Buy a beware, cool smiles 505 Claremont Parkway in the Bronx needs to be shut down and license revoked. This. was a very unpleasurable experience. I plan on reporting Dr. Adams to the Better Business Bureau and to the dental review board of New York. The way I was treated in this office. Today was not acceptable. I will never come back here. Dr. Adams is very condescending and very disrespectful I have been coming here since I was 14 years old and I've never experienced the disrespect that I have experienced today. Do not text me anymore. Refund my deposit for a defective flex that was never done properly from three months ago. You guys are the WORST!!!!!!???? i’m sure Dr. Gold is very disappointed and all the hard work he put into this establishment to see it go down the drain by incompetent, disrespectful, immature, and sympathetic Dr’s practicing at this facility

Lisa is very sweet (front desk on the right corner) and Dr.Tran is a nice doctor instead of telling me to pull my tooth out he wants to save it. Denise on the other hand let me know I’m have to pull two tooth out (receptionist). don’t think it was her place to say that and it did make me sad but I ignored her. Listen to the doctor and only ask the doctor questions. She didn’t have to say that and I express to her I’m sad about what she was saying and her response wasn’t warming.

Welcome they treat you like the area. Krystal office manager poor customer service. The office tell you walk in until 8:45-9:45 am . Got there at 9:28 am and told me no more walk in for the day. Than tell me will see me but will take up to 3 hour for me to be seen. No where it stated the walk in time anywhere or on website. A waste of time . Not surprised ..If you trying to waste time this is a great place .. if you have a job and value your time this place not for you . In 2018 I went with a broken tooth, they took X-rays only to tell me the day of appointment if they needed to sedate me fully insurance wouldn’t cover me but they weren’t “sure” if that would happen on day of appointment? So what’s the point then? When attempt yrs later to call again. I call because I have one insurance the guy on phone said “we don’t take that?” But soon as I mention the “other” insurance, he was ready to make an appointment. But no appointments available till September, that’s a “No” from me. Will continue to look for a reliable dentist…

I wish I had something positive to say about them, but I don't. I actually think I let them charge me for something that was covered by my old dental before Cigna became my new plan. I actually gave one of 505's representatives a copy of my new plan and they still asked me for a payment. So I went to another dentist in the Bronx that took my coverage in full. So you guys actually lost money by treating me like I'm ignorant. I wish your boss knew about your treatment to me. I still have messages on my phone stating that I would have to pay about $1,600 when actually no one had spoken to Cigna at all. Now I have a nice pair of dentures which was 100% covered by Cigna. Thank you 505 for forcing me to find a good reliable dentist !!!!!! I read some other reviews that mentioned names of some of the staff that tried to fool them too. So I won't mention any names. You know who you are. So one day when you're mistreated by someone, don't complain. Just remember how you treated me and other potential customers. You usually get back what you've given. This place is completely transactional. You can tell they have good doctors but their billing department representative is the one who they treat and how. If you're not billable enough you will be referred to another place. So make sure your insurance is as billable as it gets before you make your appointment.

I've been going to this dentist office for years now. My Mom recommended it and she goes here too. Even my Dad and my Bonus Mom's family speak highly of this place. The receptionist Lisa knows my family on both sides very well and she's known me for years now too! The dentists I've seen here over the years have all taken good care of me. I know I don't have the strongest teeth, hence all the fillings I usually get, but they make sure I leave feeling better than before. I'm currently working with Dr. Tran who is very professional and polite and he answers all my questions. He'll tell me my options both logically and realistically to ensure in the long run what is best for me. I highly recommend this dental office to any new patients looking for a dentist. They do accept a lot of insurances and the location is a bus ride away. ?

