When the back of my Porcelan Veneer cracked, I was luck enough to have Dr. Raanan fix it. He is so precise, like an artist painting a beautiful piece. Dr. Raanan is so professional and you can feel he is just a nice guy too.

We all know someone, or know of someone, who was just lucky enough to have been born to their profession. They always knew what they wanted to do, were blessed with the potential to accomplish it, and had the passion to follow through. I for one cannot imagine dreaming of becoming a dentist. Thank goodness Dr's. Rodney and Justin Raanan did just that. My own dream about even seeing a dentist probably resembled yours: nightmare. Until I met these folks that is. Now I can truly say I look forward to my visits. It's not that they treat you (they do of course). It's more they take care of you. They radiate with a warm yet still confident, eminently professional manner. Not just the docs, but almost everyone on the staff seems to exude this same, glowing sense of kindness. You feel better just walking in the door. While they could easily write a book on their profession, they could do the same for bedside manner. You know, you really know, everything little thing is gonna be all right. The actual technical service is, well, nothing less than perfection. Not so much medical practice as expert craft-work; maybe even artistry. Not that it always comes easy. They labor very, very hard. And keep laboring--no matter how challenging the issues (my own many were not easy)--until they get it, get you, absolutely right. If perfect is the enemy of good enough, they're clearly losing the battle against good. Perfectionism as it pertains to the Raanan's is more a way of being than an impediment to anything. Better, this is a one-stop, family enterprise. Dr. Rodney handles dentistry, Dr. Justin periodontics. If you need an x-ray or a cat scan even, step right this way. A custom crown, a specialty implant, a simple cleaning (in this case ultrasonic actually), you need not venture further than a few steps this way or that. These are the painters who know just the right tone, stroke, texture, and just the right tool needed to complete the final canvas. And they have it all there at their most able fingertips. It does seem--after my many years of acquaintance--they're the sort who would do the work for free. All true artists would. Not to say it's even in the vicinity of even close to free. But in this instance, you really do get what you pay for. Maybe more. And if you have the slightest niggling impulse it all seems just a bit too too much, note to self: they also volunteer their time several times a month to those who can't afford even a simple bristled brush. Think of it as indirect charity. And think of it--you will not regret it--as a treat to yourself. This time I'll book first class. It will end up the best trip you ever took.

Wow. Where have you been all my life?! After struggling with a cross bite, braces and Invisalign, and grinding that caused my front 6 teeth to be stubby and chipped, Dr. Rodney has been the answer to all my prayers and fixed my smile in a way that i never knew was possible. I was scared going in because i didn’t want an obvious veneers look. He assessed the state of my mouth and fixed my bite by filing down some filings that had been making me uncomfortable. And patiently taught me so much about teeth so i understood what was happening at every step of the process. People have been been asking me if I’ve had work done on my face and saying I look prettier without realizing it’s my teeth! Grateful for this artist who gave me the perfect NATURAL LOOKING smile. :D

I just found out about Rodney's practice. I came in for a cleaning, x-rays and exam. The hygienist was excellent. She was gentle and really seasoned at what she does. Dr. Raanan is excellent. He ordered x-rays and came in and read them. He explained that I had some decay, and why. I will follow up with his office to schedule the time to address the issue he wants to take care of. I will continue to see him for all my dental needs. The office location is beautiful and very convenient. He is a very intelligent man which a great business partner. I would definitely recommend this dental practice to someone new to Los Angeles or someone unhappy with the service they are receiving at their current dentist. For someone who has always been scared to go to the dentist, I have never felt at more ease and taken care of as I did at Dr. Raanan’s office. Not only is he by far the best and most amazing dentist, but also an amazing person as well, who is honest and genuinely cares about you, which is very hard to find. He took the time to explain everything from A to Z and made me feel very comfortable. He made my chipped tooth look as good as new and permanently fixed my tooth sensitivity! I can't stop smiling! Initially I went in for a deep cleaning and teeth whitening. Dr. Rodney Raanan mentioned to me that he can fix the old moldings on my two front teeth. Ever since I was in my teens, I have had two front teeth that were misaligned which affected my smile and confidence. Before visiting Dr. Rodney, I had consulted with another dentist in the building who insisted that I get all 6 of my front teeth veneered to make sure they match in color. I am so glad I didn't make that mistake! Dr. Rodney explained that only two veneers were needed in my case and that he would perfectly match the color with my natural teeth. Most importantly, he took the extra time to explain the whole procedure to me. I had 2 appointments and it took less than a week!!! It was completely painless and I couldn't believe my teeth looked so beautiful afterwards, as if nothing was ever done!!! He even used a high-powered microscope during the procedure, something I had never seen before. He truly cares about his patients and does everything in his power to make you feel at ease. Amazing visit! Thank Dr. Raanan and staff for a welcoming visit today. I started off with a gentle teeth cleaning. Before beginning my cleaning, I explained that my teeth were a bit sensitive. A numbing gel was applied on my gums and I didn't feel any discomfort whatsoever ?. Following, I was treated with the most thorough examination of my life by Dr. Raanan. Aside from the fact that the beautiful penthouse office overlooks Beverly Hills and all the famous Hollywood celebrities are treated in this office, I was genuinely happy with the energy, atmosphere, knowledge, & passion of the staff. My front tooth chipped right before a huge family event (of course it did! ). I had seen Dr. Raanan's pictures on Instagram so made an appt with his office. Their office is so beautiful and posh that you feel like you're at a high-end spa and not a dentist's office. The view is breathtaking, and the serenity of it melts away the stress of being at a dentist's office. The staff were incredibly nice and professional. Unlike other dentists who are rushed from one patient to another, Dr. Raanan takes his time to teach you about the status of your teeth & make you feel comfortable. He makes you laugh throughout the process. The pictures in the office show that he's worked on celebrities such as Megan Fox but somehow he's still humble and cool. I'm very happy with my teeth.
