Be ware. This dentist office recommended me to have a root canal, after doing x-rays and a whole examination of the tooth. I went to another dentist and the problem was a piece of food stuck deep in the gums. They did a deep cleaning and the pain was over in a couple of hours. Almost lost my tooth.
I'm sorry Miguel that you felt that you had a bad experience with us. I reviewed your x rays that we took back in November of 2024 it clearly shows an old filling with a shadow underneath that's very close to the nerve and some shadowing below the roots ,with your present symptoms and discomfort all lead to a root canal treatment. Sadly my response to your review doesn't allow me to upload a picture to explain to you what I had suggested to you in your treatment plan. I can assure you that sooner than later you will present some discomfort, if so, our doors are always open and ready to care for you.

Been coming to Dr. Eduardo Escalante for almost 3 years now, and I have to say he’s one of the best if not theee best dentist I’ve ever gone to. I love that I know he is giving me the best advice and truly cares for my well being, and is not just trying to upsell me. The work is always amazing and I like how they always work with me since I have sensitive teeth and sometimes need some extra care. Coming from Los Angeles it’s hard to find a dentist office that gives off professional but a family type of vibe but if that’s what you are looking for, look no further. The staff is amazing and the new office is insanely nice. Thanks guys ??

The best experience you can have. The entire team is professional and very attentive. Dr. Eduardo, very good dentist and above all honest. A dentist wanted to do several jobs for me in San Diego. And I got scared and then I went to my Dr. Eduardo in Tijuana. And he said no. You don't need anything they told you in the USA. There I realized that there are charlatan and liar dentists all for the sake of collecting insurance! So you are in the best hands in Tijuana. They also speak English and the place has a beautiful view of my Tijuana. ❤️

Dr Escalate!!!!! is amazing ,very talented in dentistry ! Amazing stuff. I was there last week. I have four implants done two crowns in one day I went home. There was no pain or nothing. Dr Escalate!!!!! is amazing ,very talented in dentistry and with Botox ! I had a molar that needed to be implanted, it fits and sits beautifully!!! Also if you have questions or concerns he is gracious to assist anything you need before and after process! Now with Botox I was a member of the Beverly Hills rejuvenation center in La Jolla California they had several mistakes with my botox procedure and I had a phobia with my eyelid folding !!!! Dr Escalate removed all my wrinkles and my botox lasted much longer than any procedure I ever endured. Highly recommend! This 40 year old is so satisfied . Thank you ? Cecilia

I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Eduardo and his team for taking care of my dental needs. I’ve been visiting Dr. Eduardo for 16 years now. He has been proficient in all my procedures over the past 16 years. I’ve had several root canals by him and his team, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The crowns are perfect, and he always takes as much time as necessary to get an ideal fit. His staff always shows great care. I can see it in their eyes as they perform their duties. Always friendly, always caring. Dr. Eduardo expertise and professionalism are something I couldn’t find nor afford in the United States. To be honest, I actually have dental coverage in the States. Basically, it boils down to trust. 16 years is a long time, and his work and office are always clean and organized with personal charm. I especially look forward to the walk back and enjoy Tijuana. Revolution St. has lots of cool team restaurants that I enjoy visiting. That actually says a lot. I literally eat 30min after every visit. I typically park on the US side and walk across the border. Once on the other side, I grab a cab, and 10min later, I’m at Dr. Eduardo’s office. On the way back, I walk, but cabs are everywhere, so it’s super easy to get to the crossing in no time. Lately, on my past 2 visits, my wait at the border was no more than 30min. I have no express pass. I feel very fortunate to live close to Tijuana and have access to Dr. Eduardo’s Dental care services. Thank you, Dr. Eduardo from the bottom of my heart.

I took my Mother to Dr. Escalante several years ago for extensive dental work and they did an incredible job at a reasonable rate - especially in comparison to her US dentist prices - and she has returned for several additional procedures. Would give 6 Stars if that was an option.

Hands down one of the MOST PROFESSIONAL, EXTREMELY CLEAN clinics I have encountered. Dr. Escalante was highly recommended by a few friends. I needed 2 dental implants and was very nervous going to his clinic, one because of the thought of the actual procedure and two going to a dentist down across the border. Let me tell you that Dr. Escalante, his clinic, his staff, his knowledge and most of all his personality exceeded all my expectations. I felt comfortable and quite honestly completely forgot how nervous I was going into the procedure. I have made Dr. Escalante my family’s dentist and will not go anywhere else. This clinic and Dentist deserves 10 stars if possible. I am one happy patient!!!

I saw Dr. Escalante about 11 or 12 years ago and I was really happy. Both me and most of my family. In fact I was thinking of going back to fix something there. The fillings he gave me continue as if nothing had happened.

Don't waste your money with this dentist! He just wants to get money from them because he doesn't know how to work. It's going to cost them twice as much, they're going to have to go to a dentist who knows how to do the job so he can fix what Eduardo does. Love your time and money!