First off, it is entirely too difficult to get this office on the phone to make an appointment, an inquiry, ANYTHING. The wait will be 15 to 25 minutes just for you to get sent to voice-mail. Now, for the main issue, as described in an email I sent to the office after THEY asked me how my visit was in an email. I still have not received an explanation, an apology or response of any kind. I was scheduled for an examination and possible extraction at 8:30 am on January 25th. I had called and confirmed my appointment several times, and was told I was ready to go before I came in. However when I arrived, Lisa, a receptionist, tried to tell me that I would have to pay $195 for the x-ray since I'd already had one done at my dentist the week before. She told me that if she submitted a claim it would be denied, so i was going to have to pay upfront. I know full well that she absolutely could have submitted that claim even with the possibility of denial, and that even if it had been denied I would have had the opportunity to appeal it and still have the services covered by insurance. This woman insisted that I had to pay so i left, then called my insurance. She doesn't get to decide not to submit a claim and reject my appointment based off her personal assumptions about what my insurance will and won't cover. Especially since it turns out she was wrong. Not only did my insurance tell me that they would've covered the x-ray, it turns out that it didn't matter that I'd gotten x-rays done at my dentist because the oral surgeon wasn't doing the same type of x-ray. This wasn't enough. She next insists that I get my dentist office on the phone so that they can tell her what type of x-rays I got done and how many. The representative at my dentist office told me there was no reason for her to ask so many questions and that it was not her role or her place. But we still gave her what she asked for. Then she insisted that I get my health insurance on the phone AGAIN, which took an hour. I then had to give this woman permission to speak about my personal information with the agent. She interrogated them about whether I could even come here, because she was suddenly unsure that my insurance was even accepted at that location, and they told her EXACTLY what I'd already told and shown her: I chose this office BECAUSE they were listed as in network by my insurance and were even recommended by an agent. But she forced me to get my Healthcare on the phone because she needed them to tell her this personally. When thay didn't yield her any results, she started asking if I had a copay, or if there were any max limits for services, and several other questions thay centered around what she could get me to pay for today before I could finally go to my appointment. The answer was nothing. Nothing was wrong. Nothing was missing. Nothing extra needed to be done. And when she handed the phone back to me the insurance agent told me what? That this was highly unusual and inappropriate. This woman wasted my entire morning because of her nasty desperation to be right. Lisa refused to do what she was supposed to do, because she was so confident that she was right. So I had to spend hours of my day getting agents and on the phone just so they could tell her over and over again that there was no good reason to keep me from being seen today. Then, when I finally got in the seat, they gave me x-rays that showed that I needed a whole other kind of surgery that my insurance likely wouldn't cover. So again, I call insurance. My insurance tells me I actually might have options available for coverage of this surgery, but first they need the oral surgeons office to submit a pre-determination. That was back in January. It is March 22nd, I am days away from aging out of my health/dental insurance and despite me AND several agents from my insurance contacting this office and requesting the determination submission, they still have not. This establishment is grossly unprofessional, find somewhere else!

Dr. Tran (or could be Dr. Trav) was my dentist and he was really cool. Made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The front desk staff was great as well. Lisa helped me make my follow up appointment and got me out the door quickly.

i wanted to really post my experience with this place, my insurance is medicaid healthfirst, initially when i came into this clinic only one dentist inside the clinic did accept my insurance. my issue wasnt with any other dentist in the clinic because i believe they have other insurances accepted but i am speaking of the one dentist that does accept health first. For every other dentist besides im pretty sure they are good but i cant attest to that but i have nothing bad to say because i never got treated with them, my experience is with this one dentist. I was extremely dissapointed because i honestly thought he would give me a good cleaning, i went to him twice and yet somehow i notice he didnt do a proper cleaning hence my comment, if your looking for someone to really clean the gunk of your teeth dont waste your time after i repeatedly asked him to get certain spots to remove all the plaque within my teeth he lied to me and said he did it, when i told him he didnt get it he said he did and i used to be a dental assistant so i know he was just trying to charge the insurance and then he claimed that he was a professor of NYU which i believe but the execution of my teeth in removing plaque was terrible, i asked if he can re do it and he went in and cleaned something and said all done. i remember being so dipleased and it took me a while to find another dentist because unfortunately is easy charging the insurance and doing the bareminimum to clean the teeth. the only thing i had to my advantage was my experience as a dental assitant and i just knew something was not right. Please dont waste ur time with this guy he would charge your insurance and not do anything to the teeth.

