I would not recommend this dental office to my dog. Worse experience ever. You should be able to trust your dentist and not walk out in more pain than you went in for.

Tide dental was assigned as our provider by our dental insurance. I was nervous at first about this, but now I'm glad they assigned us to them. The initial visit was thorough and the dentist was very friendly. I went back and had my teeth cleaned and the hygienist was professional and very friendly. She described everything she did during the whole process and why she had to do certain things. The dentist even popped in to see how everything was even though I wasn't seeing her that day. Great dental team. The only drawback was the location (the old mall). Hoping one day they can branch out to another location.

This was my first appointment in twelve years and my daughters' first appointments ever. My 4 year old was a nervous wreck the whole time but they were extremely patient and kind with her. I myself had quite a wait, but it was worth it because they took their time with my exam and cleaning and made sure to do the job right, and well. Very cool.

Tide Dental was honest, professional and very clean. I went in with a quote of dental work from another local dentist office with a total of over $4500 worth of work being needed one crown and a deep cleaning with some antibiotic shoots for each tooth (which I don't need) and that's after what I had to pay after my insurance. My new total and better quality of service and treatment is less than $1000. The staff is great and professional and take the time to talk to you and explain things and work out a treatment plan you can afford.

Not satisfied at all!! Went in for the first time and they have the television on Freeform channel which was very inappropriate for the children in the waiting room. A mother had to close her child's eyes during a scene. The place was dirty. The doctor who cleaned my teeth only cleaned the front and no fluoride was given. Don't feel like my insurance should even pay for this type of service. Staff was friendly and so was the doctor but not satsfied with the service.

I have 3 boys that I take to Tide Dental. I also go myself. A major plus side for me is that they scheduled all 3 boys on the same day. Most offices won't do that! Horrible service, called ahead to see if they did temporary caps on 2 year olds. They told us to come in a get the estimate, when we came in to have the check up and to have the cap out on "which we knew she need a cap since her tooth was chiped" they then told us that they dont do cappings and charged us for service they really didnt provide. Im disputing the credit card charge, and will be contacting the owner for scamming us out of money since they knew they didn't do caps and we asked that the first time during the phone call we made to make sure they could do it before we came in.

Literally the worst dental experience I have ever had. I've never been one to fear or dread the dentist, and have also had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out as well as two rounds of braces. And this one regular checkup was by far the most awful visit to a doctor in my life. The desk staff was awesome and extremely patient with the children. They were great at getting me in as a new patient. BUT once I was taken back, it all changed. The temp space didn't look cleanly. Having never had a cavity in my life, the oral evaluation apparently showed I had 7! I denied any fillings and just wanted the cleaning. Worst. Experience. Ever. The situation was completely unprofessional, with the dentist doing most of the work as opposed to the hygienist. They were extremely rough with my mouth and I was in tears just a few moments in. I thought for sure they were causing damage. Never EVER will I again go to a 'factory' type place. My new dentist (single dentist in a family atmosphere) gave me a clean bill of health and told me they are required at those places to meet a quota. Sickening. They wanted me to pay $500 (WITH insurance) to have unnecessary work done. Seek out a famil dentist, even out of network, over Tide Dental!!!

WOW!! as a new patient, was seen within 10 minutes of arrival, received VERY courteous and quick service, got exam, x-rays, cleaning AND a filling. DDS even filed off a front tooth upon request, as a freebie. Office staff gave me a coupon and assisted me with signing up for very affordable dental insurance which reduced my total bill of $400 to $169. GREAT SERVICE!

Only general practice dentist in Corpus I could find who still does root canals without referring you to an endodontist who charges 3x more because they don't participate in insurance plans. I think the other guys have a referral scam going on in this town. Tide got me in same day, see clients on Fridays (aren't off playing golf or flying their private plane when clients really need help before the weekend!), and were super nice and professional. Kudos to Tide Dental for their awesome customer service and ability to practice true full scale dentistry. Follow up appointment for root canal three days later, and I'm even more impressed. Dr. H did the best, most painless root canal I've ever had and without nitrous. Let me emphasize, I am a baby who's never made it through other root canals without it (BAD old military dentist experience!). I've found my dentist in Corpus.

Took my son in today for an appointment that we set up on Friday. So glad they could see us on short notice & didn't have a 2-3 week wait for new patients. After reading all the reviews online, I was expecting a really long wait. Appointment was at 2:30 & we were in a room by 2:45!! I was already impressed. Dr H was so kind & thorough explaining everything along the way. She was not 'in a hurry' to move on to the next patient. Gave my son the time & attention every dentist/doctor should.

After calling a massive list of dental offices i found most dentists work half days on fridays, and with a broken tooth in pain only 1 office was able to get me in to pull that tooth the same day. The gave me a plan for my mouth that allowed me to pick and choose what i wanted/could afford. They even went as far to explain to me savings they offered for any work they did. Over all it was a smooth yet drawn out few hours. I can see myself coming here on the regular.

DON'T BELIEVE THE FAKE REVIEWS! They're written by "people" who give 5-star reviews to dentists across the state. I actually went to Tide Dental, a sad clinic in a ghetto mall. I waited for 45 minutes, and my "cleaning" only lasted about 10. The doctor skipped a bunch of teeth and didn't even do a good job with the cleaning. I definitely won't be going back.

Had my first new visit here today. The receptionist was friendly and greeted me when I got there. The assistant was super friendly and quick taking my X-rays. The hygienist was very gentle and informative during my cleaning. Dr Khoo was awesome he triple checked my teeth to makes sure all my teeth were in good dental health. I will be returning for some filling cause I love candy ?