The WORST place to come to!!! I was told that I needed fillings and I thought I was in safe hands because of how many good review they have but I was WRONG. I have issues with every single filling I got here. I visited multiple times bc I was in pain and they kept telling me that I was fine when my face was swollen for 2 WEEKS. I was there to talk to a doctor about the fillings when the dental hygienist walked in and yelled at me “ it’s normal for fillings to hurt”. I was very shocked and had to compose myself. Appointment at 12:30pm with dental hygienist. Was brought into the dental room at 12:40 and seen at 12:45. It's a relatively quick office. Way quicker than other non independent offices like Montefiore based ones. Dont do it. . . . Just don't. This Denist Office is both crooked and wicked. I went into the office suspecting that i was in need of a root canal, so now surprise there. I saw Dr. Farzin, the owner of the practice. His attitude was abrasive even after I told him that I was fearful. He would rather leave my tooth open and exposed to ensure that I come back for a root canal 3 weeks later than to temporarily close it so that no further breakage or pain happens. Even after I put down a deposit for the root canal, he still refused to temporarily fill it so that i could have some relief. (They were charging $400 over my insurance) This left me feeling not respected as a patient and like the facility cared more about getting a dollar than caring for the patient. This, of course, can and probably will insight more dental-phobia. I wound up having to go to a dentist while out of state on vacation because I was in pain, and my tooth started bleeding. It was there that the bew dentist comfirmed that 505 dentist office was guilty of unbundling and upcharging. You would think that I was a complicated case, but no. Both dentist said my rootcanal was as straightforward as they came. The $400 was for bio-pure, an optional rinse that should be included in the root canal covered by my insurance. Only when they mentioned it, it was mandatory and not covered by my insurance.

I had to take deep breaths before writing review due to level of frustration with this clinic. I hope my review will prevent someone else from wasting their time and spare themselves the headache. My wife and I started going to 505 as a recommendation from my father in law. Safe to say I won’t be taking recommendations from him anymore. The lack of organization of 505 had my wife and I upset to begin with. Numerous times I called to make an appointment and there was always some error every time. One time, I called and made an appointment to arrive and the front desk representative tells me we don’t have appointments on the calendar. Then, another time I make an appointment, they had the wrong information, they had my wife and I birthday’s mixed up and name on the profile. Lastly, one day my wife was scheduled to come into the office for a procedure, 505 called her and asked her if she could come in earlier than her scheduled appointment. My wife arrived at THEIR desired earlier time, she ended up waiting over an hour and half and couldn’t be seen because the wait time extended to a point that she could no longer wait because of work. Which brings me into the lack of professionalism, when my wife attempted to get the money back for the procedure she didn’t get done a woman named Krystal had the audacity to say “well why didn’t you just make another appointment?”. My wife had to explain to her that first off as all, you inconvenienced her twice by asking her to come in earlier than her appointment to then have her wait an EXCESSIVE amount of time to be seen. To then, have a snarky attitude and say why we didn’t make another appointment? What for? To be waiting for two hours to be seen. Wait, there’s more.. my wife was getting invisaligners through them, my wife only received ONE box of retainers that supposedly was suppose to be ONE year worth of treatment and was charged $4,000. When my wife suspected something was wrong with this, the same woman Krystal — rudely conteste saying we can try to dispute the claim but you won’t win the case. Instead of attempting to offer guidance and better explain how one box of aligners cost near $5000. Needless to say 505 has a severe lack of customer service and professionalism. I would not recommend anyone to go here. To entrust people who can barely make appointments correctly with something as delicate as your teeth is a grave mistake.

I had an appointment today with Natalie Farokhzadeh to address multiple issues, as I'm getting prepped for my fillings the doctor puts the oragel to number me before the injection. She gave me one tiny injection in the area where the filling was not going to take place. She proceeds to do the drilling I felt it so she stops and put a tiny bit more, this went on for over an hour. I've had fillings before and they numb the roof of the mouth and the sides I had to ask her to numb the roof near the area of the tooth she still put a tiny bit and had to do it two more times. If she would've put it in the area in the first place she wouldn't have had to keep doing it. On top of that after each injection she would leave the room to wait for it to set it for a few minutes, it don't take a few minutes for it to kick in. At point she had me waiting for 30 minutes, I was beyond annoyed I was about to leave, I look in another room and two other people are just laying there waiting and there were more than one dentist there. They shouldn't over book. I get home and record inside near the area to make sure it's good because it feels like I still have a cavity and there's another cavity right next to the tooth she fixed, I don't know why she wouldn't fix it while she's back there. I've met some racist dentists but they still did what they had to do except one , I can now make this the second one. She barely gave me a cleaning.

It is very unfortunate that I took my time to write a bad review for this establishment, but people are entitled to know. I expected a more communicative and professional care for their patients. It should be common courtesy for staff members to inform patients beforehand if a Dr. will not be in the office on the day of the ''procedure'' so that a re-scheduled appointment can take place. It is very inconvenient, frustrating, and painful, especially if the patient is relying on the institution and cannot afford to take days off from work.

I can’t remember the last time I was able to say I was happy to go to the dentist. Well let’s just say it’s been years. I have great oral health but have been dealing with mistakes from past dentist. I had a huge permanent crown that allowed food to get trapped under the tooth causing pain and discomfort. Dr. Rickin was able to help me fix this issue that I have been dealing with for too long. He so is professional, kind and really cares for his patients concerns. I am so grateful to him and also to Ms. Lisa at the front desk. She is also very kind and professional. This place is the worst for being seen, why give an appointment time and be seen 2 hours later, they are constantly changing dentists, I go to check my teeth and they told me there’s one teeth need filling. I make appointment and I see deferent doctor she doesn’t explain any things only start the job. First I feel I’m at car repair store, it so much pain I already have Anastasia after she finish I go home and then I start feel more bad I can’t sleep or eat I call next day they told me come as emergency I go and they send me to deferent doctor the doctor don’t do anything for me he only advice me to give plot some time and if I still feel bad I have to make appointment with the same doctor who did the job for me. I feel bad but can’t do anything. After 1 week pain and really can’t eat I make appointment and ask for the same doctor who did the filling. They told me sorry she not working anymore. It’s long pain full story. End I see other 2 doctors and they can’t help me. My advice don’t go to this office again .

I have had a terrible experience with orthodontics treatment; firstly, the orthodontist is only available on the first and third Wednesday every month. It is extremely inconvenient, and they should tell you that before you begin treatment, but they don’t! What makes it worse is that actually scheduling at a time that works those days is impossible. It’s been two months and I have not been able to be checked because they have no times available that work for me (I have work). Even then, they’ll happily charge my card the 15th of every month. If I could go back in time and choose a different place for my braces, I would.

I can't wait for this office full of delinquents gets shutdown for fraud. This place is all about money, they will literally make you come out your pockets for services you do not need. I have private insurance and despite that, they convince me several times to upgrade for better more esthetic dental work in which I really did not need. I was even pressured to take out a loan for dental work. Furthermore, they lead me to believe that I needed invisalign treatment when I did not require it at all. When I finish the invisalign treatment in 7 months, although they had previously told me that I needed it for a year, they convinced me to purchase 4 sets of retainers. Before they completed the fitting process for the retainers, they told me that I had a cavity on one tooth and that they will perform an onlay. I asked them if that will interfere with the fitting of my retainers and they said no. After my retainers arrived they scheduled me for an onlay and on the day of the procedure, they said I needed a root canal. After the root canal was completed, my retainers did not fit and the head doctor refused to do fitting for new ones because they did not want to cover the cost. So basically, they want me to pay for it. And it's crazy because now they saying I have another cavity and need a filling with a copay of $75 for a composite filling. I told them that I want the type of filling that my insurance pays for and they said that the doctor wants me to have a composite filling instead. I have private insurance and I have spent over $6,000 in that dental office. Based on my experience, please RUN. These people are all about money ? and nothing else. I have seen two doctors arguing right in front of me because one doctor was honest about telling a patient he didn't need a procedure that they were trying to make him pay for. The lead doctor Dr. Farzin, was upset because the patient decided not to pay for a unnecessary treatment. Please run from here.

Dr. Ross is an excellent dentist. I became his patient at about 18 years of age and now I’m in my 30s and I still don’t want any other dentist except for him. He is extremely patient and consistent with his clientele. Personally, I didn’t take care of my teeth in the past and he took on the task to repair them. He has performed three root canals for me, four crowns, and many fillings and I never complained of any pain when in his chair. He also communicates with me very well and he is funny. Thank you Dr. Ross for all the year’s you’ve been my dentist. He is the best, highly recommended!! And last but not least, Lisa is the best receptionist ever!! Every time I go to the office my mom makes sure to send he love and kind words to Lisa. She has always been very pleasant and kind to us over the years.

I’ve been coming here for more than 25 years to 505 dental to see Doctor Ross. Lisa is one of the worker who I’ve known ever seen I start here and if there is a problem she stop at nothing to fix it. My experience has always been comfortable and wonderful. The only thing was the long wait when I had a appointment and now that has changed which makes me like it even more and all the upgrade and renovations. Now it is fast and efficient. I went in for a 1pm appt for a severe tooth pain, greeted the front desk but did not even get a look up or a greeting from anyone. i did not get seen until 2hrs later for x-rays. The x-ray tech was rude rolling his eyes because I would not speak to him in Spanish or fully understand his Spanish to me. Then I was told the entire procedure would be 11000 for a small bridge and 2 single tooth implants but prior to my leaving i asked again an Mr.Scott said 13,000 while eating junk And smiling An then proceeded to tell me "tears wont pay for it" when I got emotional from the number jump, I was recommended here by a family member but I will not return again Or recommend it.

Went there right before Christmas for the first time for a cleaning, the dentist convinced me I needed 11 fillings and to do 4 on the spot. After the numbing wore off I realized they were horribly rough and uneven, and worse I had aching pain whenever I ate. They must not have been bonded properly because a week later a piece of the filling actually fell out and exposed my tooth underneath. Went to a different dentist to have them redone, turns out he messed up 3 out of 4.

My x-rays were taken by a Spanish speaker, which left a language barrier, he was not able to understand what was being told to him. I felt this location was very professional. I looked up the closest dental location and 505 was the first choice. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered as the front desk attendant was very calm and patient. The doctors and exam rooms are flawless and polished as well. The team answered all my questions thoroughly as well. This particular dental office is very flexible with their appointments, they can book you next day if there are slots available which is rare for NYC. Perfect dental place to choose, especially if you haven’t been in a long time! ****I would just like to add that I had to wait from 12pm-7:30pm for my appointment with the surgeon in their lobby. They overbooked their extractions surgeries. Post operation was a 6 month recovery process due to them not suturing my upper right wisdom tooth opening, leaving a hole that would not heal in my nasal cavity that was infected for several weeks. Also the surgeon would not remove my lower wisdom teeth due to my nerve however when I checked with reputable surgeons elsewhere they successfully extract them. I just feel that the offices were rushed and the surgeon was exhausted and not confident in his abilities to execute the operation under the circumstances 100% - because quite frankly he was put through the grinder for hours before me. Honestly I didn’t want him to operate on me after how much he had been through. I don’t believe any job should hold their employees under these demands, especially under surgical operations. By the time it was my turn the surgeon looked like he was ready to combust. I was terrified to sit in the chair after hearing the patients screaming under anesthesia. Then I was rushed out of recovery sobbing in the lobby high as a kite on ketamine apologizing as I should have been sitting for at least another hour in recovery before leaving. I’m not sure this was a typical day I’m assuming?

Caution: the good reviews on here are mainly cause they offer and DD gift card for a review that they require patients to do in front of them. Assuring a better review….This place will push a credit card on you from the very first appointment and say it’s because you need all these things done that you really don’t just to make a money from you. The staff is friendly but disconnected. The office manager Scott However was extremely pushy and rude and made me very uncomfortable with his aggressive attitude. He was even rude to the staff and especially the Dentist that was honest with me about not needing an implant they already charged me for. The dentist said the implant was risky for me and not completely necessary. When I asked to not be charged for the implant I didn’t get, the office manager Scott got more aggressive and walked around me like I couldn’t hear him asking the staff why I didn’t want the implant after I had already explained I wasn’t comfortable with the risk. He then got very close to me and began Interrogating me. And even offered to pay for the extra x-ray that he felt I needed. Which I again didn’t want and expressed that fully. The whole exchange felt awkward and I felt pressured so I left. After, I called the credit card company to dispute the charges that were Preemptively made. I will go elsewhere for my dental work from now on. They need to be trained in customer service and not be so openly rude and greedy..

I recently started going to the dentist and a couple of dentist I have gone always had the same problem, their receptionists were never nice and there was an extremely long what even if you're on time. At 505 dental, the receptionist, Lisa, is very lovely and is very curteous. The wait time is reasonable and usually short. Whatever questions I have- she is always happy to answer. The receptionist area is clean and stylish along with the whole place and is clearly well looked after. The dentists and dentist assistants are also very lovely and helpful aswell.

Came in for the first time for a cleaning and check up. Barbarba the women who cleaned my teeth was in a haste and kept answering all my questions with “Brush for 2 minutes” after I told her I brushed for at least 3 minutes on average. Honestly got no better answers for any of my main questions except for with Lisa one of the staff members. Lisa was helpful for questions outside of my actual teeth unlike Barbara. It’ll be best for you to come in when they’re not busy as you’d be handled better.

From their web page it mention one day service and because their lab was on site so they are able to provide what is needed to fill iin those gaps. I walked out with what I needed. Dr. Natalie was wonderful she was so warm and comforting which give me comfort. The dr. definitely has skills. Must also give to props to Michel'le who assist Dr. Natalie she was on point for whatever was needed. Thomas was on point with providing and thoroughly going over the paperwork on services and pricing and the front desk was also on point in processing patients and entering the info for them to be seen. I will be going back for completion of my smile which I have been putting off for too long.

This place is so unprofessional it's under construction and only have one surgeon doing surgery. Apt was at 10 am and it's an hour after and still not seen. Spoke to the manager on duty and said that unfortunately the doctor is backed up. If doctor is backed up tell the patient once checking in that it's going to be a wait rather then have an upset patient sitting and waiting and when asked when will i be seen say there is still a patient in front of me. This place needs new management to analyze the business more and also hire more staff due to the fact the appointment book was so heavy and full. Why have a book full and there is only one person ? Does that make sense? Is there a sense of urgency when it comes to the patient coming in on their day off and have errands to do after here? Is it fair customer service doesn't not take place here as to communicating with the patients prior checking in it will be a wait and that the doctor is backed up due to the fact there is only one doctor. Maybe patients will understand if it was told to them at first . Horrible service . Wanted to also check my teeth front desk said they didn't have the ability to look up my insurance and tell me my out of pocket cost if i want to see the doctor she made me call my insurance. I work in the optical field as a manager cultivating exams and walk ins are extremely important because it also helps with driving the business. Long story short do not come in until they get better management and staff and hire more doctors .... once again stay away u less you want to spend all morning waiting to get seen! Good luck !

This is the worst dentist anyone can ever go too. You could set up an appointment and still got get seen till hours hours later: first of all that was my first visit and I was schedule for 2pm. I got there at 1:39pm and it was 3 something in the afternoon and still no call. Everyone who was in that waiting area got called BUT ME. This place is for hood ratchet boogers like the ones that work and live near that area. Never did I spend 2 hours of my life on nothing. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO IS VERY SERIOUS ABOUT THEIR TIME AND THEIR REGULAR SCHEDULE. NEVER AGAIN.

I was barely in the chair before the dentist started trying to sell me Invisalign and push it on me. Didn't take "I can't afford it" for an answer and tried to pressure me to get my parents to pay for it. Acted like money shouldn't be an issue and it was just kind of uncomfortable. It felt like when you go to the mall and someone from a kiosk pounces and tries to get you to buy a t-shirt with Marilyn Monroe or Mickey Mouse on it. Just left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

The place just got a renovation and looks great! The front desk staff is always helpful and welcoming. Every time I call I get an answer and my needs are met. I started my Invisalign back in August 2019. I am very happy and pleased with my results and even within the middle of my treatment I noticed myself smiling bigger and more without worrying about my teeth! Such a great feeling! My dentist Dr.Farzin was great and patient with me during the process and answered all my questions. Yes, the pricing is a bit steep so I would suggest getting the Care Credit as I did if you qualify and paying monthly or saving up for the process. It’s costly and takes time but it’s worth it! P.S Don’t forget to ask for your munchie to chew on!

I would to start off by saying I’ve been going to 505 since I was a little girl lol I used to be treated by dr gold but when he retired I was seen by various dentists at 505. But once I started seeing Dr Ross I never went back to another dentist there or anywhere else in nyc. Dr Ross is the best and most of all he is a people person always making you laugh and he truly cares about his patients very compassionate and listens to your needs and makes his professional judgement that will be best for you. Dr Ross is awesome and he should be recognized for his hard work especially on Saturdays when he is the only dentist there I’ve seen him in action very hard worker multi tasking to make everyone happy and seen. Dr Ross is worth the wait. 505 is lucky to have him and I hope they recognize him and give him the recognition he deserves. Also would like to add when he did my root canals I didn’t feel a thing. Now that’s awesome!!!!

I went into get a root Canal done due to excruciating pain from an old filling and after 3 visits over the course of 5 weeks I am now pain free, and have the most amazing crowns fitted. If I can give this practice 10 stars I would! After relocating from the Bronx, I continued my treatment with Dr. Farzin. Yes, I travel 2 hours going and coming (more with traffic), but it's worth it. Dr. Farzin combines excellent dental skills with a compassion for his patients. The entire office staff and assistants reflect the same attentiveness. Dr. Farzin meticulously and with a great level of expertise drew out an action plan for my transformation and when I say transformation, I mean TRANSFORMATION. I can go on and on but to sum it all up 3 words to describe Dr. Farzin are caring, detail oriented, and my hero! He saved my smile and gave me the ability to smile again. Of course I had another visit at the office and I wasn’t surprised....I was given exceptional care by Dr. Amir and Sophia. The patient advocates at reception are very helpful and caring! Dr. Amir Sadighpour and Sophia were amazing throughout my entire process of having metal fillings removed and replaced with porcelain due to medical issues. They both were very patient and caring throughout the entire process, as I needed ALOT of numbing for this procedure! Dr. Amir's expertise allowed me to not need any further work (possibility of a root canal). In addition, I had no sensitivity to my teeth and I didn't even realize I was chewing on my new fillings, talk about great work! Lastly, the staff here at 505, especially Ms. Lisa and Shawn were extremely pleasant. Thanks 505!

Horrible. Unprofessional. I waited for three hours one day only to be told the dentist has to leave because she has to get home before dark due to her religion. No other dentist would help us.The day we came back we watched as people who arrived after we did got seen before us. You would think after waiting three hours at the prior appointment we would have priority. After speaking to other patients in the waiting room I realized I wasn't the only one bring treated unfairly. Another patient even told me that more than once after waiting a few hours she was told the dentist had to go home and she had to come back. She also had to wait when she returned even though she waited hours without being seen on the prior visit. I believe if more people actually left a review here they would have one star. Also I was asked to sit in the waiting room because I dared to complain. I was not able to stay with my child. I saw other moms being allowed to stay with their children. The bathroom was also out of order. Please save yourself the aggravation and find a place that will value you as a patient.

My dentist, Dr. Farzin and his assistant made me feel so comfortable and didn’t make me feel bad for being super dramatic. The staff didnt give her any updates as to why she was still waiting for the dentist to see her! And she couldn't eat or drink for 6 hours prior to her appointment! So I decided to try this 505 Dental because all the good reviews. The dentist office actually has a sign asking visitors to leave a review for a chance to win something. So the good reviews are people hoping to win something in return. My review is completely honest. I gave 3 stars because the staff is very friendly. The first visit I made with my son and even tho we were 30 mins early for our appointment we didn’t see the dentist until 2 hrs later. When my son finally got in the dentist chair, the dentist kept stopping to talk about the patient who was before us that they had an issue with! Now the second visit was a week later for myself. The dental assistant gave me a good cleaning and told me I have plaque and sensitive teeth. When I was seated with the actual dentist, he asked me did I have any concerns about my teeth. I said yes I want to remove the rest of the plaque from my teeth, but I can’t due to the sensitivity. He looked at the x-rays of my teeth & "said good no cavities. I’ll see you in six months.” I’m like what about the plaque and sensitivity. He started rambling on about what could’ve caused it & then said I would need a deep cleaning & that he would send a request to my insurance company. I told him don’t bother! Also the office itself needs a good cleaning, the equipment is outdated and the rooms are very small! If you are looking for a good dentist that actually cares about your dental concerns this not the dentist for you.

First visit was easy breezy. I was literally in and out, as I only went in for consultation and x-rays. Hopefully each visit will go as well. They are currently under construction, yet my interactions with the staff showed that they were professional and conscientious about their work!! New Review: 1st visit was easy breezy as I stated, however, subsequent interactions have not gone as well. I now get a sense of unprofessionalism, lack of internal communication, and incompetence. I contacted the clinic on January 2nd, 2020, to inform them that my medical insurance changed, and I asked them to resubmit my dental pre-approval under regular Medicaid. I call back a week later, and NOTHING has been done, and nobody knows what I'm talking about. Smdhh. Tacky, and unprofessional. Period. It was a simple request: Please resubmit request for pre-approval under straight Medicaid, and they couldn't even get that done in a week. This stuff is done electronically and via fax these days, so it really could have been done in a week. NO MORE VISITS!! NO REFERRALS!! Happy New Year 2020!!!

Dr Ross did a cleaning and a filling and as always very professional and kind....I will be making an appointment for more work to be done in the new year. One thing I really like there is the cleanliness.

I have been going to 505 Dental Associates for over 10 years.The staff and friendly and knowledgeable. Lisa and Dr.Ross has been at the location for an extremely long time.I am highly appreciative of the both of them.Dr. Ross is highly competent in his position.Dr.Ross makes you feel at ease.I walk in with anxiety and walk out confident with a new smile.He is straightforward and works fast and efficiently.Lisa works with patience who are not sure of their next steps to take for dental work. I don't get to see her often because she is upstairs working with the billing department.But when she is in the reception area, she works fast a d she is always professional even during stressful times.. I recommend this Dr.'s office as long as Dr.Ross remains at this location.

Awesome staff!!! While recovering from spinal surgery, I decided what a great time to see a dentist before I go back to work, because I knew I needed new dentures/partials. I googled "nearest dentist" and 505 Dental came up. Never been there before. First appointment was on a Sunday for extractions, which was great. After that each appointment was expeditious to make sure I would have my dentures quickly. Dr. Ross and the whole staff are great!! My daughters & grandson are now patients. I've switched my entire family to 505 Dental. Highly recommended.

I used to come here as a kid and wanted to go there again because they WERE good. New management, horrible service! The entire appointment was rushed! Doctor didn’t introduce himself and came in the room and seen that needed to be done on the computer. He said I needed 3 fill ins and only did 2 because “he was backed up” and “likes to spend his time”. If I came in for an appointment to get work done, I shouldn’t have to come in AGAIN to get what needed to be done in the first place.

In all my years I have never had such a positive experience like the one I have had here. Dr. Ross is not only a excellent dentist, he is personable, attentive and caring. He takes the time to explain all the pre and post dental work, ensures there is understanding and sets the right expectations before starting any work to make sure the patient knows what to expect throughout the entire process. For someone like me (who is terrified of dentists) to give positive review for a dentist he has to be wonderful! The atmosphere and the entire office staff from the receptionist to the billing staff they are all great people as well. I highly recommend this dentist office!!!. I was a mess...i had many bad experiences with other dentist offices until one day my husband came for his dentist appointment. He was very satisfied with his visit and recommended that i come in. I thought here i go again...but then I came in and i first met with Dr. Ebby Boutehsaz and he check me and said don't worry we are going to help you. Ebby was then so caring and very professional that he made me feel good to say..i have hope...something that other dentist didnt do...it was horrible everytime i left their office...then i met with Dr. Farzin..omg !!...he too is greattttt....he is the one who does the work...amazing! !!! doctors..again i highly recommend this dentist office you won't regret it...i can smile again...everyone in my office also tells me how great of a job they did and that i look greattttttt....im happy i finally found s great dentist office.

Be careful with writing honest reviews on here it seems to be getting deleted each time hmmmm. First and foremost I want to say Dr.Gold was the best and after his depature this place has fallen apart and yes this place has been sold for over two years now and he is not returning just so everyone knows sadly and these are new people, my appointment started at 12 pm but the wait in the dental chair was ridiculous. The xray technician sat me down at 12:30 didnt see Dr.Derell until 1:00pm when he got in the room while i was in the dental chair, he dared to have the nerve to question me and say you sure it was 30 mins like really Sir its 1:00pm now I could have fell asleep in this seat and no one would have noticed me in here until I finally got fed up and told the technician to get you.And she even stated she didnt know what was up with you that day and couldnt state a clear answer to where you were and you have done this before she stated to another technician .Now the dental cleaning was not up to par he took a quick look in my mouth said your fine just brushed my teeth and used water with Listerine to rinse.Nor did he use utensils to take out the plac or check for cavities with it and not even the water pic like Dr.Gold use to do in the full check up when he was there.He didnt do any of that he only relied on the xrays which was crazy.Stay away from this place pls it has gone downhill after Dr.Gold sold the place.

Pricilla is amazing; from the moment she walked into the room, she treated me with such kindness and compassion. And Dr. Daniel? A perfectionist to the core (which can be a little annoying at times), but it’s only because he genuinely cares and wants everything to be just right. His work is top-tier—from extractions to dental work to ensuring my bridge fit perfectly and my bite was flawless. I’m not exaggerating when I say this team is the best!
